Chapter 247 - Chapter 246 6th month

The 6th Month "Capacity" Crisis: A 1,000% Architectural Failure

[Author's POV]

Month six had turned the Watson estate into a high-stakes obstacle course. The "Double-Heir" cargo was no longer a "bump"—it was a "Physical Territory." Jay was now at the stage where her center of gravity had moved to a different zip code, and her "Empress" patience was running on a 1% battery.

Keifer had officially entered "Red Alert" mode. He didn't just walk next to Jay; he functioned as a human stabilizer, a mobile snack-dispenser, and a 2,000% paranoid bodyguard.

The "Morning Navigation" Glitch: [Jay's POV]

I stood in the center of our walk-in closet, staring at a rack of designer silk dresses that I could no longer zip past my ribcage.

"Keifer," I said, my voice dangerously low. "The 'Hardware' has expanded again. None of these 'Files' are compatible with my current 'System'."

[Keifer's POV]

I was in the middle of checking my watch, but the "Distress Signal" in Jay's voice made me drop everything. I walked over, wrapping my arms around her from behind, my hands resting on the massive, beautiful curve of her stomach.

"The architecture is evolving, Weify," I murmured, kissing her shoulder. "You aren't 'Outgrowing' the clothes; you're just outclassing them. I've already ordered the 10:00 AM delivery of the 'Empress-Expansion' collection from Paris. 1,000% silk, 0% zippers."

"I feel like a very beautiful, very heavy planet, Keifer," she sniffled, her mood swinging toward 'Sadness.' "I can't even see my own feet. Are they still there? Can you 'Verify' my toes?"

I knelt down immediately. "Toes located. Status: Painted pink and 100% adorable. Alexander and Aurora are just blocking your line of sight. They've established a 'Visual Perimeter'."

The Afternoon "Squad" Chaos

Downstairs in the grand foyer, Keiran and Bridget were engaged in a 1,000% ridiculous activity. They had set up a "Nursery Supply Line," and boxes were piled up to the ceiling.

"Move it, Keiran!" Bridget shouted, carrying a tactical-grade diaper genie. "If we don't get the 'Alexander' wing and the 'Aurora' wing set up by 15:00 hours, Keifer is going to have a 'Data Meltdown'!"

"I'm trying!" Keiran wheezed, pushing a crate of organic bamboo wipes. "Why do two tiny humans need enough supplies to stock a small country? Are we raising twins or starting a retail chain?!"

[Keifer's POV]

Jay and I reached the top of the stairs. I had my arm firmly around her waist, moving at a speed of 0.5 miles per hour.

"Identify the cargo!" I barked down at them.

"It's the 'Smart-Cribs,' Boss!" Bridget yelled back, grinning up at us. "And about ten thousand onesies. Keiran tried to order one that says 'CEO in Training,' but I swapped it for one that says 'Trouble Maker'. 1,000% more accurate."

"DON'T DROP THE CRIBS!" Keifer roared, his "Protective Protocol" spiking. "The sensors are calibrated to the milligram!"

The "Stuck" Incident: [Jay's POV]

Later that afternoon, I decided I wanted to sit in the oversized beanbag chair in the media room. It looked so soft. So inviting.

I sat down. And then... the gravity of the twins took over. I didn't just sit; I sank.

"Uh... Keifer?" I whispered.

"Yes, Weify?" He was busy measuring the distance between the baby-proofed corners of the coffee table.

"I'm... I'm stuck. The 'Powerhouse' has been 'Anchored'."

[Author's POV]

The scene was pure chaos. Keifer lunged for her, grabbing her hands to pull her up, but the beanbag was like a black hole. Keiran walked in, saw the struggle, and started howling with laughter.

"IT'S A SYSTEM LOCK!" Keiran shouted, doubling over. "The Empress has been neutralized by a pile of foam beads!"

"KEIRAN, HELP ME OR I WILL DELETE YOUR OFFSHORE ACCOUNTS!" Keifer growled, his face red from the effort.

It took Keifer, Keiran, and Bridget—all three of them—to finally hoist Jay out of the beanbag. Once she was on her feet, Jay looked at them, her face transitioning from "Panic" to "Furious" to "Hysterical Laughter" in under three seconds.

"1,000%," Jay gasped, leaning on Keifer while clutching her stomach. "Alexander and Aurora are currently laughing at all of us. I can feel them kicking!"
