Aren had managed to heal most of his wounds faster than it had any right to heal. A normal Mystic who had taken this much damage would have been bedridden for at least a few weeks. Maybe even longer if the frost had settled deeper into their ether channels.
But he had the Water Element. And more than that, he'd mastered it extremely early in his Mystic career.
The difference was obvious the moment he started circulating ether through his wounds. Water did not heal the way Light did, nor did it force flesh together with brute vitality like certain beast-type Bloodlines.
