Chloe went home looking happy.
She even smiled at the people who were snickering at her.
As she neared her house gate, she froze, she had forgot to buy something for her men.
She eyed her compound and she smiled, the roses that sorrounded the house looked beautiful.
She cut six roses thought for a few seconds before adding one.
She craddled the seven roses carefully while walking to the house.
There in the living room the mers were sitting there lazily eyes strained on the TV which was showing a cartoon.
"Tada. Am back." Chloe announced wearing her slippers from the door.
They looked at her before looking at the TV, two seconds later, they looked at her hands that were carrying the flowers.
She smiled at their expectant expression, of course they knew the flowers are for them.
She gifted everybody one and the remaining one, she gave Cassen.
"Why did he receive two?" As always, Alex is the one who complains while others benefitted.
"What do you know?" She sent him a disdainfull like glare.
"What should I know?" He questioned back.
Chloe looked at how he sneakly sniffed the flowers while smiling. When he saw Chloe looking at him, he snorted while grumbling.
"You look happy for gifting us wild flowers?" But his action of carefully holding it like a priceless possession couldn't mistaken.
Chloe rolled her eyes. "Stupid. Those are flowers I planted many years back, which were purified to be original.
They aren't corroded by nature, they aren't human, they are just them. Flowers to look at, admire, sniff their calming scent and keep them at a place you could easily see."
"Who said mine are fake, I was saying the extra one you gifted Cassen is a wild flower?" He persisted in being righteous.
Chloe looked at him before ignoring him.
"Why did I get two?" Everybody was curious but Chloe remained tight lipped.
"You were mad this morning, the other one is an apology." Chloe used her finger to brush her nose guiltly, the action she always does when lying.
Lenox looked at her before asking, " what about my apology extra flower." When he saw how she looked confused he added.
"For removing my belt and forcing me to remain half naked in front of other people." He accused calmly.
Chloe looked embarrassed before she defended herself. "That's not the same."
Lenox just looked at her with his eyes. " How is it not the same? Didn't it make me mad and embarrassed?"
"You see," Chloe tapped her fingers on each other while her eyes moved sneakily.
"We are even. You drew my face in your inner clothes and you just had to remove my eyes. " She said nervously.
Lenox looked at her before thinking inwardly, he will now cut her mouth since she made him mad without compensation.
"Whom did you meet with today?" Larry asked.
Chloe looked at him before smiling, her chin lay on her crossed fingers. "Is beuty curious or jealous? Beauty should not be worried. I met Nillan in help of talking to her sister about Nathan and Alex joining her company."
"What did you use to threaten her with this time?" Dylan asked curiously.
It has always been like that since young. Nillan can't help if not threatened with one of her secrets.
Chloe blinked her eyes innocently. "Am I that kind of a person in your eyes?"
"Aren't you?" He asked back "Now spill it." Dylan said.
'No way am going to tell them I used her crush on Cassen to threaten her.' Chloe fidgeted before finally replying, "I didn't threaten her."
She looked at Larry but seeing how he looked at her like she is shameful she blinked her eyes.
"What is it?" She asked them because their stare was too stinging.
"Nothing, what did you want to ask about?" Larry asked.
"Why do Nillan and her sister Shanti don't get along?"
"How can two alphas coexist in the same pack?" Lenox asked.
"Don't wild dogs do?" She looked confused.
"Wild dogs are wild dogs." Alex snorted.
"But they have two alphas who coexist?" She retorted.
"One of the alpha in wild dogs is a bottom,it can give birth, what if all the alphas are powerful?" Larry asked her.
A house with two alphas can't be maintained.
Chloe's thoughts were interrupted by Cassen statement.
"You are the reason they don't get along."
"What? Why? I don't think I can make two sisters hate each other to that extreme." Chloe protested.
"Who said they hate each other?" Dylan asked.
"Don't they hate each other" she looked confused.
"That is their competitive spirit you put in them, you told them that the winner will be your assistant at the end." Dylan explained.
"How is that related to how they are behaving." She looked at Dylan.
"They are all your die hard fans, one of them is supposed to be by your side at the end but you had been with one of them more than the other, what would be the other's reaction?" Cassen explained calmly.
"The complication makes sense at the same time it doesn't.The thought process is backward but as long as they aren't that extreme, everything can be tolerated.I will go to the farm to see where I can plant the fruit trees." She stated before standing up.
"I will come along." Larry stood up.
"Me too." Lenox said.
Chloe looked at Lenox before smiling. She was thinking of ways to coarse him into following her but he willingly did so.
Her smile widened when he looked like he was regretting his earlier decision.
" I didn't ask you but you willingly did so, if you regret your decision then you are a dog with rabies."
"Who said I regret, I can even follow you for an whole month." He retorted.
"Bingo, it is confirmed then, you will follow me in my farming activities for a whole month." Chloe rejoiced.
Simple, just state something unhygienic to him and you good at controlling him.
"You played me?" Lenox greeted his teeth.
He is the only one who schemes against others not to be schemed against by others.
"But I didn't force you to say those words." Chloe pouted unhappily at being accused wrongly.
He stormed out hottily.
Chloe shrugged innocently before following him out with Larry.
She walked to the shade where her seedlings were delivered yesterday,
