Ryuu walks into his home and sits down on the couch. He picks up the data slate and looks through the tabs on the screen. He can look at the growth of his operations, his military and the growth in size of the fort in real time. He checks the materials he has and finds that he has enough plasteel, ferocrete and steel for the building of a whole complex spanning at least 4 kilometers (2.4 miles) in diameter. He has enough war material in Valkyries, lasguns and astra militarum armor to equip at least 6 companies. The barracks was set to train or well produce troops of equal quality to the solar auxilia. He smirks and then goes to the tab that shows research. The tab shows the options of well everything from Warhammer 40k other than things from chaos. He saw better plasma, better las tech. Even drone tech from the tau. He sent a message to the Magos to build a research center and begin to research the tau drones.
(These drones will help not only keep my troops alive and up their lethality but also allow me to find survivors when the zombies finally come.) Ryuu wryly thinks to himself. He continues to wonder through the research tab until he finds the Astarte's project and to his surprise the primarch's which then lead to the emperor of mankind. He raises an eyebrow and clicks on it to see the description. It pops up on his screen and shows that he can make himself or someone else into a being like the emperor just without the psychic power. All the physical strength, speed and mental processing that exceeds primarch's. The cost of it though was staggering. The material requirements were enough to build a fleet of just Gloriana class ships. He notices that for anything related to the emperor, primarch's or anything related to them, he needed points to research them. He sat there stunned and just put the data slate away.
The next day he was walking to school with Rei and Takashi. He and Rei were talking as usual until a guy came running towards them. He was screaming about the end of the world and how the dead shall walk the earth again. Rei and Takashi just gave him a look of pity, while Ryuu understood more than anyone could truly understand.
The rest of the day went the same as the rest usually do. The only thing that changed was that he met the rest of the main characters. He became fast friends with them thanks to Rei and his own charm. The group hung out almost every weekend for the next year. They celebrated birthdays and even anniversaries of friendships. Which was Rei's idea. Rei and Ryuu got closer over the months. They were close enough for their friends to tease them that they were already married.
One day on Saturday while Ryuu and Rei were at Ryuu's house, he got up and went to his room. Rei looked at him confused. When he came back, he was holding a thin black case. He stopped Infront of her and opened the box. What Rei saw was a necklace that shown with bright, clear diamonds inlaid in a gold chain. The center piece was a big sapphire; the jewel was 6.5 mms and the jewel itself was of such quality that it must be worth several thousand or more. Rei, will you be my girlfriend? Ryuu asks her as he hands her the necklace. Rei gasps and brings her hands to her mouth, as tears begin to fall from her eyes.
She replies to his question with an enthusiastic yes. She hugs Ryuu and nearly crushes him. The next day they walk to school together, Rei is wearing her new necklace with pride and a smile that shines like the sun. They enter the school and meet their friends.
Oh Rei, is that a diamond necklace with a huge sapphire on your neck I see? Saya says. The rest of the group gasps and looks between Rei and Ryuu. So, what was the reason for this very eye-catching gift Ryuu? Saya asks. Well, I asked her to be my girlfriend and thought that I should give her a gift while I do it. Ryuu replies. With that the group of girls in the friend group squeal, other than Saeko. The only other boys look sour and advert their eyes as they fill with Jealousy.
