9:00 pm , the wall clock resonated in the silence of the night. The chime seemed to grow louder by each passing second.
Huffing and panting sounds threw colour in the blank canvas of silence. A man gripped his family as the mother put her hand on the mouth of a boy. They seemed to be extremely terrified of something. The something was a large and towering shadow looming on over the window with it's red eyes slowly coming into view.
The shattered pieces of glass flew in towards the family as the woman lunged towards the boy shielding the blow. A large skeletal hand grabbed the man by his head and tossed him in it's mouth.
The towering withered and skeletal humanoid creature crunched as its meal went down its throat.The ghastly red eyes glowed with a sign of life as blood poured down the jaws.
The woman gasped for air as blood trickled down her mouth. She coughed up blood .
A wooden plank had pierced her stomach as she drew her last breath. Her body slumped on to the floor as the boy fainted from shock.
The view of the city was devastating as streaks of fire spread across the city. Towering figures treaded across the land scape causing destruction in their path.
