Chapter 32 - THE BIRTH DEVIL'S EYE

First Day of Training....

Adryn fights Haru...

Haru attacks Adryn at his full power using Crimson Fists but he couldn't touch Adryn. The fast he gets the more fast Adryn gets, due to the Limitless Devil's power of helping Adryn seeing a glimpse to the future which helps Adryn easily escapes Haru's move even though he is not very speedy...

"You are not ready" says Adryn.

Adryn shows a meditation posture for Haru to do to get in contact with the Crimson Devil.

Haru does it and gets contact with it in his mind...

Inside Haru's mind...

Devil tells him not to make contact with him again but Haru asks for his power.

It smirks and says to him "use my Terrian" Haru punches him because the devil can't move freely because of Haru's specific posture, it just yells at him for punching...

Eventually Devil tells him to Concentrate more and make more flow to the part where you want to exchange with mine or you can gain my parts power for sometime atleast...

Haru comes back...

Says all this to Adryn.

He puts Haru in a meditation posture to concentrate

Eventually Haru does it for a week and managed to make the flow to his eyes...

They both start their training again, which is fighting each other...

Night had already swallowed the training grounds.

The sky above the Exorcist headquarters was moonless, heavy with clouds that crawled slowly across the darkness. Wind moved through the empty field like a whisper of something watching.

Haru stood alone in the middle of the cracked ground.

He had been waiting.

Adryn had told him to come here after sunset. No explanation. No instructions.

Just one sentence.

"Come if you really want to survive Denjiyon Town."

Haru clenched his fists.

The thought of the Essence Devil still lingered in his mind — that massive shadow moving inside the rain in Regi's recording. The sound of the rain. The towering figure standing behind the glowing tree.

His heart started beating faster.

Footsteps echoed behind him.

Slow.

Heavy.

Haru didn't turn.

"You're late," he said.

Adryn walked past him without replying. His boots scraped softly against the dirt as he moved to the center of the field.

The air felt different immediately.

Colder.

Adryn removed his coat and tossed it aside.

"You're still standing," he said.

Haru frowned.

"…Was I supposed to leave?"

Adryn looked at him with calm, almost bored eyes.

"Most people do."

Haru scoffed.

"Yeah? I'm not most people."

For a few seconds, neither of them moved.

Then—

Adryn disappeared.

Haru's instincts screamed.

Before he could react—

CRACK

Something struck the side of his ribs like a hammer.

His body twisted violently and crashed across the ground. Dust exploded into the air as he rolled several meters before stopping.

Pain spread through his chest like fire.

"Ghh—!"

Haru coughed, trying to breathe.

Adryn slowly walked toward him.

"You're slow," he said.

Haru forced himself up.

"That wasn't training," he muttered. "That was an ambush."

Adryn tilted his head slightly.

"Good."

Haru blinked.

"What?"

"You noticed."

Adryn stopped three meters away.

"This isn't sparring. I'm not here to teach you techniques."

The wind howled softly across the empty field.

Adryn's eyes sharpened.

"I'm here to break you."

Haru wiped blood from the corner of his mouth.

"Try it."

Adryn vanished again.

This time Haru tried to react.

He swung his arm—

But nothing was there.

A hand grabbed the back of his neck.

BOOM

Haru was slammed face-first into the ground.

The impact shook the earth.

His ears rang.

His vision flickered.

Adryn's boot pressed against his back.

"You rely too much on the Crimson Devil," Adryn said calmly.

Haru tried to push himself up but the pressure on his back felt like a mountain.

"You don't understand it," Adryn continued.

Haru growled.

"Then explain it!"

Adryn lifted his foot.

Haru turned quickly and swung a punch.

Adryn caught it easily.

Their eyes met.

"Power without understanding is just borrowed strength," Adryn said.

Then he pressed two fingers against Haru's chest.

Right above his heart.

At first nothing happened.

Then—

Haru felt something move inside his body.

A burning sensation spread through his veins.

His breathing suddenly became heavy.

"What… did you do…?" Haru whispered.

Adryn stepped back.

"I woke it up."

The burning grew worse.

Haru grabbed his chest as his knees hit the ground.

Inside him something stirred.

Something ancient.

Something angry.

A deep presence that had always been there.

The Crimson Devil.

Haru's vision flickered red for a moment.

Adryn watched silently.

"Feel that?" he asked.

Haru clenched his teeth.

"It's like… fire inside my bones…"

Adryn nodded.

"That's the devil's flow."

Haru slowly looked up.

"The what?"

Adryn crossed his arms.

"Every devil moves through its host like blood through veins. That movement is its flow."

The wind around them grew colder.

"You've been using the Crimson Devil's strength," Adryn continued, "but you've never actually seen it."

Haru forced himself to stand.

"So how do I see it?"

Adryn pointed toward the endless empty field.

"Run."

Haru stared at him.

"…That's your answer?"

"Run until your body breaks."

Haru narrowed his eyes.

"And if I stop?"

Adryn's voice was flat.

"I'll make sure you can't walk again."

For a moment Haru thought he was joking.

Then he saw Adryn's expression.

He wasn't.

Haru started running.

The first few minutes were easy.

Then the burning inside his body began spreading again.

His breathing became rough.

The field seemed endless.

Every step made his muscles scream.

Adryn followed him silently like a shadow.

Hours passed.

Sweat poured down Haru's face.

His legs started shaking.

But the burning inside him kept growing stronger.

Something inside his chest felt like it was clawing to escape.

Finally—

Haru collapsed to his knees.

His lungs felt like they were tearing apart.

Adryn stopped beside him.

"Good."

Haru laughed weakly.

"…You're insane."

Adryn ignored him.

Instead he stepped forward and released something.

The atmosphere instantly changed.

The air grew heavy.

Dark.

Oppressive.

Haru felt it immediately.

His body trembled.

"What… is this…?" he whispered.

Adryn looked down at him.

"My devil aura."

The pressure intensified.

Haru felt like the air itself was crushing him.

His instincts screamed for him to close his eyes.

To run.

To escape.

But Adryn's voice cut through the pressure.

"Keep your eyes open."

Haru's vision blurred.

"What?"

"If you close your eyes… you fail."

The pressure increased again.

Haru's legs collapsed.

He fell forward onto his hands.

His eyes burned.

"Why… are you doing this…?" he gasped.

Adryn's voice was cold.

"Because Denjiyon Town will be worse."

Rain began falling lightly from the dark sky above.

Cold drops hit the ground around them.

Adryn looked up briefly.

"During the monsoon," he continued, "the Essence Devil will cover the entire town in this kind of pressure."

Haru's body shook.

"If you can't even look at me right now…"

Adryn stepped closer.

"You'll die the moment you see it."

Haru clenched his teeth.

His vision darkened.

The pressure kept growing heavier.

But he forced his eyes open.

Inside his body—

Something responded.

The burning became violent.

For a split second—

Haru's pupils flickered.

A thin crimson glow appeared in his eyes.

Adryn noticed immediately.

His expression changed slightly.

"…There it is."

Haru slowly lifted his head.

His vision felt different.

Strange.

Distorted.

For a brief moment—

He saw something.

A dark red current moving through his own body.

Like rivers of burning light flowing under his skin.

The Crimson Devil's flow.

Then his vision snapped back to normal.

Haru collapsed completely onto the ground.

Unconscious.

Rain continued falling softly across the field.

Adryn stood over him in silence.

After a few seconds he picked up his coat.

"Not bad," he muttered.

Then he looked down at Haru again.

"For the night."

Lightning flashed across the distant sky.

Far away—

Rain clouds slowly began moving toward Denjiyon Town.

The monsoon was coming.

(After one and a quarter of month of Haru's training with Adryn he finally managed to get the power of the Devil's eye for himself )...
