Chapter 153 - Odin's Vault

 The Golden Palace of Asgard.

The massive palace was the tallest building in Asgard.

Han Shaoqing had dispatched ten of Loki's trusted subordinates and ten Asgardian warriors whose memories he had altered to guard Odin's bedchamber. With these warriors present, it was guaranteed that the sealed Odin, Frigga, and Heimdall would not be disturbed by the outside world.

Now, *World Killer.Dominion* was responsible for guarding the Bifrost, so there was no need to worry about Thor and his allies returning to cause trouble.

In fact, even if Thor and the others did return, Han Shaoqing did not believe they could pose any real threat to him. At most, they would just cause some unnecessary trouble. If he didn't think Thor had some cultivation value, Han Shaoqing could have reduced him to ash with a single Omega Beam.

While the Handsome Boy on Earth lifted Mjolnir and transformed into the Thunder God, Han Shaoqing had already begun to loot Odin's Vault.

In his youth, Odin was an absolute tyrant. He and his eldest daughter, Hela, had waged war across the Nine Realms, slaughtering countless foes and collecting a vast amount of spoils.

The treasures stored in Odin's Vault all possessed extraordinary power. Any single one of them could cause chaos among mortals.

For example, the **Eternal Flame** is like a Marvel-version "Revival Coin," and it can also be used for super-enchantments.

In *Thor: Ragnarok*, Hela used the Eternal Flame to resurrect her army and the giant wolf Fenrir.

Surtur, the Fire Giant, was also resurrected through the Eternal Flame, triggering Ragnarok and causing the destruction of Asgard.

In fact, the Eternal Flame was originally Surtur's treasure. Odin, in his prime, stole it from him and stored it in his vault to prevent Ragnarok from occurring.

The fire in this basin never goes out. Just as Asgard is the source of Hela's power, the Eternal Flame is the source of Surtur's power, symbolizing both destruction and rebirth.

There is also a replica, right-handed version of the **Infinity Gauntlet**. Long ago, Odin had the idea of collecting the **Infinity Stones** and even had the King of the Dwarves forge a gauntlet for him. However, due to the intervention of the **Celestials**, he ultimately abandoned the plan.

This gauntlet is actually quite similar to the Infinity Gauntlet in Thanos's hand, but without the **Infinity Stones**, it's just a decorative piece.

The **Casket of Ancient Winters** is a treasure of the Frost Giants that can instantly freeze an entire planet.

The [Orb of Agamotto] is similar to the [Eye of Agamotto] held by Doctor Strange. It can detect various crises and magical sources throughout the universe. Odin even predicted the coming of Ragnarok through it.

The [Tablet of Life] hails from the lost Continent of Atlantis on Earth. This tablet is inscribed with the evolutionary equation of life.

Anyone who can decipher this equation will possess super-strong combat power and infinite wisdom.

The [Eye of the Sorcerer] can foresee the future and dispel all illusions or dark forces. Odin's father, Bor, once used the [Eye of the Sorcerer] to counter the Dark Elves' [Reality Stone].

Finally, there is the [Destroyer Armor]. Forged from Asgard's Uru metal, it is nearly indestructible and can destroy all known matter.

The Destroyer is an armored robot that can be autonomously or remotely controlled. Its energy is derived from Odin and other Earth gods. Its face can fire continuous high-temperature beams that can melt almost any substance, and it can also transform.

In his prime, Odin once donned the [Destroyer Armor] to fight the Celestials head-on, demonstrating its extraordinary power.

In *Thor 1*, Thor regained his divine power and shattered the [Destroyer Armor]. This was likely Odin secretly holding back; otherwise, Thor would have been completely crushed.

After a quick tour, Han Shaoqing stored all the treasures from [Odin's Vault] into his [Ring of Neptune].

Since he was already here, Han Shaoqing had no intention of leaving empty-handed.

After all, Odin had plundered most of these items from elsewhere. Now, Han Shaoqing was simply taking them from Odin's vault.

The question is: does stealing from a thief constitute a crime?

Of course it does.

But the name "Outlaw Zhang San" isn't just for show!

Besides, what does Zhang San breaking the law have to do with me, Han Shaoqing?

With these treasures in his hands, Han Shaoqing felt he could at least put them to good use, rather than letting them gather dust in the vault.

He had even already planned how to distribute them.

First, the [Infinity Gauntlet] was a bit too large and didn't fit him. He could give it to Handsome Boy; even without the [Infinity Stones], it would make a decent boxing glove.

Han Shaoqing could have used his [Transformation Bracelet] to change the size of the [Infinity Gauntlet], but he felt that was unnecessary.

The [Orb of Agamotto] and the [Eye of the Sorcerer] both contained many ancient spells. These could be brought back to the Hollow Earth for those with magical talent to study, strengthening their magical reserves.

Scarlet Witch Wanda, Jean the Phoenix, Professor X Charles, Storm Ororo, and Han Shaoqing could all learn from them.

After all, knowledge is power, and one must keep learning throughout their life. Only by constantly progressing can one keep pace with the times.

He would keep the [Casket of Ancient Winters] for himself.

As for the [Tablet of Life], it was originally a treasure of Atlantis, so he would take it back and give it to Mera to study.

Han Shaoqing planned to carry the [Eternal Flame] with him at all times. This thing could serve as a resurrection tool and an enchanting fire, capable of strengthening various weapons, which was very practical.

The [Destroyer Armor] was also quite good—it could both attack and defend—but it contained Odin's secret arts. Before it was fully cracked, Han Shaoqing could use [Gungnir] to control it, but he wouldn't wear it.

As for whether stealing these items would affect the plot of [Thor: Ragnarok] and subsequent events, Han Shaoqing didn't care in the slightest.

After sweeping Odin's Vault clean, Han Shaoqing stepped outside and heard a commotion of noise and chaos.

It turned out that the Frost Giants of Jotunheim were attacking Asgard.

This was because Asgard's high-end combatants—Odin, Frigga, Thor, the Warriors Three, Sif, Loki, and Heimdall—had either been sealed by Han Shaoqing or exiled.

Asgard's defenses were now exceptionally weak. Laufey had previously struck a deal with Loki to assassinate Odin, but after waiting endlessly for Loki's signal, he decided to take matters into his own hands. He led a massive army of Frost Giants through a hidden spatial portal and stormed Asgard.

The Asgardian warriors were now fighting to hold back the Frost Giant army.

Jotunheim, one of the Nine Worlds in Norse mythology, is the homeland of the Mountain Giants and Frost Giants. In stark contrast to Asgard's prosperity, Jotunheim is a harsh land of jagged rocks, sheer cliffs, and desolate forests.

The Giants who dwell there are the sworn enemies of the gods. Towering and savage, they possess terrifying forms and are supported by legions of monstrous beasts in battle. Their invasion of Asgard was driven not only by an ancient blood feud but also by a desire to seize the wealthiest of the Nine Realms.
