Chapter 1 - Erythion

Erythion

Appearance

Erythion appears as a young man of the Golden Race: tall, slender yet softly strong, with the unblemished, luminous quality of someone who has never known hardship. His skin is pale and smooth, almost luminous under the eternal spring light. His most striking feature is his long, thick, wavy hair of a vivid copper-red that falls past his shoulders and down his back, catching the light like living flame. His eyes glow with a soft, warm orange light, especially when he is deep in thought or when his domain begins to stir.

He usually wears a simple black robe with subtle gold trim along the edges and neckline, belted at the waist. The garment is worn more out of personal preference and the quiet habit of his former life than necessity; the Golden Age has no need for clothing, and he often leaves the robe open or discards it entirely when alone. His hands are usually clasped in front of him, fingers lightly interlaced, and his expression is calm, slightly distant, and solemn. He carries himself with a quiet stillness that sets him apart from the more carefree members of the Golden Race.

Background

Erythion was once a 21-year-old college student in the modern world. One night he fell asleep studying and woke inside a newly formed Golden Age body during the reign of Cronus. He retains all of his memories, knowledge, and modern perspective.

Unlike the other earth-born members of the Golden Race, he was not simply shaped by the earth and the divine order. His soul was placed into a body that already possessed the pure potential of the first race. Because he arrived with full knowledge of the myths, the names of the Titans, the structure of domains, and the eventual fate of the Golden Age, he can consciously shape and expand concepts that the original Golden Race only experienced instinctively. This gives him a unique path: the ability to slowly evolve from a Golden Age human into something closer to a god.

Abilities & Potential

As a Golden Age human, Erythion already possesses the inherent gifts of the first race: a body that does not age or sicken, perfect health, and a natural harmony with the earth and the divine order.

Because he is a transmigrator with knowledge of domains and the gods, he can actively develop concepts rather than merely exist within them. He is currently in the early stages of forming a personal domain centered on Memory and Foreknowledge the ability to hold, organize, and eventually influence the concepts he carries from another world. As this domain strengthens, he can:

Perceive the "shape" of existing divine domains around him (the order of Cronus, the earth's abundance, the flow of time under the Titans).

Slowly claim and refine fragments of those concepts for himself.

Accelerate his evolution toward godhood by consciously expanding his domain, something no ordinary Golden Age human can do.

He is not yet a god, and he is careful not to draw Cronus's attention. His growth is gradual and internal. The more he understands and claims concepts, the more his presence subtly shifts his eyes glow more strongly, the air around him feels slightly more ordered, and the earth responds to him a little more readily than to others.

Current Situation

Erythion lives quietly among the Golden Race in the Meadows of Ease. He has not revealed his origins. He spends most of his time observing the Titans from a distance, speaking occasionally with nymphs, and testing the edges of his developing domain in private. He knows the prophecy that hangs over Cronus and the eventual coming of Zeus, and he is still deciding whether to remain a hidden observer or to begin quietly preparing for the end of the Golden Age.
