Chapter 19 - Chapter 19 Doyle’s shock, the evolution of the fighting genius is complete!

Ring ring ring!

The urgent phone ringing broke the somewhat leisurely atmosphere of the Tokyo Police Department.

"Hello, this is the Tokyo Police Department," operator Sonoda answered the phone, her professional voice carrying a hint of weariness.

"This is Tokyo Den High School, a terrorist has broken into the campus!" Class monitor Michi's urgent shout came from the other end of the line.

"Two of our classmates are currently holding off the terrorist, please send police support immediately!"

Sato sat up abruptly, his fingers rapidly typing on the keyboard: "Received! Please describe the suspect's characteristics!"

"Red hair, about one meter eighty tall, seems to be one of the death row inmates from the recent news!" Michi's voice trembled with fear.

"What?!" Sato's whole body shook, his hand clutching the phone tightened unconsciously, and his heart instantly sank.

As a staff member of the Tokyo Police Department, he knew very well how terrifying these five death row inmates were; those guys were simply monsters in human skin!

If it really was one of those five death row inmates, the chances of these children surviving were almost zero.

"Please organize the teachers and students to evacuate immediately, the police will arrive soon," Sato forced down the tremor in his voice, trying to make the other party feel at ease.

His mood was heavy, and at the same time, he sent the highest level alarm to the command center.

Beep—! A piercing alarm echoed throughout the entire Tokyo Police Department building.

An urgent message appeared on the public screen in the office.

[Tokyo Den High School Emergency: Suspected death row inmate Doyle has broken into campus!]

Matsumoto saw the message on the public screen and stood up abruptly, large beads of sweat seeping from his forehead.

Ring ring ring!

The entire Tokyo Police Department instantly entered a state of emergency, with alarm bells ringing loudly.

He grabbed his jacket and roared into the intercom: "All units, Level One Alert! All mobile units, deploy immediately! Target: Tokyo Den High School!"

Matsumoto rushed out of the office, the image of Allen fighting Spec in the surveillance footage flashing through his mind.

If that young man were there… maybe he could stop all of this.

"Quick! Contact the school to confirm if Allen is on campus!" Matsumoto shouted into the communicator… Meanwhile, on the playground of Tokyo Den High School, Allen landed lightly, his school uniform fluttering in the wind. He looked up and saw Baki confronting a tall, thin man with calm eyes.

That was the death row inmate Yanagi Ryuko.

"Two against two, very fair." Doyle also jumped onto the playground at this moment. He scanned Allen up and down like he was sizing up prey, and couldn't help but lick his lips.

Allen looked at the battle-eager Doyle and couldn't help but scratch his head, feeling a bit troubled, and sighed helplessly.

"Do you death row inmates usually chase people to school?"

"If we really start fighting here, everyone will be scared."

"I almost exposed myself." Allen's face showed some dissatisfaction.

His peaceful life was just shattered by the red-haired lunatic in front of him.

"I'm going to change places first." Baki called out to Allen, then took a backward leap to create distance, leading Yanagi Ryuko towards the back mountain behind the teaching building.

"Wouldn't it be better to be exposed? How can a beast be with weak insects!" Before Doyle finished speaking, he suddenly rushed towards Allen, his right fist cutting through the air straight for Allen's face.

"Beasts should stay in the arena."

Allen's Combat Intuition had already warned him. He slightly turned his head, and the wind from the punch brushed past his temple, easily avoiding the blow, but the attack was not over yet.

Doyle secretly chuckled, and slightly hooked his pinky finger.

Swish!

A silver gleam shot out from his wrist. A sharp blade suddenly appeared on Doyle's wrist and slashed towards Allen.

Allen backflipped, a few strands of hair falling.

While backflipping, he suddenly kicked with both legs, sending Doyle flying.

Doyle's pupils trembled. This was the first time he had seen someone able to dodge his surprise attack.

Does he know that my entire body has been modified?

No! Impossible! Doyle quickly dismissed the thought in his mind, attributing the result only to Allen's terrifying Combat Intuition.

Allen sighed in his heart as he looked at his even shorter hair. If he fought these death row inmates a few more times, he was afraid he'd end up with a buzz cut.

Allen shook his head and focused. In the original plot, Doyle's entire body had been modified, and he had even applied muscle relaxant to the blade edges.

He especially needed to guard against the explosives in Doyle's chest; he didn't want his school uniform to be blown to shreds, as the other one hadn't dried yet.

Although it was a bit troublesome, Allen only needed to smash the mechanism in Doyle's pinky finger with one punch.

Flashy tricks were nothing in the face of absolute power.

Doyle licked his lips, his eyes shining with excitement: "Not bad reactions, kid."

"But it won't be so simple next time!" His figure suddenly vanished from his original spot.

Allen instinctively dodged to the left.

"Whoosh!" A cold glint grazed Allen's neck, and he narrowly dodged the blow.

"Quick reactions." Doyle's voice came from behind him.

"But how many more times can you dodge?"

Allen didn't answer. His gaze locked onto Doyle, his mind rapidly analyzing the opponent's attack pattern.

Doyle's speed and strength far exceeded ordinary people, coupled with the advantages brought by his full body modifications, he was indeed a bit troublesome.

"Bang!"

Doyle attacked again, his fist violently striking Allen's abdomen. Allen neither dodged nor flinched. The moment the fist made contact, his body suddenly rippled like water.

Doyle's fist seemed to hit cotton, and all its force was perfectly neutralized.

Doyle's pupils constricted: "What kind of trick is this?"

Allen's lips curled up, and the message "Fighting Genius Evolution Complete" appeared on his panel.

He had deliberately allowed himself to be hit just to analyze whether Doyle had the talent he wanted.

A 3D holographic image immediately appeared before Allen's eyes.

[Please select the ability to evolve: Master of Hidden Weapons, Poison Resistance]

Tsk.

Allen glanced at the options, feeling a slight disappointment in his heart. Although these two abilities were practical, they still fell short compared to Hanma Blood and Fighting Genius.

"Looks like I need to finish this quickly." Allen muttered to himself, his gaze re-locking onto Doyle.

Doyle suddenly grinned, hooking his pinky finger slightly, and blades popped out from all the joints of his body: "Kid, let me show you what a true deathmatch is!"

All of Doyle's metal blades glinted silver in the sunlight. He was like a moving, bladed top, pouncing fiercely towards Allen.

"This is a killing technique!"

Allen's eyes narrowed slightly, his breathing gradually steadying, and all his muscles instantly tensed to their limit. Now, he could utilize his muscles with one hundred percent efficiency!

Several silver gleams gradually magnified in Allen's pupils. As the distance closed, the world in his eyes began to slow down.

Relying on the slowing effect of Combat Intuition, every subtle movement of Doyle was broken down into countless frames: muscle contractions, joint rotations, blade angles—all information escaped Allen's eyes.

Zzz—Bang!

Allen's figure flickered, avoiding the blade that sprang from Doyle's right arm. He threw a punch with his right hand, cutting through the air with a sharp, explosive roar!

Crack!

"Ah!" The crisp sound of metal breaking echoed. Doyle's right hand was twisted and deformed by the blow, and his entire arm instantly hung limply.

Doyle staggered backward, his pupils trembling violently, his whole body shaking uncontrollably. He looked at his twisted and deformed right arm with disbelief in his eyes.

This was specially reinforced bone, yet it was broken by a single punch!

The immense power almost made him pass out from the pain.

"Impossible…" Doyle's voice trembled with pain. All the mechanisms on his body had failed because of that one punch.

Allen didn't give him a chance to catch his breath. He instantly moved forward, and as his afterimage dissipated, he was already in front of Doyle.

Bang! Bang! Bang! Three muffled thuds erupted almost simultaneously!

Every one of Allen's strikes was incredibly precise, specifically targeting the weak points where Doyle's machinery connected with his flesh. Three consecutive heavy punches, striking Doyle's right shoulder, left knee, and chest respectively, each accompanied by the sound of twisting metal.

Doyle finally couldn't hold on, dropping to one knee. All the modified parts of his body had malfunctioned due to Allen's heavy punches.

"You… how could you know these weaknesses?" Doyle gasped, asking.

His proud killing weapon was so vulnerable in front of this high school student.

Allen flexed his wrist: "Your movements betray everything."

Doyle's expression froze. He suddenly realized that this seemingly ordinary student in front of him was probably ten times more dangerous than all the death row inmates in prison combined.

If they, the death row inmates, were beasts, then this young man in front of him was a monster!

A monster that had infiltrated the arena and was wreaking havoc!
