The blonde little girl was named Emma Grace, the younger sister of Silver Fox Karla. Her powers were *Telepathy* and *Diamond Transformation*. Apart from her age, her name and abilities were strikingly similar to White Queen Emma's, making her essentially the second generation of the White Queen.
She had stayed behind because she wanted to rescue her sister, Silver Fox, and she also knew some inside information about the Three Mile Island Base.
This was thanks to her *Telepathy*.
However, the base's *Mental Interference Device* had suppressed her abilities, leaving her trapped.
Victor, now recovered, searched the dungeon thoroughly but still couldn't find his beloved younger brother, growing increasingly agitated. "Logan's scent is here, but he's not here."
When Victor grew anxious, his hands itched to tear something apart.
*Probably a common trait among felines!*
"Logan was taken by Stryker. I know where he is."
Loli Emma, who appeared to be only eleven or twelve years old, looked surprisingly mature and calm as she led Han Shaoqing and the others.
At that moment, the base was invaded, and alarms blared throughout the facility. Guards in other areas immediately went on high alert and quickly mobilized.
In the experimental zone:
"I didn't expect them to arrive so soon! We're so close!"
Watching the nearly completed Weapon X, Logan, Stryker clenched his fist and barked orders to his subordinates: "Activate the Sentinel Robots. Evacuate non-combat personnel through the secret tunnels."
Logan was the 10th Weapon X, a creation of Stryker's.
The first nine mutants had all failed the experiment, dying gruesomely on the operating table. Logan had endured the longest and was the most promising candidate for success.
If Logan succeeded, Stryker could extract his genes, create more Weapon X weapons, and realize his dream.
"Logan!"
The woman beside Stryker was Silver Fox Karla, Logan's current girlfriend.
She had been forced to help Stryker control Logan after her sister, Emma, was captured.
Now, seeing her lover enduring inhuman torture, Karla's heart ached with helplessness.
Her own ability was a form of telepathy, but it was weak. She could only control others through physical contact.
Stryker was an ambitious military man and a brilliant scientist. Though his research into Mutants was relatively recent, it was both thorough and fanatical.
Like Sebastian Shaw, he was an extremist, but his stance was pro-humanity. He believed all Mutants should be eradicated to secure humanity's dominance.
For this goal, he would stop at nothing.
Stryker had long been wary of Kara, never allowing her to get close enough to touch him.
Now, he was anxious, racing against time. More than anyone, he wanted Logan to survive the experiment.
Below, Logan lay naked on the operating table, completely submerged in chilled water. Needles pierced his body, injecting liquid Adamantium.
The original Adamantium metal had to remain molten until use; once cooled, it became indestructible and impossible to reshape.
To complete the Weapon X experiment, the Adamantium must remain boiling. Liquid Adamantium required temperatures in the hundreds of degrees Celsius, far beyond human tolerance.
Even as a Mutant with a Healing Factor, Logan needed to be submerged in cooling water to regulate his temperature.
Yet, the process of injecting molten Adamantium into his body, completely encasing his bones, remained a torment rivaling the Ten Great Tortures of the Qing Dynasty.
Logan's body convulsed uncontrollably. Had he not been restrained, he would have long since broken free.
By now, the experiment was nearing its conclusion. Liquid Adamantium flowed into Logan's body, spreading along his bones and solidifying as it cooled.
Logan's body temperature soared past 200 degrees Celsius, his heart rate skyrocketing. Under such conditions, an ordinary person would have died long ago. Only Logan's Healing Factor allowed him to cling to life.
Endless agony spread through his body as over a century of memories flashed through his mind like a kaleidoscope. His consciousness began to blur.
When the Adamantium had fully encased all of Logan's bones, he could endure no more. He collapsed into unconsciousness, his heart stopping.
Meanwhile, without the Mental Interference Device, Loli Emma's Telepathy could now sense Stryker's thoughts.
"Stryker is experimenting on Logan, and it's reached the final stage. Once successful, he'll erase Logan's memories and turn him into a monster specifically designed to hunt Mutants!"
At that moment, Emma could have easily used her Telepathy to control Stryker and kill him. She was even planning to do so.
Stryker didn't see Mutants as human beings at all, subjecting them to all sorts of cruel and inhumane experiments.
During her imprisonment, fear and resentment had filled her heart, nearly driving her to the brink of collapse.
"Calm down. He's still useful for now. Keep an eye on him and make sure he doesn't escape. I'll avenge you."
Han Shaoqing's voice reached her, and the murderous intent in Loli Emma's eyes instantly vanished.
She still held a certain reverence for Han Shaoqing.
First, because he had saved her and the other Mutants.
Second, because she had discovered that her Telepathy had no effect on him.
"Oh no, Logan's consciousness is weakening. He might not hold on much longer."
Sensing Logan's fading consciousness, Loli Emma felt a pang of emotion.
Through her Telepathy, she had already discovered that Logan was her brother-in-law. Now that he was dying, how heartbroken her sister would be!
"What? Logan can't die! He can't die!"
Hearing that his brother was on the verge of death, Victor blurted out Logan's nickname in desperation, then sprinted down the corridor, rounded the corner, and followed the scent toward the laboratory.
*Bang! Bang! Bang!*
A series of crashes rang out, followed by Victor being sent flying out, his face bruised and swollen.
Heavy footsteps echoed as a four-meter-tall robot materialized before Han Shaoqing and the others.
It was a first-generation Sentinel Robot.
Sentinel Robots had first appeared in *X-Men: Days of Future Past*, in 1973. Their appearance here, a decade early, was clearly the result of a butterfly effect.
"You rusty bucket of bolts! I'll tear you apart!"
Victor, unaware of what a Sentinel Robot was and desperate to save his brother, immediately unsheathed his claws and charged forward again.
Though this first-generation model was even less refined than the ones in *X-Men: Days of Future Past*, it was still made of steel. While no match for Magneto, it held a distinct advantage against a purely physical warrior like Victor.
