The "Grand Takeover": Aurora vs. The Global Board
[Jay's POV]
At six months old, Aurora Serina Watson didn't just crawl; she "conquered."
Keifer had a high-stakes, emergency board meeting with the heads of his Asian and European divisions. It was a "Code Red" situation involving a 5 billion semiconductor merger. He had retreated to the "Glass Command Center"—his high-tech home office—and had strictly forbidden any "System Interruptions."
"Jay," he had said, adjusting his cufflinks with lethal focus. "This meeting is 1,000% critical. If the 'Double-Heirs' breach the perimeter, my 'Negotiation Alpha' will drop by at least 40%. Keep them in the 'Soft-Zone' (the nursery)."
I tried. I really did. But Alexander was currently "System Crashing" over a missing plushie, and Aurora... well, Aurora had seen Keifer walk into that office with a tablet she hadn't "vetted" yet.
The Breach: [Keifer's POV]
I was in the middle of a "Hostile Rejection" of a merger clause. My face was projected on twelve massive screens across three continents.
"The 'Valuation' is sub-standard," I barked at the London Director. "If you think the Watson Group will 'Authorize' a—"
Thump. Thump. Thump.
A small, wet palm hit the reinforced glass door of my office. I ignored it. My "Ice King" focus was a 1,000% shield.
Then, the door—which I had neglected to "Lock-Down" in my haste—creaked open. Aurora didn't cry. She didn't giggle. She performed a "High-Velocity Crawl" straight to my ergonomic chair, pulled herself up using my 4,000 trousers, and let out a sharp, commanding "EH!"
The entire board of directors went silent. On the Tokyo feed, the Chairman leaned in, squinting through his glasses. "Mr. Watson... is there a 'New Consultant' on your end?"
The "Bossy" Audit: [Jay's POV]
I rushed to the door, peering in. I saw Keifer frozen. Aurora had managed to climb onto his lap. She wasn't looking at him; she was staring at the twelve faces on the monitor wall with a look of "Extreme Skepticism."
"Keif, I'm so sorry!" I whispered, reaching for her.
"Wait," Keifer said, raising a hand to stop me. He looked at Aurora. She had grabbed his "Executive Stylus" and was currently pointing it at the screen, specifically at the London Director who was trying to argue for a lower payout.
"Bah! Da! BAH!" Aurora shouted, hitting the desk for emphasis.
"She... she seems to 'Disagree' with the Sterling Group's proposal," Keifer said into his headset, his voice regained its "CEO Gravity" but with a hint of 2,000% "Simp-Pride."
The "Hostile" Takeover: [Author's POV]
The London Director laughed nervously. "Well, if the 'Lady Aurora' finds our terms 'Sub-Standard', perhaps we should 'Re-Evaluate'."
Aurora didn't stop there. She reached out and slapped the "Mute All" button on the console. Then, she looked at Keifer, pointed at his coffee cup, and then pointed at the door.
"She's 'Terminating' the meeting," Ci-N whispered from behind me, having appeared out of nowhere to witness the chaos. "She's decided the 'Board' is boring and her 'Primary Caretaker' needs to take her to the garden. 1,000% Hostile Takeover."
Keifer looked at the screens. He looked at his daughter, who was now "Analyzing" his tie by trying to untie it.
"Gentlemen," Keifer said, unmuting for one final second. "The 'Managing Director' has 'Vetoed' this session. We will reconvene when your 'Data' is more... 'Impressive' to my daughter. Meeting Closed."
The Aftermath: [Jay's POV]
Keifer walked out of the office a minute later, carrying Aurora on his hip. She was holding his stylus like a scepter and looking 2,000% satisfied.
"You just 'Liquidated' a 5 billion dollar meeting for her, didn't you?" I asked, taking Aurora from him.
"I didn't 'Liquidate' it, Jay," Keifer said, finally loosening his tie. "I 'Optimized' it. She was right—the London Director's 'Body Language' was weak. She 'Hacked' his bluff before I did."
He kissed Aurora's forehead. "1,000% Watson. She's already 'Managing' the global markets."
"And your 'Alpha' energy?" I teased.
"It's been 'Redistributed'," Keifer sighed, looking at his daughter. "I'm just the 'Chief Operating Officer' now. She's the 'Chairwoman'
