As Han Shaoqing silently claimed his reward, an ancient wooden mask materialized in his hand.
Simultaneously, a massive, mysterious bronze gate appeared deep within his soul, radiating an otherworldly glow.
He casually stowed the [Ancient Mask] into the [Sea God Ring] and studied the [Bronze Gate of Myriad Worlds] for a moment. He then turned and walked away, careful not to leave any footprints on Odin and Frigga's heads.
The [Bronze Gate of Myriad Worlds] was truly divine. Even Han Shaoqing, with his current power, couldn't fathom its full potential.
While the [Omega Beam] was a multiversal-level ability that could traverse time and space, its range was still limited to the Multiverse. No matter how far it jumped, it was still just bouncing around within the Marvel Universe.
The [Bronze Gate of Myriad Worlds] was different. It was a gateway to new worlds, transcending the Multiverse on a level that even a "Beyonder" couldn't achieve. It was like breaking the fourth wall, allowing one to escape the original framework of the Marvel Universe.
Han Shaoqing was in a great mood after several successful check-ins, each yielding impressive items.
Strolling out of Odin's bedchamber, he sealed the entire palace shut right in front of the guards.
The guards were bewildered. "Your Highness, what are you doing?"
Han Shaoqing glanced at them. "Sealing the palace."
"But the Heavenly Empress is still inside!" a guard exclaimed.
Han Shaoqing's voice turned cold. "The Heavenly Empress is accompanying the God King in his slumber. No one is to disturb them. From this moment on, I am the King of Asgard. Do you have any objections?"
"N-no objections."
The guard's face went pale as he met Han Shaoqing's icy gaze, a shiver of dread running down his spine.
Now that "Loki" was the King of Asgard, they had no choice but to obey.
Back at the Golden Palace, Han Shaoqing pondered where else he could check in.
Asgard possessed the Bifrost, the gateway to the Nine Realms, which gave him a wealth of options.
The events of *Thor 1* were just beginning, and Earth was relatively quiet. He had plenty of time to check in across the Nine Realms.
With the seal in place, Odin and Frigga wouldn't be able to escape their bedchamber.
The real Loki had fallen into the abyss. Even if he survived, he wouldn't be able to return to Asgard anytime soon. As for Thor, without Loki's "assistance" in the form of a catalyst, he wouldn't be able to lift Mjolnir for several years.
Moreover, without the Bifrost, even if Thor regained his power, he wouldn't be able to return to Asgard.
After a moment's thought, Han Shaoqing instructed the Asgardian guards to summon the Three Warriors of Asgard and Sif.
The Three Warriors of Asgard were Hogun, Volstagg, and Fandral.
Sif was Thor's fiancée, the Norse goddess of earth and harvest, and also Asgard's most famous female warrior.
Before long, the three men and one woman gathered in the Golden Palace, reluctantly bowing to "Loki" on the throne.
"Greetings, Your Majesty!"
Han Shaoqing looked at the four of them.
Sif was Heimdall's sister, and she had been a childhood playmate of Thor and Loki.
Like most Asgardians, Sif was born with a head of golden hair.
However, during her teenage years, Loki decided to play a prank on her, as she seemed to prefer Thor's company over his.
So, while Sif was asleep, Loki cut off all her golden hair.
After discovering her hair was gone, Sif's weeping echoed throughout the capital of Asgard.
Loki knew he would be punished for this, so he rushed to the Dwarf Realm to commission a set of pure gold hair as compensation for Sif. The dwarves agreed, but the fickle Loki secretly prepared to break the contract.
Loki did indeed steal the hair and gave it to Sif. On her head, it grew as naturally as real hair and shone even more brilliantly than before. However, because the dwarves had not applied a special potion before Loki stole it, the hair began to darken, eventually turning completely black.
When Sif began to cry again, her parents, weary of her vanity, sent her away to train in combat and become a warrior maiden.
Years later, she returned to Asgard. Now a warrior, Sif had accepted her black hair. Her first order of business was to find Loki and give him a sound thrashing.
The All-Father Odin had long wanted Sif to be the spouse of his son and heir, Thor, and had arranged their betrothal. Thus, Sif was the fiancée of Thor, the God of Thunder.
Fandral is a nobleman of the Aesir who has lived in Asgard since childhood. With blond hair, blue eyes, and a neat mustache, he is a man who cherishes adventure and freedom, priding himself on his romantic nature. He is a master swordsman.
He once clashed with Volstagg, but the two bonded through their conflict and quickly became close friends. Later, they met Hogun, and the three formed an inseparable brotherhood, often fighting alongside Thor, Loki, and Sif.
Fandral considers himself a perfect man, highly desirable to women, and is frequently seen surrounded by young ladies. In reality, however, his popularity with them is not as high as he imagines. Still, his humorous, witty, and silver-tongued nature has won him some affection from the fairer sex.
Volstagg is the eldest of the Three Warriors. He is portly, with a thick, bushy beard. In his youth, he was known as Asgard's strongest warrior and the Lion of Asgard, possessing immeasurable strength. However, as he aged, he grew stout, and his movements became clumsy.
Volstagg is kind-hearted and the most respected of the Three Warriors. Despite his current portly figure, he remains a formidable fighter, proficient in all weapons and unarmed combat. He wields a massive hammer and has a voracious appetite.
Hogun, who resembles a man from the Island Nation, is not a true Asgardian warrior. He was born far from Asgard, though his homeland maintained close ties with the city.
Tragically, his nation was later slaughtered by enemies, and Hogun was the sole survivor. He swore to avenge his people with his own hands.
Thor arrived with Volstagg and Fandral to reinforce him, and the four of them ultimately defeated the enemy. Afterward, Hogun swore a blood oath of brotherhood with Thor, Volstagg, and Fandral.
Hogun is the coolest and most hot-tempered of the Three Warriors. In battle, he is often the calmest, showing no mercy to his foes.
Although Hogun was not born in Asgard, he still possessed a powerful physique. He was skilled in mounted archery and proficient in close-quarters combat. He also knew a certain type of magic, though he was very unskilled in its use.
The Three Warriors of Asgard and Sif shared another common trait: they all loved Thor and hated Loki.
It had to be said that Loki was a failure as a person.
But what did hating Loki have to do with Han Shaoqing?
After the four of them arrived, Han Shaoqing spoke in Loki's voice: "I just went to Midgard and saw Thor."
Hearing that Loki had gone to the human world to see Thor, the Three Warriors of Asgard and Sif all felt a pang of anxiety.
They had always hated Loki. Before, they had even pleaded with Loki, the acting king, to bring Thor back to Asgard.
But Loki had shown no regard for his brother's feelings and rejected their proposal.
In the eyes of the Three Warriors and Sif, Loki was afraid that Thor would seize his power. He had originally planned to secretly go to Midgard to bring Thor back to Asgard, but they never expected Loki to get there first.
Sif waited for Loki (Han Shaoqing): "How is Thor?"
