Chapter 15 - Chapter 15

Fallen Altar is waiting in your arrival...

Difficulty level - Unknown????

A freezing floor, slick with a thin, mirror-like layer of water, held an ancient tome at its absolute center. The book drifted weightlessly toward Leon, yet its metaphysical gravity felt heavier than a mountain. Its mere existence posed a riddle to reality, radiating a primordial pressure that would make even a Dragon God tremble in its wake.

The book was resonating you....

Altar of Memories trying to making you conscious....

'Ancient Book' power is beyond the control of Altar of Memories...

You are unconsciousally walking towards the book....

The book can feel your presence more wider...

"The book hummed with a resonance that mirrored his own heartbeat. Though the Altar of Memories fought to anchor Leon's consciousness, it's influence buckled under a power far more ancient. He found himself drifting toward the tome as if in a trance, Leon legs moving without his command. With every step, the book's awareness were expanded, its invisible gaze widening to consume his very soul."

"Dragged by an invisible thread, Leon waded through the mirror-like water, the biting cold of the floor lost to the trance that gripped him. The Altar's voice was a whisper compared to the book's roar from the abyss. When his hand accidentally met the leather binding, the book's essence flooded his body like an invasive infection. He collapsed, his cries of unbearable pain filling every corner of the room. It was not just his skin that burned—it was his soul. Then, a mark appeared: a crown of white flower petals blooming across his brow. At the moment of imprint, his physical form seemed to splinter like glass, only to be woven back together by a power that defied death. The agony finally snapped, and Leon fell into a darkness more profound than the room itself."

[Twelve Ancient Forgotten Fallen Gods are watching you...]

"Twelve pairs of ancient eyes watch from the darkness, the gaze of fallen gods fixed solely on Leon . They are eager to see which forgotten legacy Leon will carry into the light. Looking at him, their 'precious child,' a wave of divine sorrow washes over them—a lingering grief for the protection they could never provide. They no longer wish to be mere spectators; the fallen twelve are reaching out, their voices yearning to finally speak to Leon."

"As his physical self was shattered and remade, Leon's mind retreated into the dark. He had no knowledge of the divine stigmas etching into his soul, nor could he hear the mournful whispers of the fallen gods as they claimed him as their own."

You have been choosen by a stigma...

You have been choosen by a stigma...

You have been choosen by a stigma...

"You are the first being to be chosen by more than one Stigma."

"A rare joy swept through the Twelve Fallen Gods as they looked upon their child. Stepping forward from the shadows, the God of Healing bestowed a celestial grace upon him, followed by the Goddess of Divinity, who draped his soul in a shimmering, holy light."

" The God of Healing's touch has reshaped your Guide, birthing a Mystic Fairy from the light...

This guardian, blessed by ancient forces, stands ready to lead your way and bleed for you on the battlefield....

Not to be outdone, the Goddess of Divinity has redeemed your Fallen Wings, turning them into shimmering Divine Wings....

They are no longer mere tools for the sky; they are weapons of holy wrath that fight as one with you...."

"A final goodbye echoed from the Twelve. 'Be happy this time, child.

The sands of time have run out; we cannot turn them back again.' They urged him to find companions, to share the burden he once bore in solitude. Through the darkness of his coma, Leon felt a familiar, golden heat."

'It's not your fault,' a fatherly voice murmured. 'You will do better this time. You are the Chosen of Time.' As the God of Fallen Stars prepared to fade, he called Leon by his true name: 'Emster', my son. A million years of unshed tears fell as a single drop upon the boy's face. With a ghostly kiss and a heart full of pride,"Sleep well, my dear. These are the final words of the God of Fallen Stars, a whisper that lingers even as he dissolves into light." the god dissolved into stardust, bestowing his final legacy upon his child."

"A nameless Stigma has been etched into your soul....

The nameless mark resonates with father's blessing ....

It has evolved into the 'Stigma of the Fallen Stars....'

You have acquired the 'Void Stigma'...

You have acquired the Stigma of the ' First Ancient Dragon God'."

"A Stigma has been acquired; the first mark is now successfully imprinted upon your flesh. A second Stigma follows, successfully carving its power into your spirit. Finally, the third Stigma is claimed, successfully imprinting its ancient legacy alongside the others."

While Leon's physical shell lay motionless on the freezing floor, his soul was being forged in the fire of the First Stigma. The Ancient Dragon God did not just heal him; it tore his humanity apart and reconstructed him into a true Dragon. As the white petal pattern etched into his forehead, Leon was pulled into a deep vision, absorbing the Dragon's Oath, their primordial magic, and the staggering weight of their legacy. He wasn't just gaining power; he was beginning his ascent to Godhood.

When Leon's eyes finally snapped open, the frozen room was gone. He was suspended in the air, bound by invisible forces in a nightmare realm. Before him loomed four towering deities, their bodies wrapped in strange, shifting scripts and their eyes bound by white cloth. From beneath those bandages, one wept black petals, while the others bled endlessly.

The air shivered with their presence. Without warning, they fell upon him, strangling and slaughtering him with clinical cruelty. Then, the world reset.

"Is this a cycle?" Leon thought, his mind reeling from the deja vu of his own death. Again and again, he was executed. But as the fear faded, it was replaced by a seething, ancient anger—an emotion that didn't belong to Leon, but to the Dragon blood now screaming in his veins.

Forcing his head up against the crushing pressure, Leon snarled at the deity weeping black petals. "Why are you doing this to me?"

The deity paused, its voice like grinding stone. "A weakling. A half-deity attempting to rewrite the laws. We are the architects of order; you are merely a subject to be broken."

The Dragon power within Leon surged, snapping his jaw open to roar a question he didn't even know he had:

"Then why are you killing them? Why are you destroying other worlds? Why!"

"'You want an answer?' the deity sneered, black petals falling like soot from his bound eyes. 'It is for sport. For us, these worlds are mere pawns, fuel for our entertainment. You betrayed us, thinking your power gave you the right to save them. We devour worlds to ascend; you were simply an obstacle.' The deity's voice grew cold. 'You will perish. Your name will be rewritten as a villain's, and the world you died to protect will crumble because of your own failure. Now, finish the trial and purge the "evil" from this sacred place."

The vision shifted. Leon was pulled from the cycle of death into a fragment of ancient memory. He realized the body he now inhabited was no mere mortal—it was a fallen deity. He saw a world of impossible harmony where twelve distinct species lived in peace under a brilliant, divine light. But the beauty was shattering. He felt the Guardian's agony: My childrens are dying. If I fall, this world falls with me.With every drop of his divinity, he slaughtered six of the ten deities who had betrayed his world. He could not kill the final four, and so he perished, his name blackened by their lies. This was the truth hidden within the Stigma—This memory was just a single fragrance trapped within the Stigma—a shard of a lost world and a deity who dared to question the laws of heaven."

"He saw a world he did not recognize: peaceful, beautiful, and long dead. It was a fragment of a divine soul, a memory contained within his Stigma that whispered of a life lived before the fall."

"The first Stigma held the absolute essence of magic, a vessel for the lingering fragrances of countless deities. Yet, because its true depth was nearly impossible to master, Leon could currently only tap into the Ancient Origin Magic and the 'Divine Magic' of the fallen Guardian he had just witnessed. This Stigma was an artifact lost to time, forgotten even by the Sacred Divine Realm. Now, Leon wields a singular, isolated power—a legacy meant for him, and him alone."

"You have awakened the lost attribute: Divine Magic."

"The core truth of forgotten magic flows through you."

"Wisdom gained....

"Your Wisdom has peaked.....

"All secrets of magic are now within your grasp."

Before he could even drift into unconsciousness or open his eyes, the second stigma began carving itself into his back. A cascade of fallen stars from a breathtaking night sky etched themselves into his skin—a brand of immense power capable of slaying the divine. As a punisher of the heavens, it defied all divine laws, though Leon's mortal status meant he could not yet wield its full potential. Despite being unconscious, he felt the agony of a million stars stabbing into his form.

Then, as the trial concluded, a third stigma appeared on his left hand: a void of pure, beautiful black, shapeless yet swirling with intricate, hidden patterns.

When Leon finally opened his eyes, his entire body felt leaden and numb. He was adrift in a realm of absolute darkness, where a shadow sat enthroned above him, radiating a pressure so immense it felt suffocating.

[The Void is gazing upon you.]

[You have encountered the Ancient Forgotten God: The God of Voidous—the primordial root of void, darkness, and evil.]

"So, you've finally arrived," the shadow spoke. "In all of time, you haven't set foot here once. Hopefully, you will inherit my power. You cannot wield its full extent yet, but you will master it in time. Eventually, you shall ascend to godhood. That is all."

"Aren't you going to perish?" Leon stammered.

"Perish? Are you insane?" the god scoffed.

"Every other deity I've encountered has said farewell to me as if it were the end," Leon explained quickly. "That's why I asked."

"I am a god forgotten and erased by time, yet none possess the power to destroy me," the shadow replied. "I grew tired of the other gods—they are nosy and weak.""I forged this realm solely for myself—a void where I alone exist. It gets quite dull here, so when the boredom becomes unbearable, I simply slaughter a few gods to pass the time. That is all there is to it."

Enough talk; you're a mess. Go back."

Leon was speechless. He was facing an entity beyond comprehension, yet the god spoke with a strange, blunt familiarity. "He sounds exactly like my master ", Leon realized. "Thank you for explaining everything," he said aloud. "But... what should I call you?"

"God, Void god, Dark lord, what should I call you!"

"Just call me Master."

"But I already have a master," Leon countered.

"What? Don't tell me that old Dragon God," the shadow spat. "That crazy god... he didn't even hesitate to claim you. Fine, just accept me as your second master. You can only visit me once you return to your own world. There are restrictions; without a medium, I cannot manifest in other realms—even fallen ones. Now, begone!"

The Void slammed shut as Leon was forcibly expelled. For a time, he couldn't shake the feeling of guilt, certain that falling unconscious had caused him to miss crucial events and insights.

"I feel as though something vital has slipped through my fingers," he murmured, letting out a heavy, deep sigh.
