"You know this is an audacious ask from me, not to mention that you're not even sure that this won't backfire." I was arguing with Gehrman over his new decision.
Although I was more amused then anything else… wow, I really have become Guy Crimson.
"If this backfires onto me then I promise that I will take full responsibility for their actions."
I lowered my tone to one of concern, "I don't care about whether you take responsibility. I just don't want to risk losing a promising surbordinate."
"I am touched Milord but I trust them with my life and would never let them go against me."

"Gehrman. I want you to think very, VERY carefully about how you answer my next question… do you believe that your judgement of them is clouded by personal bias and nepotism?"
There was a suffocating silence in the air but not because he was contemplating and answer to give him… but because he was angry.
"Milord, do not insult me like that, I'm not some idiot who would simply take in any poor soul that I come across in my life and I am not so fragile as to not be able to handle a betrayal in any way. Forgive me for my insolence Milord but the one thing I will not allow you to question is the judgement I have in my decisions."

I looked down at Gehrman in surprise and then, " HAHAHAHAHA!" I couldn't help but laugh, " That was quite the emotional outburst of yours."
Gehrman who had finally gotten his bearings together could only look down in shame, he knew that his majesty is too easy going to hold it against him but he still felt shame for doing it.
"Don't worry Gehrman, I know that those 4 won't betray you, their adoration for you is comparable to your loyalty towards me. Not to mention, I have never questioned your judgement before but people change, I had to make sure that your judgement of them hadn't become biased."
Gehrman sighed in relief that Pneuma hadn't lost faith in his abilities.
" Go to sleep Gehrman, they'll get those powers when they wake up."
Gehrman stepped into his onlocation bedroom while I spent the night sneaking into their rooms like a creep and doing spiritual surgery on all of them.
————Present time————
The proposal given to me by Gehrman was incredibly smart to further the reputation of Pneuma.
Currently there were four legions and species lying within Eden, that being the dragons, elementals, angels and demons.
Gehrman had an idea that we should split each legion in two, one half remains in Eden that continuously grows in power and numbers while the other half is in the cardinal world to act as a communications liaison that would control the respective forces in the cardinal world, for example the dragon legions liaison would respond to Necrozma as an assistant.
Since Gehrman is the personal liaison of Pneuma himself then the four of his companions would be the liaisons of his four legions.
I accepted in my mind but argued anyway to question him.
The surgery I did on them was to give them unique skills tailored to their respective legions. Each unique skill is on the level of an incomplete ultimate skill like chosen one.
For Gloria, I had supplemented her flesh into that closer to the angelic alignment, making her some sort of an incomplete angel.
The unique skill I gave her was called Archsaint. It utilizes the properties of spiritrons so that her natural attacks and physique will purify magicules. Now she has the perfect weapon to combat monsters. She was the liaison of the angels and will be under Kevin.
For Selene, she was the liaison for the elementals and she had evolved into a semi elemental lifeform.
Her unique skill is Contractor which allows her to communicate and fuse with elementals on command. She is under Orion at the moment.
For Silas, he became the liaison of the dragons and is currently under Necrozma. Silas probably had the biggest evolution.
It was just so a coincidence that Silas was a hybrid between a wolfman and lizard man lycanthrope. The surgery caused Silas to evolve into a dragon newt and was probably the strongest in raw power.
His unique skill was Carnage, a unique skill that combines all the intrinsic skills of the dragonewt to optimize and enrich raw strength.
For Kael, he became the liaison of demons and was currently under Yuura. He had evolved into a surmounter.
His unique skill is, like Silas's, combines all the intrinsic skills of the surmounters into one. The unique skill is Pallbearer, which allows for the complete control over his own biology and can even convert his cells into shadows to hide, this also allows him to devour someone else whole and transform them into ghouls or wights, or just convert them to magicules.
The rest of them were currently training under their new respective masters, all except for Kael who was familising himself with the rest of the demons because Yuura was here with me, "Is there something wrong Master?"
"No, your call here should be obvious. Seven out of eight of my Lords are awakened divine beings. Before I do this, I believe I have to ask-"
"I'll do it." Yuura spoke spastically with desperation.
"You didn't even think about it."
"I don't have to, even if it means moving heaven and earth, I will do it for you. You are my idol and my god and the one I believe will lead the age of mankind into the future." Yuura was on her knees and holding her hands together almost like someone gave him reverant prays.
Her glazing of me made me flustered to an unprecedented degree, "Ok, please stop this." Let's just get on with the process.
I strapped her up and pressed that tantilizing big red button.
