Chapter 116 - Brother Zong Takes the Blame

"Red Devil, take them back to Skull Island and settle them in. I have some other matters to attend to."

Hearing Han Shaoqing's command, Red Devil didn't hesitate. He teleported away with Victor, Logan, Kara, and Emma.

Watching Red Devil depart, Han Shaoqing considered whether to deal with the old man.

Though Red Devil now obeyed his every command, he was still a cunning, millennia-old being who was likely plotting something in the shadows. Moreover, his resistance to Telepathy made it impossible to know what he was thinking. Han Shaoqing had a nagging feeling this old fox would cause trouble.

"Never mind. I'll deal with this first."

With a thought, Han Shaoqing materialized above the nuclear power plant, observing the chaotic scene below. His gaze locked onto a helicopter taking off.

Activating his gravity field, the helicopter suddenly plummeted, exploding in a fiery blast that lit up the sky. The fleeing scientists were ultimately caught in Han Shaoqing's deadly grip, all perishing in the inferno.

"Fire!"

"Kill this monster!"

The guards spotted Han Shaoqing and opened fire wildly.

"You'll all die with me!"

Facing the guards' attack, Han Shaoqing slowly raised the Hand of Destruction and activated the divine power of Demeter.

Demeter, one of the Twelve Olympian Gods, possessed boundless magical power. She could bring forth fertile land, lush vegetation, and abundant harvests, but also cause the earth to wither, all life to perish, and not a blade of grass to grow. She could grant endless wealth or reduce a household to utter poverty.

She presided over agriculture, grain, fruits, harvest, and the earth itself.

Han Shaoqing controlled the power of the earth. The moment he unleashed his divine power, the earth itself seemed to come alive, instantly engulfing everyone.

Not a single soul survived on Three Mile Island.

A sudden silence fell over the world.

Glancing at the helicopter wreckage, Han Shaoqing raised his hand, and three intact metal briefcases flew out from the wreckage.

Through the memories extracted from Stryker's mind, Han Shaoqing knew what the cases contained.

One held twenty vials of X-Gene, extracted from Mutants.

Another contained related research data.

These materials had been developed through brutal experiments, at the cost of countless Mutant lives, and were indispensable to Weapon X.

The third case, heavier than the others, contained Adamantium.

Adamantium is one of the hardest metals on Earth, even harder than Vibranium. Weapons forged from this metal can even injure deities.

Like Vibranium, Adamantium originates from meteorites that fall to Earth.

It's as if Earth has a mysterious gravitational pull, constantly drawing in all sorts of things, both good and bad.

Sometimes Han Shaoqing wants to lead an expedition into space, but the time isn't right yet. Without interstellar maps and few subordinates capable of surviving in the vacuum of space, such a venture is impossible.

He'll wait until spaceship technology matures before venturing into the cosmos.

After storing the three crates in the Sea God's Ring and gazing at the nuclear power plant below, Han Shaoqing, ever the pragmatist, cast the Summoning Art to call forth the slumbering Godzilla.

A massive magic circle materialized in the void, and the colossal creature emerged. The moment its feet touched the ground, it created a crater that shook Three Mile Island violently.

This was Godzilla's first summoning, and the groggy "Brother Zong" had no idea what was happening.

He had been sleeping soundly in the Kong's Temple within the Hollow Earth when he was suddenly teleported here. Without hesitation, he let out a roar.

"ROAR~"

A roar shook the wilderness, and waves of energy surged, showcasing the king's overwhelming might. Scanning his surroundings, he found no worthy opponent.

"Big Brother, there are no enemies here. I just called you over for a meal."

Han Shaoqing sent a Mind Transmission to calm Brother Zong, who was still groggy from waking up.

Sensing the intense radiation, Godzilla's eyes lit up. "Good brother, then I won't stand on ceremony."

Hearing it wasn't a fight but a meal, Brother Zong restrained his aura.

Since the Olympus God-Slaying War, Brother Zong had never fully recovered.

Theoretically, Godzilla was still in a weakened state. After all, destroying an entire pantheon was no simple feat.

Zeus, hailed as the king of the gods, rivaled Odin in status and even subtly surpassed him, a true Skyfather-level being.

One could only imagine the overwhelming power and terror Godzilla displayed when he swept through Mount Olympus.

According to Han Shaoqing's estimation, Brother Zong's current strength was less than one-tenth of his peak.

This wasn't due to unhealed injuries—the G-Cells had long since mended his external wounds.

The primary reason was the immense energy expenditure and the sealing efforts Zeus had made with his last reserves.

Han Shaoqing could do nothing about this, only encourage Brother Zong to replenish his energy and recover gradually.

Brother Zong, however, remained indifferent. He was the type to be slow to anger but quick to rage.

Normally, he was like a shut-in, eating and sleeping, and as long as the natural balance wasn't disturbed, he could stay indoors for millennia without moving a muscle.

But if anyone dared to provoke him, their pre-prepared coffins would be useless.

One blast of Atomic Breath would turn them to dust.

Facing the "all-you-can-eat buffet" right in front of him, Godzilla showed no courtesy to Han Shaoqing. With a single swipe of his claw, he tore through the surrounding buildings and began devouring the nuclear power plant.

By the time Brother Zong had eaten his fill, the nuclear power plant was completely ruined.

During this time, Han Shaoqing also absorbed some radiation to strengthen himself. Having previously copied Godzilla's abilities with the Red of All Living Beings, he naturally possessed the ability to absorb nuclear energy.

In a sense, Han Shaoqing had long since transcended humanity.

Even strengthening oneself came at a price. This was an inevitable transformation. Human limitations were finite; truly powerful beings had essentially shed the constraints of humanity.

After absorbing all the radiation from Three Mile Island, rendering it useless, Han Shaoqing used Mind Transmission to return with Godzilla to the Hollow Earth.

With nothing left to do, Godzilla resumed his slumber.

Han Shaoqing, however, left the Divine Temple and ventured into the outside world, casually collecting some Inner Earth ore and storing it in the Sea God's Ring.

The world erupted in shock once again when Han Shaoqing, while Godzilla was absorbing nuclear energy, casually snapped a few photos and "accidentally" left his camera behind.

By the time American agents arrived at Three Mile Island, the nuclear power plant was reduced to ruins, still burning in many places, with no survivors.

Through the footprints on the ground and the photos in the camera, the case was solved swiftly!

Monarch stepped forward to announce the attacker: Godzilla.

As for the motive? Simple gluttony.

This infuriated and astonished American leaders.

*A single meal destroyed the entire nuclear power plant! No amount of money could withstand such reckless destruction!*

Yet they were helpless. They didn't want to indulge Godzilla, but the creature was either in the Hollow Earth or at the bottom of the Pacific Ocean—pumping water was impossible.

And if they truly provoked Godzilla, what could they possibly use to fight it?

In the end, they had to cut their losses, publicly claiming an accident at the nuclear power plant. All personnel were presumed dead, but thankfully, the government's swift response prevented a major nuclear disaster.

Han Shaoqing, secretly enjoying the show, just smiled.

*That's right, he deliberately framed Godzilla.*

*Brother Zong's back is so broad—it would be a shame not to let him carry a few more burdens!*

*Besides, Brother Zong wouldn't care. Drawing attention might even ease tensions between humans and Mutants.*

By the time Brother Zong woke up next, most of those who knew the "truth" would likely be dead anyway.
