Tony approached Whiplash, his voice calm.
The entire War Machine armor was paralyzed, leaving Whiplash unable to move. He lifted his faceplate.
"I don't need your lecture, Stark. Drop the act. If your friend hadn't intervened, you'd be down in hell right now, apologizing to my father!"
"Actually, I'm the one who reminded him how to deal with you. I saw the flaws in your armor. In the end, my knowledge defeated you—just like my father defeated yours!"
"You don't deserve to mention my father!"
Ivan Vanko spat viciously on the ground, a gesture of contempt toward Tony Stark.
Qin Xiao twirled his Tang Dao, preparing to finish Whiplash off with a single strike. He had no patience for their pointless bickering.
But Rhode's cry for help interrupted him again.
"Look... it's over now. Can you at least get me out of here?"
Poor Rhode. His War Machine was based on the Mark II model, which lacked an automatic release mechanism.
Qin Xiao had severed the power core and wiring in his chest with a single blade. Now, he couldn't move a single finger, let alone slowly dismantle the armor himself.
"It's over. What are you going to do with him? I think you should hand him over to me!"
Black Widow and Pepper reappeared at the right moment, and Rhode, lying inside his War Machine armor, rolled his eyes.
Black Widow's words came from S.H.I.E.L.D.'s perspective.
Qin Xiao and Tony would never let S.H.I.E.L.D. get their hands on the Arc Reactor technology, especially since Qin Xiao knew that S.H.I.E.L.D. should really be called "Snake Shield" these days.
"Natasha, do you really think..."
Qin Xiao's words were cut off by Whiplash's maniacal laughter.
"Hahaha! No one gets to decide my fate! You'll all go to hell with me!"
With Whiplash's laughter, the Arc Reactors in all the War Machine armors on the ground, along with the three on Whiplash himself, began to flash with dangerous red lights.

Qin Xiao and Tony cursed almost simultaneously, charging toward the two women standing nearby.
Tony scooped up Pepper and soared into the sky, while Qin Xiao swept Black Widow into his arms and leaped toward the distant forest.
All that remained were Whiplash's frenzied curses, the pre-explosion alarms, and a faint voice coming from inside one of the War Machine armors on the ground.
"What's happening? Is it going to explode? Someone pull me up! Qin? Tony?"
"Boom!"
The explosions continued one after another, just like the climax of a melodramatic movie. The two male leads, each with their beloved women in their arms, stood at a distance, watching the triumphant explosions.
"Thud!"
A War Machine armor suit, blasted off its wearer, rolled to a stop a short distance away.
A muffled groan came from inside the suit.
Tony, his arm around Pepper's waist, gazed at her with deep affection. "I really regret missing out last time. I think I should make up for it today!"
The two slowly began to kiss.
Nearby, Qin Xiao still held Black Widow in his arms, motionless.
Black Widow gently pinched his waist and asked, "What were you going to tell me before the explosion happened?"
Qin Xiao glanced at the beauty in his arms, then at Tony and Pepper's passionate kiss beside them. He grinned. "It doesn't matter anymore!"
He lowered his head and pressed his lips against hers.
"Hey! Why are you so quiet? The explosions seem to have stopped. I'm about to be thrown to death! Let me out of this thing, Qin! Tony! I know you're nearby! What are you doing? Hey! Hey..."
"Shut up!"
Qin Xiao kicked a stone at Rhode's head, making the armor's occupant's head ring.

Of course, since his combat suit was adaptable, the button wasn't its standard form.
If Qin Xiao changed his clothes into sportswear, it might become a small ornament on the waistband or even the logo.
This depended entirely on Qin Xiao's preferences.
In his view, such items were best kept in unexpected places. That way, outsiders would never guess he had a spatial storage device.
They could only assume some magical effect, like Doctor Strange or Loki.
Besides, during combat, pulling a Tang Dao from just above his crotch would look far more intimidating than anything others could manage.

After stocking the spatial storage with some daily essentials, Qin Xiao boarded a plane to New Mexico.
Qin Xiao had originally wanted Thor to come to New York and stay with him, but the god insisted he couldn't bear to be separated from his hammer, feeling more at ease by its side. Qin Xiao let him have his way.
