Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: Into the World of Jantix

Prashant and Umesh had gone deep into the forest—

far deeper than they should have.

Tall trees surrounded them, their thick branches blocking most of the sunlight. The air felt heavy, silent… uneasy.

Without thinking much, Prashant picked up a stone from the ground and threw it toward a nearby tree.

The stone flew through the air—

Thak!

A sharp sound echoed.

The next moment, chaos erupted.

The stone had struck a beehive.

A loud buzzing filled the air as a swarm of bees burst out and rushed straight toward them.

"Run!" Umesh shouted.

They sprinted in different directions, hearts pounding. The buzzing grew louder, closer. Branches scratched their arms, roots tripped their feet—but they didn't stop.

Then they saw it.

An ancient banyan tree stood before them.

They ran behind its massive trunk and froze, holding their breath.

The bees came close…

but strangely, they did not cross behind the banyan tree.

After circling for a while, the swarm slowly retreated into the forest.

Silence returned.

"That's strange…" Umesh whispered.

"Why didn't the bees come here?"

Prashant shrugged.

"How would I know?"

Exhausted and shaken, they sat down, leaning against the old banyan tree.

After some time, Umesh stood up and looked carefully around.

Then he noticed something above.

Between the thick branches of the banyan tree—

a strange blue light was spreading.

It wasn't still.

It was moving… as if it were alive.

"Prashant," Umesh said softly,

"Look up. Something's glowing."

"I'll check," Prashant replied.

He began climbing the tree.

As he went higher, the blue light became clearer.

It wasn't ordinary light—

it felt alive.

"There's a blue light up here," Prashant said.

"Come up too."

Umesh climbed after him.

But as soon as he reached the branch, he lost his balance.

His foot slipped.

"Prashant—!"

He fell straight toward the blue light.

Prashant grabbed his hand just in time.

For a moment, everything stopped.

Half of Umesh's body hung in the air.

One hand was in Prashant's grip—

But from the waist down,

his body was being pulled into the blue light.

The light was dragging him inside.

"Don't let go!" Umesh cried.

Suddenly, strong winds began to blow.

The branches shook violently.

Prashant started losing balance too.

"No—!"

In a single instant, everything changed.

To save himself—

Prashant's grip slipped.

Umesh didn't even get the chance to scream.

He was completely swallowed by the blue light.

The light shrank rapidly—

and then… silence.

Prashant barely managed to grab another branch.

But Umesh…

he was gone.

Panicking, Prashant jumped down.

"Umesh!"

No response.

He tried to run for help—

but the moment he moved away from the tree—

the bees returned.

Terrified, he rushed back to the banyan tree.

Time passed.

Evening…

then night.

There was no signal on his phone.

By midnight, the battery died.

Suddenly—

A sound came from the blue light.

Prashant's heart raced.

"Umesh…?"

He climbed the tree again.

Then—

A hand emerged from the blue light.

It grabbed Prashant's wrist.

The hand was freezing cold.

Its grip was unnaturally strong.

The blue light began to spin, pulling him inside.

Desperate and terrified, Prashant leaned forward and

bit down hard on the hand.

The grip loosened.

But it was too late.

The branch slipped.

Prashant fell.

As he fell, he closed his eyes.

Everything went silent.

And then—

He was somewhere else.
