Queens. Gwen Stacy's Bedroom.
Gwen stared at the holographic diary floating above her bed.
"A God? An Asgardian God?"
She watched the video again. Thor, the mighty Prince of Thunder, felled by a single arrow.
"That's it?" Gwen whispered, her brow furrowing. "Lucas was right. 'Puny God' indeed."
"On the other hand," she noted, "Loki looks... formidable. Evil, yes. But stylish. And powerful."
"But seriously," Gwen sighed, twirling a strand of her own blonde hair. "What conditioner does Thor use? Even dead in the mud, his hair has volume."
Through Lucas's diary, Gwen was seeing a world she never knew existed. A world of gods, monsters, and magic. It was terrifying. And exhilarating.
"Will I really become Spider-Woman?" Gwen wondered, looking at her hands. "It sounds cool. But also... dangerous."
Meanwhile, in Lucas's Apartment.
Lucas was ecstatic.
He had no idea his video upload was causing existential crises for Tony, Fury, and Gwen. He was just happy about the loot.
[System Notification: Video Log Upload Complete.]
[Reward: 1x Silver Tier Draw.]
"Draw now?" The system asked.
"Hit me," Lucas grinned.
A massive roulette wheel appeared in his mind's eye. It spun so fast it was a blur of colors.
Tick. Tick. Tick. Tick...
The wheel slowed. It passed "Lifetime Supply of Pizza." It passed "100k Cash." It landed on a shimmering silver segment.
[Congratulations! Reward: Magic Resistance Physique (Superman Template - Basic).]
[Fuse Now?]
Lucas's jaw dropped.
"Yes!" he shouted. "Fuse it! Fuse it now!"
Superman had two main weaknesses. Kryptonite and Magic.
In the MCU, Kryptonite didn't exist (unless some multiverse shenanigans happened). But Magic? Magic was everywhere.
Doctor Strange. The Ancient One. Scarlet Witch. Loki. Odin.
"Thanos I can punch," Lucas thought. "But the Ancient One? She could push my astral form out of my body before I even blink."
"Physics I can handle. Metaphysics? Not so much."
But now...
A warm light enveloped him. It wasn't the burning heat of the sun. It was a cool, mystical energy that seeped into his bones.
He felt his cells changing. Evolving.
When he opened his eyes, the world looked different. He could see... threads. faint lines of energy weaving through the air. The mana of the universe.
[Magic Resistance: +1000%]
[Mana Affinity: Unlocked.]
[Solar Magic Conversion: Enabled.]
"I'm not just resistant," Lucas realized, feeling the power thrumming in his veins. "I'm a battery."
In the DC universe, Superman is vulnerable to magic because his biology is purely physical. But this "Magic Superman" template changed the game.
"My cells now absorb solar radiation and convert it into... bio-mana," Lucas marveled.
"I don't need to borrow power from dimensions like Strange does. I don't need to bargain with Dormammu. I don't need to pay the price."
"I am the source."
"I am a Solar Sorcerer."
He looked at his hand. A small spark of golden energy danced on his fingertip. It wasn't heat vision. It was raw magic.
"The only problem," Lucas muttered, extinguishing the spark. "I have zero spells."
"I have the mana of an Archmage, and the knowledge of a toddler."
"I have two options," Lucas strategized.
"Option A: Go to Kamar-Taj. Knock on the door. Ask the Ancient One to teach me."
Pros: Best teacher.
Cons: She might see through me. She might know I'm a Transmigrator. She might yeet me into the Mirror Dimension.
"Option B: Wait for the System to drop a Skill Book."
Pros: Safe. No awkward interviews.
Cons: RNG is a cruel mistress.
"For now," Lucas decided, walking to the window to bask in the afternoon sun. "I'll stick to option B. And maybe practice some basic energy blasts."
"With this upgrade," Lucas smiled, feeling invincible. "I have no more weaknesses."
"Come at me, Wizards."
