"Boom! Boom! Boom!"
"B-Class Rank 27 Hero, Allen, come out immediately!"
"B-Class Rank 1 Hero, Hellish Blizzard-sama, has something to say to you!"
Allen had just finished his morning run, showered, and was drying his hair when he suddenly heard urgent knocking and shouting from outside his door. He frowned, continuing to wipe his hair with the towel, showing no intention of opening the door.
He couldn't exactly open the door naked, could he?
Saitama, hearing the knocking, curiously opened his door and peeked out, discovering a woman and two men in elaborate clothing standing in front of Allen's apartment door.
Saitama's expression was somewhat serious: "You've got the wrong person. Allen-kun doesn't subscribe to newspapers."
As a good neighbor, he had an obligation to help Allen-kun turn away these newspaper salesmen.
The three clearly paused for a moment, then Matsuge, a cadre, loudly retorted: "We're not salesmen! We're Heroes!"
"We're here to invite Allen to join the Blizzard Group!"
Saitama blinked his deadpan eyes: "Huh? What's the Blizzard Group? A food delivery service?"
Matsuge's face turned green with anger: "You baldie! How dare you insult Hellish Blizzard-sama!"
Just as Matsuge was about to pull out his eyelash curler to teach Saitama a lesson, Allen finally got dressed and opened his apartment door: "Saitama-kun, what's going on? Is it another insurance salesman?"
Saitama scratched his bald head: "Not insurance, seems like a food delivery service?"
"Ah ah ah ah! We're not selling insurance! We're not selling newspapers! We're not a food delivery service! We're Heroes! Heroes!" Matsuge was so enraged by the two that he stomped his feet, veins bulging on his forehead.
Waving the eyelash curler in his hand, he pointed at Allen and Saitama and shouted: "You two! Listen to what people are saying!"
Allen then noticed the three people standing outside the door. In the middle was a short-haired beauty in a dark green dress, with a curvaceous figure, who was scrutinizing him with an appraising gaze.
On her left and right stood a tall, thin man holding an eyelash curler and a burly man with a butt chin.
Allen recognized the three at a glance—wasn't this Hellish Blizzard? Was she here to get him to join the Blizzard Group?
"May I ask who you are…?" Allen smiled, but in his heart, he was calculating how to acquire Hellish Blizzard's Psychokinesis.
"Pleased to meet you, Rookie Allen. I am B-Class Rank 1 Hellish Blizzard, you must have heard of me, right?" Hellish Blizzard took a step forward, crossed her arms, and looked directly at Allen with her dark green eyes.
Allen offered a friendly smile and extended his right hand: "So it's Hellish Blizzard. I've heard much about you."
Saitama mumbled softly beside him: "So it's not food delivery after all…"
Hellish Blizzard looked at Allen's outstretched right hand, hesitated for a moment, then lightly grasped it: "It seems you are much more polite than your neighbor."
Allen took the opportunity to activate his Super Evolution ability, and Hellish Blizzard's 3D image and option panel immediately appeared before him.
[Please select the ability to evolve: Psychokinesis, Melee Techniques, Tactical Awareness, Leadership Skills]
He subtly withdrew his hand and clicked on the Psychokinesis option.
[Ability: Psychokinesis]
[Evolution Condition: Defeat Hellish Blizzard]
[After evolution, the host can compress air, create invisible barriers, manipulate objects, etc., but prolonged use will consume stamina, and its intensity will increase based on the original owner's mental strength and the host's mental strength]
Allen looked at the condition on the panel and understood. It seemed that to evolve the core ability of any creature, he had to defeat the other party. That meant Saitama's Limiter would be difficult to obtain.
"Allen-kun, why are you spacing out?" Saitama's voice pulled Allen back to reality.
"Huh? Nothing." Allen snapped back to attention and looked at Hellish Blizzard.
"So, why are you looking for me?" Allen showed Saitama's signature deadpan eyes.
Before the handshake, he had addressed her respectfully as Hellish Blizzard-sama, but after the handshake, his attitude had changed so much?
Hellish Blizzard frowned slightly at the boy whose attitude had done a complete 180, then glanced at the deadpan, bald man next to him. It seemed there was a reason these two became neighbors.
Hellish Blizzard slightly raised her chin, quickly resuming her arrogant expression: "Allen, I'm here to invite you to join the Blizzard Group. As a Rookie, it's your honor to receive my appreciation."
"Are there any benefits?" Allen's voice was flat.
Hellish Blizzard was taken aback, clearly not expecting such directness.
She cleared her throat and straightened her back, saying: "By joining the Blizzard Group, you will gain access to the collective resources of B-Class Heroes, including intelligence sharing, equipment support, and also…"
"Is there a salary and bonus? Is the pay good?" Allen interrupted her.
"This…" Hellish Blizzard's expression became a bit awkward: "There will be some subsidies within the organization…"
"No deal." Allen said, then moved to close the door.
Hellish Blizzard's expression instantly froze. She hadn't expected Allen to refuse so bluntly.
"You! Do you know what you're saying?" Hellish Blizzard's voice held disbelief.
Allen shrugged: "I'm not really interested in joining any organization."
"You!" Hellish Blizzard's chest heaved violently with anger, a flicker of rage in her dark green eyes.
Matsuge, seeing this, immediately jumped out: "You ungrateful Rookie! Hellish Blizzard-sama herself came to invite you!"
"How dare you refuse!"
"Hmph! Trying to escape?" Yamazaru also chimed in, waving his fists.
Saitama yawned beside them: "Allen-kun, don't close the door yet, we need to go grocery shopping."
"Ah—right!" Allen nodded, turning to leave with Saitama.
"Stop!" Hellish Blizzard suddenly snapped.
Her long hair billowed without wind, and faint green energy fluctuations began to emanate around her: "Do you think refusing me is that simple?"
Allen stopped, turning to look at Hellish Blizzard: "What? You want to fight?"
"Since you're unwilling to join, I'll use my strength to make you understand the consequences of refusing me!" Hellish Blizzard waved her hands, and powerful Psychokinesis instantly erupted.
The surrounding air began to distort, and a fierce wind swept towards Allen.
Allen stood his ground, letting the Psychokinesis-formed gale impact him. His clothes flapped wildly, but his feet were rooted to the ground, unmoving.
"Is that all you've got?" Allen tilted his head.
Hellish Blizzard's pupils constricted. Originally, she only wanted to slightly teach this arrogant Rookie a lesson. Now, she was getting serious!
Allen saw Hellish Blizzard preparing to increase the output of her Psychokinesis, and his pupils trembled violently. He might be fine, but that didn't mean his house would be!
Seeing Allen's panicked expression, Hellish Blizzard curved a smile on her face. Finally scared, are we? This is the power of Psychokinesis!
She then prepared to continue increasing the Psychokinesis output, and surrounding objects were lifted just as a tornado was about to form.
Allen moved.
