" Stop it, this is the ninety ninth seedling you had blown apart, what will you plant now." Larry shouted.
They had been just watching Chloe blow seed after seed even after he tried telling her on how to do it.
"Do you think am faring any better? I now look like a nest when I haven't even purified a single seed." She shouted back.
She looked a mess. Her carefully styled hair now looked like a bush with her clothes tone.
"Aren't villains supposed to be pros, why do I look like a heroine than a villain." She cried while blowing the hundredth seed.
"Start by remembering how to control your power before you talk about being a pro." Lenox told her, he didn't fear her being mad.
"Am trying, but I just can't get anything right. My powers are one percent how can they blow a seed to nothing?" She complained.
Chloe sat down dejectively. She had been doing the same thing for a full three hours without any progress.
"You know practice makes it perfect aren't you the one who was saying that you need to memorize three times so as you understand?" Larry thought he was consoling her but he made it just worse.
Lenox controlled his wood powers, green vines entered the only remaining seed and after sometime he retrieved them threw the seed to where she was.
"To do something is first measured then controlled before happening. My powers will harden the seeds to prevent them from being blown with you. Purify them now."
She catch the seed that was thrown to her, measured it in her hand, she felt the weight.
The black square seed now looked like a stone.
Chloe took the seed in her left hand, closed her eyes, imagined the fruit she used to make juice with.
Her power now infused in the seed in a tiny threads as the seed changed to the original shape and color.
She opened her eyes when she heard relieved and happy tone, looking at the mango seed in her hand, she grinned.
In the end she did make it.
Chloe's happiness couldn't be hidden.
She looked at Lenox greedly, "how did you do it?"
"I made them sturdy to withstand your power since you can't control the amount of power the seed's needs to be purified with." He replied calmly.
"Then why haven't you said so earlier?"
"You didn't ask." He shrugged innocently.
Chloe glared at him before looking at Larry. " So how should I plant it?"
"Measure the soil pH first and you should know the type of soil that is suitable for growth of mango.
I will tell you on how it should be planted.
Now purify the last batch of mango seeds tomorrow we will purify other fruit seeds." Larry explained.
"Not that first, how will I measure soil pH?" Chloe raised her free hand to stop him from talking.
" We will use vinegar and baking soda since we lack testing materials or capital to buy one.
Mango seed is planted when the belly button is facing downwards.
When you were blowing the seed some part of the soil was blown away which was a mixture of soil, sand and organics.
Any question?" Larry asked while examining the soil in his hand.
Seeing her shook her head, he continued examining the soil. "Now purify the seeds you put in the space bag.
Don't worry about the skin peeling off any unexpected regeneration.
I will be peeling, Lenox will harden the skin shells and you purify them."
Chloe looked expectantly at Lenox who looked aside sulking.
She now had to coarse him to willingly help her.
She discovered that he is a lover of expensive branded clothes and shoes.
Chloe rummaged through the truck the clothes she had bought if there was any branded male clothes of his size and luckily she did find some.
She gave him a Gucci cloth though painfully.
When Lenox saw the perfectly branded cloth, he smiled, his eyes curved in to crescent.
He didn't wait to be told twice, he put the clothes safely before he started making the seeds sturdy.
By the end of it he looked exhausted.
She worriedly helped him sat down while giving him some of her powers.
Looking at his pale complexion lightening Chloe stopped her powers.
"How do you feel, is it better?" She asked worriedly.
"What can be the problem? It was exhaustion but thanks to you am completely fine."
"Are you crazy? I didn't force you to sturdy all of those seeds for now, why were you in hurry?" Chloe shouted at him worriedly.
Lenox was still excited at the branded cloth he received so he didn't even listen to her.
"You really need to go to school." Larry stated calmly.
"What for?" Chloe looked at him, her brows furrowed in confusion.
"You need to learn how to control, use and minimize your powers.
After a one month period who is going to harden your seeds? Lenox won't always be fooled by your provocation for a second time.
Let alone after a month even this month you need to purify seedlings which Lenox can't harden, they would break.
And your powers for now are defensive but you need to know how to use them as offensive." Larry explained.

"What are you waiting for in december holiday, father crismas? You know that guy is not real." Larry mocked.
"He do exist." Lenox interjected. He had been eavesdropping on their conversation.

"Isn't that where the forbidden village is ?" Chloe asked. That place was mentioned in books as a forbidden village even though it homes the most powerful and beautiful mer.
"Do you know why it is forbidden?" Lenox asked mysteriously.
They all shook their heads.
"That place is independent in it's own, no one rules only the strong rules be it a mer.
Death trolls in that village is high.
It houses the strongest witch in the empire and even father crismas comes from there." Lenox looked at them before mouthing a sentence.
"Even Bree, your father, is from that mysterious village."
"How do you know all of this. That village has no specific road to enter?" Larry asked.
"Iam always interested in mysteries and adventure I even plan to start my own company." He replied.
She looked at the two aloof mers joking with each other and she smiled.
"It's getting late, we will think about a solution tomorrow." She announced before packing her purified seeds in a space bag and keeping them safely in a secured place.
They all ignored Lenox last sentence of Bree coming from the forbidden village. The king's ear eavesdrop all around the kingdom.
Many people always fear talking about their secrets because of the king powers who likes using it.
When the king was supposed to be in a comma, alot of people rejoiced for their secrets were kept safe.
