Chapter 14 - Chapter 14

"The Boss of the 142nd floor is furious at you. The Nameless One is furious about the invasion of its space."

The Nameless Boss 'Valkoinen' has locked onto you with killing intent. Entering its territory now is like walking into a predator's lair empty-handed."

"Strategy? I have it. A magic book? In my hands. I thought I was ready, but then I opened the first page of the Book of Valish.

'Magic is a talent reserved for the few,' it says. 'Not every mage is born strong.' I knew all that! But as I kept reading, my blood ran cold. This isn't a spellbook—it's a theoretical trap! Did the Dragon God actually get scammed, or was I the one who fell for it?

'Don't curse your master, Leon,' Leon muttered, he tries to keep his coolness . 'Control yourself.'

" The book is worse than useless. It's a beacon. It draws magic-starved monsters like moths to a flame, empowering them as they approach. And now, in the Lair of Valkoinen, the Nameless One has caught my scent. It despises the book's aura, and as long as I hold it, the boss will never stop hunting me."

[ "Book of Valish -

Description: Contains elementary magic theory.

Hidden Effect (Cursed): Lure of the Arcane. This book emits a scent that attracts magic-affinity monsters and increases their combat stats.

Warning: The Floor Boss, Valkoinen, is highly sensitive to this "smell." You have been marked as its primary target. " ]

No way, master I will never forget...

You have died....

"I'm dead. Again.

It doesn't matter how dark the corner is; that damned book is like a lighthouse for every monster in this cave. I've spent every seconds sharpening my body and my blade, yet here I am, being hunted like a defenseless animal. I could crush these monsters if I could just use my hands, but the master's laws have stripped me bare. If I can't figure out how to bridge the gap between my theory and actual magic, I'm going to be stuck in this death loop forever."

"After countless deaths, a memory flickered through Leon's mind. 'I created a world of magic, yet I can't even wield it?' He cursed his own stupidity. He had been so focused on his old strength that he forgot the most basic rule: magic is nothing without an attribute."

'I call myself a genius, yet I forgot the foundation,' he muttered, glancing around the empty floor. At least no one was there to see his embarrassment. But his anger shifted toward his master. That old man hadn't mentioned a word about how to actually acquire an attribute. Leon took a deep breath to settle his boiling blood. He didn't have time to rage—the Book of Valish was still acting as a beacon.'

"He scrambled to the peak of a jagged mountain, hoping the height would buy him time. He forgot, however, that these monsters didn't need to climb; they had magic and wings."

" Pushing himself into a deep meditative trance—the Magic Realm—he began to visualize the elements. It was grueling work while being hunted, but he persisted. Finally, he grasped it: Earth."

" The moment the attribute took root, the world turned violent. Spears of jagged rock erupted from the ground, skewering him instantly. He died. Then he died again. Twenty times he was impaled by the earth itself. But with every death, the logic of the soil and stone flooded his mind. His body was no longer just dying; it was memorizing the frequency of the earth magic."

"Leon's magic defied the laws of nature. While ordinary humans were bound by the necessity of Magic Circles—complex patterns formed within the heart to circulate mana—Leon was free. He required no intricate diagrams, no rhythmic incantations, and no restrictive symbols. To him, magic was not a calculated science, but an extension of his will. As long as his mana reserves remained full, he can weild the raw magic. He didn't just cast spells; he commanded the elements as their absolute master."

"I've finally done it. Earth magic—its affinity feels so grounded, almost like the origin of power itself."

" I can manifest spears from the very ground. Let's call it [Spear Pierce]. Yes, that works. Oh? A magical monster is approaching? Perfect timing. Let's start the training."

[Spear Pierce]!

'One isn't enough? Then how about two?' Three? Let's try ten!

You have slain a Magical Monster.

Listen to that... its death cry is a signal, isn't it? It's calling its friends. Good. Come at me. I need the practice. Spear Pierce! Spear Pierce! Spear Pierce!"

You have killed a magical monster.....

You have killed a magical monster.....

You have killed a magical monster.....

You have killed a magical monster....

You have killed a magical monster....

You have killed a magical monster....

You have killed a magical monster....

You have killed a magical monster....

You have killed a magical monster....

You have killed a magical monster....

You have stepped into the heart of the abyss: The Lair of Valkoinen....

The Nameless One roared, a wave of Primal Fear washing over the chamber. Yet, Leon stood unmoved. Valkoinen's fury only intensified as it sensed the truth—the scent of Half-Dragon blood.

"Master told me I couldn't use my physical strength," Leon whispered, a cold smile playing on my lips. "But he never said I couldn't use my eyes."

[Skill Activated: Dragon Eyes]

The world slowed. The boss's defenses were riddled with holes. "You have so many weaknesses, it's almost a pity. Let's make a bet: survive this one spell, and I'll let you live."

[Spear Pierce]!

Fifty earthen shards erupted, but they only grazed the beast's hide. "Living up to your name, I see. Then let's try something more... substantial."

Leon channeled his mana—not the thin energy of humans, but the dense, divine Pure Mana of a Dragon.

Summoning: Earthen Golem...

Earth Affinity has doubled. Spell potency increased by double.....

"One hundred Spears. Ten Golems. Let's end this suffering."

Without delay, the room was swallowed by stone and power. Leon didn't realize he was crushing a monster capable of destroying half the world; to him, it was just a target practice. His mana density wasn't just high—it was God-tier.

Boss Monster Valkoinen is casting 'Aura of Terror...'

Resistance Successful: Dragon Blood grants immunity to Fear.....

Leon looked at the towering beast. "So, you hate my smell? Too bad."

He activated his Dragon Eyes, peeling back the boss's layers until every fatal flaw was exposed. He didn't need a thousand spells. He only needed one, backed by a mana pool that rivaled the gods.

As the Golems advanced and the Spears multiplied by the hundreds, the floor itself began to buckle. The Nameless One, a calamity-class threat, was being systematically dismantled by a single attribute. Leon was no longer just a mage; he was an unrestricted force of nature.

You have been slain the boss monster...

" I have killed the boss monster, but why I didn't hear any message of killing.

Is there any another monster. "

"The Evil Wing has awakened from its long slumber.

'Perfect timing,' Leon muttered, gesturing toward the fallen beast. 'This is your dinner. Devour it.'

Sensing its master's intent, the Evil Wing pulsed with pure joy. It fell upon Valkoinen, the Nameless, with a ravenous hunger. The lair was filled with the sound of crunching mana and tearing shadows as the consumption began...

The Evil Wing is devouring the Apostle of the Fallen Goddess.....

As the last of Valkoinen's essence vanished, the wing began to pulse with a blinding, divine light. It was no longer just a tool of destruction; it was evolving.

Evolution Complete: Wing Executioner unlocked....

" From the darkness emerged wings of shimmering golden feathers. The Wing Executioner does not merely kill—it executes. It devours the wicked and purifies their remains without delay, wielding a fragment of the Fallen Goddess's power to exterminate all evil from the world."

"The Evil Wing has completed its transformation, evolving into the Wing Executioner—now known as the Fallen Wings."

Fallen Wings - Rank [ unknown]

[Have the power to execute the evil and Purification. ]

A wave of pure joy radiated from the feathers; the Fallen Wings seemed thrilled to finally be united with Leon.

'You're a damn cool pair of wings,' Leon muttered, admiring the golden sheen. 'But don't get weird on me. You only come out when I call for you. Understand? Good. Now, return.'

" With a silent flicker of gold, they vanished back into the void."

"A door? That's strange. This is supposed to be the boss's lair—was Valkoinen actually guarding this?"

Leon approached the threshold, his eyes tracing the eldritch patterns etched into the surface. As he looked closer, his blood ran cold. The carvings weren't just random shapes; they were a chronicle of his own journey. Every battle, every death, every spear he had summoned was depicted there in perfect detail.

"Is this the past... or a premonition of my future?"

The mural ended abruptly at the door's handle. Beyond this point, there was nothing—a void that suggested a foe even he might not be able to defeat.

"The guide said I was the first to reach this floor, yet these carvings tell a different story.

"Wait... looking more closely, these aren't my battles. At first glance, I thought it was me, but I was wrong. Someone else was forced through here long before I arrived."

Despite the warning, a powerful intuition tugged at his soul. Something deep inside—perhaps the dragon blood or the Fallen Wings—was screaming at him to enter. A faint, ghostly call echoed from the other side.

"I don't know what's waiting anymore," Leon muttered, his hand gripping the cold stone. "But there's only one way to find out. Open."

"The Altar of the Fallen ' beckons to you....

The massive, ancient stone groaned as the Fallen Altar began to unseal itself, its heavy doors parting like a giant's maw. A cold, divine wind swept past Leon, carrying a voice that echoed not in his ears, but directly in his soul.

' The Altar of the Fallen has acknowledged your presence....'

'Welcome, Path Finder...'

The darkness beyond the threshold began to pulse with a faint, rhythmic gold, matching the heartbeat of his Fallen Wings. Leon stepped forward, the heavy 'thud' of his boots the only sound in the suffocating silence of the transition. He wasn't just entering a new room; he was stepping into a Primordial Sanctum where the laws of the tower no longer applied."
