A Humvee loaded with passengers was seen making its way through the chaotic streets.
Shizuka, the driver, looked alert as she drove.
Upstairs, Hirano and Akira, strapped to the roof, were warily observing their surroundings.
Due to the limited space inside the car, Akira and Hirano were forced to give in and sit on the roof of the Humvee.
To ensure their safety, a strong rope was tied around their waists, allowing them to sit and lie down securely.
"There's a situation ahead," Akira's voice was heard informing the others as he gazed at the throng of zombies spread out before them.
There was also a collection of damaged and abandoned vehicles, adding to the eerie atmosphere of the road.
If this were the tactical vehicle he had stored in the compartment, Akira would confidently blow through and overwhelm the vehicles and zombies in front of him.
But what he was currently driving was a Humvee, which, while also powerful, was still no match for a tactical vehicle made of steel with impact and mine protection systems.

Flashback to his introduction to the protagonist group, Akira told them he was an adventurer, receiving a strange response.
Because the term "adventurer" Akira referred to was perceived as a vague term for mercenaries or security forces, or even more simply, armed bodyguards.
After learning this, they quickly accepted Akira, finding his demeanor and personality quite friendly.
Not to mention Akira's deep gratitude, immediately expressed to the group when he willingly handed over his long-barreled weapon, an American-made MP4 with a scope and silencer.
As collateral for his willingness to join, Akira also handed over two pistols and magazines, along with a combat knife and some supplies.
Seeing Akira's good intentions, the group readily accepted, as this only indicated that Akira was indeed who they had said he was, willingly joining them as a token of gratitude for saving their lives.
Unknown to them, Akira was well-equipped and could easily pull out the weapons he kept in his compartment whenever he wanted.
Since he had decided to play the part to some extent, Akira naturally needed the group's trust.
He was the first to volunteer outside the Humvee and act as a watchdog for their journey.
"Is it possible to break through?" Saya asked. As the brains of the team, she quickly made a careful decision.
"It's difficult, but perhaps. Would it be better if we find another way?" Akira asked again.
Akira knew this was one of the scenes where they would be trapped and ultimately rescued by Saya's mother at a critical moment. From there, Saeko and Takashi would separate, leading to a series of romantic encounters between the two.
Knowing this possibility, Akira naturally tried to prevent it, but if he failed, he would change Takashi's position by stopping him with himself.
"There's no time, let's keep trying. This is the fastest way to my house." In the end, Saya chose to break through.
Thus began Hirano's elimination campaign using his sniper rifle.
He quickly destroyed the zombies blocking their path, but the noise from the weapon...
Instead, it attracted the attention of other zombies, who, without their knowledge, surrounded the entire team and led them to a secluded spot.
"Bang...bang...bang..."
"Ratatatatta...ratatatat..." The gunshots continued to ring out.
This ultimately trapped them.
"Get out of here!!!" Akira screamed as he continued to use his combat knife to stab every zombie in the head that came near him.
With his physical abilities and spatial magic, Akira was like a formidable warrior.
However, he also looked exhausted after killing so many zombies.
Meanwhile, Akira deliberately approached Saeko, who was going crazy killing zombies.
When he saw Takashi, wielding a baseball bat, also approaching him, Akira manipulated the space around him.
This prevented Takashi from approaching Saeko and Akira, but ultimately, the zombies, without realizing it, pushed Takashi back towards Saya and the others.
Then The group now saw the stranger tim approaching them.
"Ahhh...it's my mother...mother!!!" Saya felt a surge of joy and happiness upon seeing her mother arrive with several people.
"My… my children!!!!… hurry and save them!!" Saya mother shouted to the others.
Soon they were rescued, and Akira and Saeko were on higher ground, watching everything unfold. he immediately said, "Do you know the way to Saya house?" Akira asked Saeko.
"Yes, I know the way," Saeko replied with a tired but satisfied expression, covered in blood and scratches.
Akira was in a similar situation. His tactical gear was also dirty and scratched, but they were still safe and sound.
"Good, then let's split up and find a detour," Akira suggested.
"Okay, let's do it," Saeko replied immediately.
"We'll find another way, you can go back with the rescue team!!" Akira shouted, informing the others of their decision.
"Okay, be careful! We'll wait for you two at home!!" Saya replied with a look of regret.
"Akira...be careful!!" Shizuka also shouted sadly.
Akira nodded in response, and the two of them quickly left.
They tried to evacuate and find a better alternative route.
But as if they were running into numerous walls, they continued to encounter numerous zombies and engaged in numerous battles.
Finally, just like in the story, they used a motorcycle with the ability to traverse water.
They managed to get to a safer area, only to encounter another group of zombies in their garden and become trapped.
Unable to resist, Akira drove the motorcycle into a pond in the middle of the garden, causing it to spin around in circles, making a loud noise.
He immediately carried the exhausted Saeko to the top, where they found a shrine located above.
"We're safe...ha...ha...ha..." Akira leaned quickly on the wooden steps leading to the shrine's interior.
Saeko, similarly, looked out of breath and quickly leaned back to regain her strength.
After a short rest, Akira spoke again.
"Saeko, you go check the inside of the temple and see if it's safe. I'll try to secure the area around the temple and make sure no zombies have climbed up, while also checking to see if there's anything usable for food." Akira divided the tasks and asked Saeko to check the temple. Knowing it was safe, he entrusted her with that task.
As for himself, if he wasn't mistaken, the zombies would make it up the next day, so to avoid disrupting the important moment he was about to welcome, Akira naturally had to be prepared.
Fortunately, he spotted several vending machines in the area and, taking advantage of the space, took out all the packaged food and drinks they had.
He also made a barricade to block the stairs leading to the upper part of the temple.
After he had enough, he returned to the temple to look for Saeko.
