Seeing Sif and the others' tense expressions, Han Shaoqing said calmly, "He's doing great. He even found a girlfriend here in Midgard."
"You're lying!" Sif exclaimed, her voice trembling with emotion. She was Thor's fiancée, after all.
Thor had only been banished to the mortal realm by Odin for a few days. How could he have already found a girlfriend? What did that make her, his fiancée?
This had to be one of Loki's cruel jokes.
"You should be grateful," Han Shaoqing said, his words carrying a double meaning. "At least he's only looking for a girlfriend."
Fandral didn't dwell on Thor's new relationship. Instead, he asked cautiously, "Your Majesty the King, what did you talk to Thor about?"
Han Shaoqing replied in Loki's tone, "To test Thor, I told him that All-Father Odin died of anger and that the Queen of Heaven was utterly disappointed in him. I said Asgard had sentenced him to eternal exile."
Volstagg roared in anger, "How could you do such a thing?"
Hogun added, "You're lying."
"I am lying," Han Shaoqing admitted, "but it was a necessary lie. Only when Thor truly repents will he be worthy of Mjolnir's recognition."
Han Shaoqing looked at the four in the hall. "You all want Thor to return to Asgard, don't you? I've given him a chance. If he can prove himself worthy of Mjolnir again, he can return."
"..."
Though Loki's words seemed reasonable, Sif and the others couldn't bring themselves to believe he could be so kind.
But he was the King of Asgard now. To openly defy his orders would be treason.
The four shared a silent understanding and exchanged glances, reaching a decision.
"We thank Your Majesty for your grace," Sif said. "If there is nothing else, we shall take our leave."
"You may go," Han Shaoqing waved them away.
Sif, Hogun, and the others left the Golden Palace and went to Volstagg's home.
Sif turned to Fandral and the others. "Do you believe Loki's words?"
"He's a liar," Fandral declared. "I don't trust a single word he says."
Hogun remained silent but nodded in agreement.
Volstagg, oblivious to the tension, pulled out a pile of meat and started eating.
Fandral, seeing this, said with some displeasure, "Our best friend has been banished, Loki has seized power in the chaos, and Asgard is on the brink of war. Yet you still have the leisure to eat here. I'm truly ashamed for you. Do you not care at all?"
Volstagg replied, his voice muffled by food, "Don't mistake my healthy appetite for indifference."
"Loki has been acting strange today. I'm worried he'll make a move against Thor. Sif..."
Fandral turned to Sif and saw her furiously sharpening her sword. "We must leave."
Looking at Sif's posture, Fandral wasn't sure if she intended to go rescue Thor or stab him.
Hogun spoke up, "We're going to find Thor."
"That's treason," Fandral worried.
Volstagg added solemnly, "Not just treason, but suicide."
"If it were Thor, he would come looking for us," Sif said, sheathing her sword, her gaze turning dangerous.
"Keep your voices down," Volstagg warned. "Heimdall might be watching us."
The door was pushed open by an Asgardian guard. "Heimdall wishes to see you."
"We're doomed!" Volstagg spread his hands in resignation.
A moment later, the Three Warriors of Asgard and Sif passed through the Bifrost and entered the teleportation chamber.
Heimdall stood at the center, his gaze fixed on the four of them. "You dare defy King Loki's orders? You would break every oath you swore as warriors, committing treason just to bring Thor back?"
"Yes," the Three Warriors and Sif replied in unison.
"Very well."
Heimdall stepped down from the dais.
Sif looked at him. "You'll help us, won't you?"
"I must remain loyal to the King," Heimdall declared. "I cannot open the Bridge."
With that, he turned and strode out of the teleportation chamber.
Fandral watched Heimdall's departing figure and muttered, "He's an impenetrable man."
"What do we do now?" Volstagg asked.
Sif turned and saw that the Bifrost Steel Sword had already been plunged into the teleportation array's focal point. It erupted with countless bolts of lightning, and the Bifrost's teleportation portal swung open.
"Let's go."
The Three Warriors of Asgard and Sif, overjoyed, traveled through the spatial portal opened by the Bifrost to Earth.
After the four of them departed, Heimdall returned to the teleportation chamber. With a flash of light, he instantly transformed into Han Shaoqing.
"What a bunch of disobedient fools."
Shaking his head slightly, Han Shaoqing pulled out the Bifrost Steel Sword and closed the teleportation portal.
From the very beginning, Han Shaoqing knew the Three Warriors of Asgard and Sif wouldn't stay quiet. After monitoring their conversation, he simply went with the flow, transforming into Heimdall's likeness and letting them trick him into going to Earth, rather than staying behind and causing trouble.
As for the real Heimdall, Han Shaoqing had already sealed him and thrown him into Odin's bedchamber to keep him company.
"Summon Dominion."
As the words fell, a flash of light appeared. Immediately after, a tall, black-haired beauty wearing a black skintight suit, a black cape, and a mask appeared before Han Shaoqing.
"Boss."
Dominion bowed to Han Shaoqing.
As a biological weapon created by Zor-El, Dominion possessed astonishing destructive power and a bloodthirsty nature that made her utterly terrifying.
Han Shaoqing looked at Dominion, thinking she was quite a beauty—at least according to his tastes. Her black super-suit gave her a unique, striking allure.
Dominion was also known as Sovereign. She could be considered a corrupted version of Supergirl, possessing all the powers of a Kryptonian and far surpassing the average one in strength.
Her abilities included: Invulnerability, X-ray Vision, Heat Vision, Super Strength, Super Speed, Telescopic Vision, Freeze Breath, Super Hearing, Super Regeneration, Super Intelligence, and Super Vision.
In *Supergirl 3*, Dominion could utterly crush Supergirl in a one-on-one fight.
At the same time, she shared the Kryptonians' weakness: Kryptonite. The Harun-El Stone from Krypton could even kill her directly.
However, in the Marvel Universe, no one but Han Shaoqing possessed Kryptonite, let alone the Harun-El Stone.
According to Han Shaoqing's estimation, Dominion's current strength was no less than that of a Sub-Skyfather level, and she still had considerable room for growth.
Her power would steadily increase as long as she basked in the sun.
"From now on, you will be responsible for guarding the Bifrost."
Han Shaoqing handed the Bifrost Steel Sword to Dominion, appointing her to take over Heimdall's position.
Now that Han Shaoqing had taken Heimdall's place, he was officially the King of Asgard in the eyes of the public. Appointing Dominion to succeed Heimdall was a simple matter of a single command.
"I am honored to serve you."
Because she was a creation of the System, Dominion would never show her claws to Han Shaoqing, despite her bloodlust and violent nature. Upon receiving his order, she took the Bifrost Steel Sword and stood guard in the teleportation chamber.
While her super-vision and super-hearing might not be enough to observe all Nine Realms, nothing within a single realm could escape her notice.
By the time Han Shaoqing left the teleportation chamber, he had already transformed back into Loki. Holding Gungnir, he returned to the Golden Palace.

Meanwhile, the Three Warriors of Asgard and Sif arrived on Earth. The energy from the Bifrost's teleportation was detected by S.H.I.E.L.D.'s energy scanners.
"What was that?" Coulson asked.
"Don't know, sir. We picked up a massive energy signature, then it vanished immediately. It was fifteen miles to the northwest," a bald agent reported.
This agent was actually a Hydra operative. S.H.I.E.L.D. had long been infiltrated by Hydra, with two-thirds of its personnel now serving the organization. In fact, S.H.I.E.L.D. and Hydra were practically the same, the only difference being that Hydra's methods were more radical—and they were getting paid double for the same job.
"Let's go check it out."
Coulson immediately led his team to the site. At the same time, he called Iron Man, Tony Stark, hoping he could come and assist.
In a remote town, the released Thor followed his girlfriend, Jane, back to her home.
The Thor of this moment had shed all his Asgardian arrogance and recklessness. He looked like an ordinary man, even making breakfast for Jane and her father. With a towel draped over his shoulder and a gentle smile on his face, anyone who didn't know better would have mistaken him for a trained waiter from a nearby diner.
This was probably a precious scene from the early days of humanity domesticating the wild God of Thunder!
