The Nursery War: High-Definition Decor & Triple-Threat Teasing
[Author's POV]
By 7:00 PM, the "Powerhouse" was divided. The third-floor nursery suite—a space large enough to house a small tech startup—had become the front line of a 1,000% stylistic conflict.
On one side stood Keifer, surrounded by blueprints and holographic projectors showing a "System-Optimized" nursery. On the other side stood Mamma Serina, armed with swatches of royal gold silk and velvet. Bridget was leaning against the doorway, acting as the "Tactical Instigator."
Jay sat in the center of the room in a plush armchair, looking like a very tired, very beautiful referee.
The "Tech vs. Tradition" Debate
"Mamma, the logic is simple," Keifer argued, pointing to a sleek, chrome-finished crib that looked like it belonged on a spaceship. "This unit has integrated biometric sensors. If the Prince or Princess experiences a 0.5% shift in body temperature, the room's climate control recalibrates instantly. It's 1,000% efficient."
"It's a refrigerator, Keifer!" Mamma Serina countered, waving a piece of gold-embroidered fabric. "A baby needs warmth, soft textures, and the Watson family crest in hand-stitched silk! They are the heirs to an empire, not pieces of hardware for you to 'monitor'!"
"Hardware is reliable, Mamma. Silk is a 'Security Risk' for spills!"
The Teasing Protocol: [The Ladies Unite]
Bridget let out a low whistle, pushing off the doorframe and walking toward Jay. "Look at him, Jay. He's already trying to turn your children into 'Smart-Babies.' I bet that crib has a built-in stock ticker for their afternoon naps."
"It has a white-noise generator calibrated to the frequency of a peaceful forest," Keifer muttered defensively.
"Oh, please," Bridget cackled, turning to Mamma Serina. "Mamma, did you see him earlier? He's been following Jay around all day like a lost puppy. He's so 'distracted' by her 'Glow' that I'm surprised he hasn't tried to baby-proof the air she breathes yet."
Mamma Serina smiled, a mischievous glint in her eyes as she looked at Jay's blushing face. "Actually, Bridget, I heard the 'Alpha CEO' was talking about 'Future Expansion' this morning. Something about... another set of twins?"
The "Triple-Heir" Ambush: [Jay's POV]
I tried to hide my face behind my hands, but the "Glow" was betraying me. "Mamma! He was just... being an arrogant dork! He said he'd give me another two as soon as these two are out!"
"Another two?!" Bridget roared with laughter, slapping her knee. "Keifer, you can barely handle the hormones of one pregnant Jay! You're currently one 'crying spell' away from a total system crash. And you want to go for a 'Triple-Heir' project?"
"I am perfectly capable of scaling the operation," Keifer said, though his ears were turning a very noticeable shade of pink. He walked over to my chair and placed a protective hand on my shoulder. "Jay is a high-performance Empress. Why wouldn't I want to maximize the legacy?"
"Maximize the legacy?!" Bridget teased, leaning into my personal space. "Jay, honey, tell him the truth. Tell him that if he even suggests another baby before you get your wine and your waistline back, you're going to put him in a 'Permanent Lockdown'."
The Final Blow: [Mamma Serina's POV]
I patted Keifer's cheek, unable to stop my own laughter. "Keifer, darling, you're so head-over-heels that you've forgotten how 'Logistics' work. You're flirting with her in the hallways, kissing her hands at lunch, and now you're planning a nursery that looks like a lab."
I looked at Jay, who was giggling despite her exhaustion. "He's so obsessed with you, Jay, that I think he might be the one with the 'Pregnancy Brain.' He can't even look at a blueprint without checking to see if you're comfortable first."
"It's true," Bridget added, winking. "He's gone from 'Ice King' to 'Simp-in-Chief' in five months. It's 1,000% embarrassing for the security team to witness."
The "Sync" Conclusion: [Jay's POV]
"Okay, okay!" I laughed, reaching up to grab Keifer's hand. "The nursery will be a mix. High-tech sensors for Daddy, and Royal Gold silk for Mamma-G. And as for the 'Next Two'..."
I looked up at Keifer, who was staring down at me with so much love it felt like a 2,000% power surge.
"Let's see if you can survive the 'Double-Diaper' duty first, Hubby. If your 'System' doesn't crash from sleep deprivation, maybe we'll talk about Version 3.0."
Keifer smirked, leaning down to kiss my forehead. "Data accepted. But just for the record... I'm already pre-ordering the next two cribs."
"GET OUT!" Bridget and Mamma shouted in unison, throwing silk swatches at him.
