Chapter 291 - 6 months

The "Mobility Milestone": The Great 6-Month Sprint

[Jay's POV]

Six months had passed, and the Watson Mansion had officially transitioned from a "Nursery" to a "Tactical Testing Ground." The "Double-Heirs" were no longer just inputs and outputs; they were 1,000% mobile, high-velocity "Data-Seekers."

The entire "Squad" was gathered in the Grand Living Room. Keifer had cleared the area of any "Sharp-Edged Assets," and the floor was covered in a custom, 2,000% organic-fiber play mat.

"The perimeter is secure," Keifer announced, holding his tablet to "Track" the movement speed. "The 'Primary Targets' are in position. Alexander, Aurora... initialize 'Forward Motion'."

The Competitors: [Keifer's POV]

I knelt at the finish line (a line of blue painters' tape I'd measured with a laser). I was holding the "High-Value Incentive"—a pair of my spare silver cufflinks for Alexander and Jay's vintage diamond tennis bracelet for Aurora.

"The 'Incentive Structure' is set, Jay," I whispered, my heart rate "Ping-ing" with excitement.

Alexander was in the "High-Plank" position. He looked like a "Watson Enforcer"—focused, determined, his brow furrowed in a 1,000% "Ice King" scowl. Beside him, Aurora was sitting elegantly, looking at the "Incentive" with a look of "Market Analysis." She wasn't going to move unless the "ROI" was worth the energy.

The "Launch" Sequence: [Jay's POV]

"Go!" I cheered, clapping my hands.

Mamma Serina and Pappa Keizer were on the sidelines, looking more stressed than a board meeting during a market crash. Ci-N, Keigan, and Bridget were leaning over the sofas, recording the "System Update" on their phones.

Alexander was the first to "Deploy." He let out a loud, aggressive "Gah!" and started a "Commando Crawl." His little legs were kicking, his belly dragging across the mat.

"He's 'Aggressive'!" Pappa Keizer shouted, nearly falling off his chair. "Look at that 'Forward Momentum'! He's 'Acquiring' the cufflinks!"

"Go, Alexander!" Bridget roared. "Tactical crawl! Keep your 'Profile' low!"

The "Bossy" Strategy: Aurora's Move

While Alexander was 50% of the way to the finish line, sweating and grunting, Aurora finally decided to "Execute."

She didn't do the "Commando Crawl." She popped up onto all fours with a level of "Structural Integrity" that made Ci-N gasp. She looked at her brother, who was currently struggling with a "Slippery Surface" glitch, and let out a sharp, mocking "Kek-kek!"

"She's 'Analyzing' his weakness!" Keigan laughed. "She's waiting for the 'Buffer' to clear!"

Suddenly, Aurora didn't just crawl—she bolted. It was a "High-Speed Sync" movement. She bypassed Alexander on the left, her little hands hitting the mat with 2,000% precision.

The Photo Finish: [Jay's POV]

Alexander saw her passing him. His eyes went wide. He "Overclocked" his little limbs, grunting like a tiny athlete. The room was deafening.

"AURORA! ALEXANDER! MOVE!" the whole family screamed.

Aurora reached the blue tape first. She didn't grab the bracelet. She looked at the bracelet, then looked at the cufflinks, and with a swift, "Hostile Takeover" move, she grabbed both.

"She just 'Liquidated' his prize!" Ci-N howled, falling back onto the sofa in laughter. "1,000% Hostile Takeover!"

Alexander reached the line a second later, face-planting into Keifer's hands with a tired but proud "Baaaa!"

The Victory Celebration: [Keifer's POV]

I picked up both of them, one on each arm. Alexander was panting, his "System" exhausted. Aurora was sitting on my other arm, holding the bracelet and cufflinks with a look of 2,000% "Managerial Superiority."

"1,000%," I whispered, kissing both their foreheads.

"The 'Data' is conclusive, Keif," Jay said, wrapping her arms around my neck as the family crowded around us. "Alexander is the 'Executioner', but Aurora is definitely the 'CEO'."

"I agree," Pappa Keizer said, wiping a stray tear (which he would 1,000% deny later). "The Watson Legacy has officially 'Mobile Status'. The 'Market' isn't ready for these two."

"Neither is the mansion's 'Interior Design'," Mamma Serina laughed, looking at the baby-proofing we were going to need.
