I could feel something was wrong the moment I walked inside Alex's office. I could smell her arousal in the air, and her flushed face didn't do any good in hiding that something had happened before I walked through that door. My jaw clenched as my wolf became restless inside my head.
"She belongs to us. He cannot touch what was ours. That's the rule we agreed upon." My wolf growled inside my head. Yes, he thought she was our fated mate, but we hadn't scented her yet, and her being wolfless wasn't helping in that matter.
"Did I miss something, brother?" I raised a brow at Alex, but my eyes never left her. I watched her as she gasped in shock at hearing me address Alex as my brother.
"Yes, we are brothers. Half-brothers, to be precise," I told her as realization dawned on her.
