Outside the energy shield on the Wakanda battlefield, at least several hundred fighter jets and warriors from two tribes had been deployed to plug the deliberately opened gap.

Black Panther shouted the line at the perfect moment from behind.
Then, all the warriors present roared out that old meme from Qin Xiao's past life: "Whiter than me! Whiter than me!"
Qin Xiao absolutely didn't mean to be racist, but hearing so many Black people shout that phrase together was truly a shocking sight.
Influenced by the videos from his past life, Qin Xiao couldn't hear that phrase as anything other than "Whiter than me."
Seeing everyone's spirits running high, the Old King gestured for them to quiet down and continued.
"We have chosen several warriors. Under Black Panther's leadership, they will join the Avengers to go inside and close that portal. Before it closes, we will send our 'return gift' to their command ship. Until our warriors complete this glorious mission, our duty is to hold our ground and protect the safety of our homeland!"
"Long live Wakanda! Long live the Black Panther!"
The Old King's speech not only ignited everyone's fighting spirit but also subtly boosted his son's prestige.
Qin Xiao pursed his lips. *No king is ever simple-minded,* he thought. Odin of Asgard was like this, and this Old Black Panther was no different.
Unswayed by the Wakandans' fervor, Qin Xiao glanced around and caught Okoye's gaze—she was practically radiating defiance and contempt.
Qin Xiao grinned and grabbed the slightly bewildered Dr. Banner.
"Come on, Banner! Time to let the little beast inside you roar!"
He gave Banner an encouraging nod.
Banner nodded back to the group and, under everyone's watchful eyes, strode toward the breach in the energy shield.
He only took a few steps before tripping over a tree root and faceplanting into the dirt.
The Avengers all facepalmed in unison.
Banner turned back with an embarrassed smile, only to meet the utterly disgusted glares of Okoye and her Dora Milaje.
The Old King walked up to Qin Xiao. "Are you sure we don't need to go in together? We can't hold our fire for long. You only have twenty seconds to get through that gap!"
"It's fine! Trust me!"
Qin Xiao and the others strode to the front of the defensive line. At the Old King's command, the energy shield expanded another two or three meters in height. The surrounding tribal warriors and the fighter jets in the sky immediately ceased their barrage.
Within the shield's perimeter, the Chitauri soldiers and a nearby Dragon Ship flew straight toward the gap.
Banner, who was at the front, glanced back one last time before turning and charging toward the Dragon Ship.
"Is he trying to get himself killed?" Okoye, who had already begun charging alongside the Avengers, muttered as she pulled up beside Natasha.
In the next instant, every Wakandan warrior's jaw dropped in stunned silence.
Just before the Dragon Ship could close in on him, Dr. Banner's muscles surged and his skin turned green.
In a flash, he transformed into a massive, two-meter-tall green behemoth!
"ROAARRRR!"
With a furious roar, Hulk threw a punch at the Dragon Ship, which was dozens of times his size.
The devastating blow brought the speeding ship to a dead halt.
The massive vessel flipped over from the sheer force of its own momentum.
With a whoosh, Qin Xiao soared toward the Dragon Ship in his armor. His Tang dao flashed as he sliced down from its tail toward its head.
Tony aimed a missile directly at a gaping tear in the ship's hull and fired.
The blast tore the ship in two.
Thor, the fourth to strike, ascended high into the sky, absorbing a torrent of lightning. With the force of a thousand storms, he and his hammer smashed directly into the breach.
The resulting explosion sent lightning arcing in all directions, clearing the surrounding area for dozens of meters.
Hulk leaped straight into the wreckage.
After firing his missile, Tony blasted through countless Chitauri soldiers in the air.
He flew directly over Captain America's head, his hand repulsors converging into a single energy beam that he fired straight down.
Captain America raised his shield, spinning in a circle in mid-air.
The reflected energy beam swept in a wide arc, and the Chitauri soldiers fell like dumplings, densely packed and tumbling down.
It had only been a dozen seconds since Dr. Banner transformed into the Hulk and threw his first punch.
The five of them had cleared out all the enemies within a several-hundred-meter radius.
And judging by the situation...
Qin Xiao and Tony were tearing through the air, while Captain America and Thor combined their efforts with the shield to bring down another massive wave of Chitauri soldiers.
Meanwhile, that big green guy was standing on top of another Dragon Ship, tearing its hull apart with his bare hands as if he were peeling a hard-boiled egg.
This left the Wakandans—who had assumed that pausing the fire and widening the breach would let more enemies swarm out—completely stunned.
Why had they mobilized so many troops to surround the breach? To watch the show?
What enemies? The place had already been cleared out!
Black Panther, Okoye, and the others, who had just arrived at the breach with Hawkeye and Natasha, stared blankly at the vast, empty space before them.
"None of these guys are normal. You'll get used to it!" Natasha smiled, patting Okoye on the shoulder before sprinting into the fray.
Okoye's mouth twitched, but she found herself unable to say a word.
