The Name Decryption: Alexander, Aurora, and the Watson War Room
[Author's POV]
The 6th month had officially reached "Naming Protocol" status. The library was no longer a place for quiet reading; it had been converted into a tactical command center. On a massive 4K screen, a list of potential names flickered, while Keifer stood at the head of the long oak table like he was presenting a quarterly earnings report.
Jay sat at the center, surrounded by three different types of pillows, calmly sipping decaf tea. Bridget and Keiran were pacing the perimeter, ready to "peer-review" (read: ruthlessly mock) every suggestion.
The "CEO" Proposal: [Keifer's POV]
I tapped the screen, highlighting the top two entries in a bold, authoritative font.
"After a 1,000% thorough analysis of historical significance, phonetic resonance, and future brand equity," I began, sounding every bit the 'Powerhouse' CEO, "I have finalized the primary designations for the heirs."
I looked at Jay, my voice softening just a fraction. "For our Prince: Alexander. The Great. A conqueror of markets and hearts. And for our Princess: Aurora. The Dawn. The light that restarts the system every morning."
[Jay's POV]
I felt a warmth spread through my chest that had nothing to do with heartburn. "Alexander and Aurora," I whispered, testing the names on my lips. "Alex and Rory. Keifer... they're perfect. The 'Sync' is 100%."
The Chaos Squad Interruption
"VETO!" Keiran shouted, slamming his hands on the table. "Alexander? That's way too formal! He's going to be a Watson! He needs something with 'Velocity'! Like... Nitro Watson. Or Turbo. Or maybe just The Boss."
"Keiran," I growled, my "Alpha" glare locking onto him. "If you suggest naming my son after an engine additive one more time, I will 'Nitro-boost' you out of this estate."
"And Aurora?" Bridget piped up, crossing her arms and smirking. "It's pretty, Jay, I'll give you that. But it's soft. How is she supposed to lead a security detail with a name that sounds like a sleeping beauty? She needs grit! How about Blade? Or Riot? Riot Watson has a 1,000% intimidation factor."
"Bridget," Jay laughed, "I am not naming our daughter 'Riot.' She's an Empress, not a tactical unit."
The "Teasing" Frequency: [Author's POV]
Bridget and Keiran immediately teamed up, as they often did when they sensed Keifer was being "Too Serious."
"Wait, I've got it!" Keiran smirked, looking at Keifer. "Since Keif is so obsessed with data, why don't we just call them Version 1.0 and Version 2.0? Or better yet... Cloud and Storage?"
"Or Macro and Micro!" Bridget added, cackling.
Keifer rubbed his temples, his "Patience Battery" hitting 5%. "They have names. Alexander and Aurora. Those are the 'Verified Files.' Any further 'Data Corruption' from the two of you will result in an immediate 'Access Denied' to the nursery for a week."
"Whoa, easy there, Big Bro!" Keiran held up his hands. "We're just 'stress-testing' the names! You know, making sure they can handle the playground. Imagine the roll call: 'Alexander Watson?' 'Present and ready for a hostile takeover!'"
The Final Designation: [Jay's POV]
I watched Keifer's jaw tighten, but then I saw his eyes drift back to the screen where the names were glowing. He walked over to me, ignoring the chaos squad's laughter, and knelt by my chair.
He placed a hand on the left side of my bump. "Hello, Alexander," he whispered. Then he moved his hand to the right. "And hello, Aurora. Your Father has officially cleared your 'Access Codes'."
The twins responded with a synchronized double-kick that was so strong it actually made the table move.
"See?" I smiled, looking at the shocked faces of Bridget and Keiran. "The Heirs have spoken. They like their names. Any further objections?"
Bridget sighed, her tough exterior finally cracking into a smile. "Fine. Alexander and Aurora it is. But I'm still calling her 'Rory the Riot' when Keifer isn't looking."
"And I'm calling the boy 'X-Man'," Keiran added, winking at me. "He's a Watson. He's basically a superhero anyway."
