Chapter 266 - grand departure

The "Grand Departure": Clearing the Perimeter

[Jay's POV]

The 7th-month baby shower had officially reached its "System Shutdown." The mansion, which had been vibrating with the 2,000% chaotic energy of the University Squad, was finally being restored to its "Quiet Powerhouse" settings.

We all gathered at the grand entrance. Keifer stood behind me, his arms locked around my waist, his chin resting on my shoulder. He looked like a man who had successfully defended his fortress and was now ready to "Eject" the remaining users.

The Squad Log-Out: [Author's POV]

"Alright, people! Movement protocol initiated!" Bridget shouted, tossing Felix the keys to their SUV. "We have a 1,000% chance of hitting traffic if we don't move now. Felix, let's go. I need to 'Decompress' from all this domestic energy."

"Copy that, Commander," Felix laughed, giving Keifer a final nod. "Take care of the 'Double-Heirs', Boss. If you need a tactical diaper-drop in two months, call me."

The rest of the squad filtered out with their usual flair:

Calix & Mica: "Jay! We're sending 'Vibe-Updates' every morning! Don't let the Ice King turn the twins into little CEOs too fast!"

David, Rory, Mayo, & Kit: They gave a synchronized "Powerhouse" salute. "Best buffet in the city, Keif. 10/10 ROI on the catering."

Ella: She gave me a fierce hug, avoiding the "Bump Zone" with expert precision. "I'm going back to my quiet, 'Single-User' apartment. Call me if you need someone to roast Keifer over the phone. 1,000%."

The "New Resident" Protocol: [Jay's POV]

As the last car pulled down the driveway, the silence hit the hallway like a "System Reset." But one person hadn't moved.

Rina was standing near the grand staircase, her hand still tucked into Keigan's arm. Her vintage suitcase—looking 1,000% aesthetic and out of place next to Keigan's sleek tech bags—was sitting by the door.

Mamma Serina walked over, her face glowing with maternal satisfaction. "Now that the 'Noise Files' have been deleted, we can focus on the family. Rina, dear, your room in the East Wing is already 'Synced' with your favorite scents. We've even placed a writing desk by the window."

[Keigan's POV]

I felt a 2,000% surge of relief. My "Fiancée" wasn't leaving. The "Analog Connection" was officially moving into the "Watson Mainframe."

"The 'Transfer' is complete, Rina," I whispered, squeezing her hand. "You're staying. No more 'Snail Mail' delays. Just... 1,000% access."

Rina looked up at the massive chandelier, then at me, her eyes shimmering. "It's a bit bigger than my stationary shop, Keigan. I hope the house is ready for my 'Ink and Paper' habits."

The "Empress" Welcome: [Jay's POV]

I broke away from Keifer's grip and waddled over to Rina, pulling her into a soft hug.

"Rina, I'm so happy you're staying," I whispered. "I need another girl in this house to help me 'Humanize' these Watson men. Between Keifer's 'Security Obsession' and Keigan's 'Algorithm Dating', we have a lot of work to do."

"1,000%," Rina giggled, looking over at the two brothers.

Keifer stepped up, his expression unreadable to anyone but me. He looked at Keigan, then at Rina. "The 'Guest' status is officially revoked, Rina. You are now a 'Permanent User'. If anyone in this house—including the staff or the University Squad—bothers you, you have 'Admin Rights' to call Security."

"Or just call me," I added, patting my bump. "The twins are excellent 'Vocal Firewalls' when they want to be."
