The "Final Deployment": 02:45 AM
[Jay's POV]
The 9th month had reached its absolute "Terminal Capacity." I was lying in bed, surrounded by the "Support Fortress" of pillows Keifer had engineered for me. The room was silent, save for the hum of the high-tech air purifier and the rhythmic, steady breathing of my Hubby beside me.
I felt... strange. It wasn't the usual "Double-Heir" acrobatics. It was a sudden, sharp "System Shift."
Pop.
It was a tiny sound, almost internal, but it felt like a 2,000% "Critical Breach." A second later, a warm gush of fluid soaked the silk sheets. My eyes snapped open.
"Oh... Protocol Initiated," I whispered to the dark room.
The "CEO" Wake-Up Call
I reached over and poked Keifer's shoulder. He didn't just wake up; he "Booted Up" instantly. His eyes were sharp, his "Alpha" senses scanning the room for a threat before he even looked at me.
"Jay? Is it a 'False Alarm'? Do you need the 'Ice-Chip' supply?"
"Keifer," I said, my voice remarkably calm despite the 1,000% adrenaline spike. "The 'Containment Unit' has failed. My water just broke."
For exactly one second, the Great Keifer Watson—the man who handles billion-dollar "Hostile Takeovers" without blinking—experienced a "Total System Freeze." Then, the "Watson Emergency OS" kicked in.
"1,000% certainty?" he asked, throwing back the covers.
"1,000,000%, Hubby. Unless you spilled a gallon of warm water in the last three seconds, the twins are 'Requesting Immediate Exit'."
The "Tactical" Mansion Chaos
Keifer hit a button on his bedside console. Instantly, the "Code Red" lights in the hallway dimmed to a soft, amber "Transport Glow."
"Keigan! Felix! Scramble the 'Primary Transport'!" Keifer's voice boomed through the house intercom. "The Empress is in 'Active Launch Mode'! Secure the perimeter of the driveway!"
I heard doors flying open down the hall.
Bridget's voice: "Tactical Bag is ready! Felix, get the SUV! Move, move, move!"
Keigan's voice: "I'm 'Syncing' the hospital's arrival bay sensors now! Ci-N is already 'Logged In'!"
Mamma Serina: "Stay calm, everyone! Jay, darling, I'm coming in!"
The "Alpha" Escort
Keifer was a blur of high-speed efficiency. He had me in a clean robe and was lifting me into his arms before I could even find my slippers.
"I can walk, Keif!" I protested as a sharp contraction hit my abdomen. "Ow... okay, maybe I can't walk. 50% mobility remaining."
"You are not walking, Jay," he growled, his heart beating 2,000% against my chest as he carried me toward the door. "I am the 'Primary Transport'. You just focus on 'Managing the Payload'."
We reached the top of the stairs. The whole "Squad" was there: Pappa Keizer looking intense, Rina clutching a notebook (probably to document the "Analog" miracle of birth), and Keiran holding three different portable chargers.
"Is the 'Med-Evac' route clear?" Keifer barked at Felix.
"1,000%, Boss," Felix replied, holding the front door open. "The city's 'Traffic Grid' has been... 'Adjusted' for our passage."
The "Peralta" Dash
As Keifer settled me into the back of the reinforced SUV, he climbed in beside me, never letting go of my hand. Another contraction hit—stronger this time.
"Keifer," I gasped, squeezing his hand so hard I heard his knuckles crack. "If you try to 'Analyze' my pain levels right now, I will 'Delete' you."
"I am 'Silent-Mode' only, Weify," he promised, kissing my sweaty forehead. "Just 'Transmitting' my strength to you. We're five minutes from Peralta. Ci-N is waiting at the 'Docking Station'."
I looked out the window at the blurred lights of the city. The "Double-Heir" project was no longer a plan. It was happening.
"Alexander, Aurora," I whispered, closing my eyes as the SUV roared toward the hospital. "Get ready. Your Daddy is about to meet his 'New Bosses'."
