The "Watson-Standard" Wedding: Chaos at the Altar
[Jay's POV]
The day of Keigan and Rina's wedding finally arrived. The Watson Estate was transformed into an "Autumnal Noir" masterpiece. The air was crisp, the decor was 1,000% "High-Contrast," and the University Squad was in a state of absolute "System Overload."
Keifer had designed a "Tactical Wedding Protocol," but he forgot one crucial detail: the University Squad doesn't follow "Logic." They follow "Chaos."
02:00 PM: The "Groomsmen" Glitch [Keifer's POV]
I was in the dressing suite, attempting to ensure the "Visual Fidelity" of the squad.
"Ci-N! Your tie is at a 15-degree 'Alignment Error'!" I snapped. "Keiran, stop attempting to 'Calculate' the volume of the champagne fountain and put on your jacket!"
"Relax, Ice King," Ci-N laughed, currently distracted by Alexander.
Alexander was our "Ring Enforcer." He was dressed in a tiny charcoal tuxedo, but he had decided the velvet ring pillow was a "Tactical Shield." He was currently "Defending" the rings by sitting on them and growling at anyone who approached.
"He's 'Gatekeeping' the assets, Keif!" Keiran wheezed. "He's 'Authenticating' the Groom's identity before he releases the hardware!"
03:30 PM: The "Flower-Girl" Coup [Jay's POV]
In the bridal suite, the "Bachelorette Squad" was facing a much more "Aggressive" challenge. Aurora was the "Lead Flower Girl," and she had already "Fired" the professional wedding coordinator.
"Aurora, honey, the petals go on the floor," I explained, showing her the silk basket.
Aurora looked at the basket. She looked at the floor. Then she looked at Bridget and Felix, who were standing guard. She let out a sharp "NO!" and began to "Systematically" hand the petals to individual guests, pointing at their laps.
"She's 'Distributing' the assets based on 'Merit', Jay!" Bridget whispered, looking terrified. "She's 'Auditing' the guests' fashion and only giving petals to those who meet her 'Style Specifications'!"
"She just 'Vetoed' Pappa Keizer's boutonnier!" Rina laughed nervously from behind her veil. "She's 'Managing' my wedding, Jay. I'm just a 'Consultant' now!"
04:00 PM: The Ceremony "Sync" [Author's POV]
The music started—a high-fidelity orchestral version of a classic track. The Squad took their positions.
Alexander marched down the aisle first. He didn't walk; he "Stomped." He reached the altar, saw Keigan, and instead of handing over the rings, he let out a loud "GAH!" and tried to "Integrate" himself into Keigan's leg.
"The 'Ring Enforcer' has 'Cling-Mode' enabled!" Keiran whispered loudly, causing the front row to erupt in giggles.
Then came Aurora. She didn't throw petals. She "Inspected" each row of the University Squad. When she got to Ci-N, she noticed he was checking his phone. She stopped dead in the middle of the aisle, put her hands on her hips, and let out a sharp "EH!" until he tucked the phone away in shame.
"She's 'Enforcing' a 'Digital Blackout'!" Felix choked out, trying to stay professional.
The "I Do" Interruption: [Jay's POV]
Keigan and Rina stood at the altar. The officiant began the vows. "Do you, Keigan, take Rina—"
"MA-MA! DAD-DA!" The "Double-Heirs" had decided the "Vows" were a "Group Presentation." Alexander had successfully climbed Keifer like a tree, and Aurora had marched up to the altar to "Audit" the marriage certificate.
She grabbed the pen, looked at the document, and gave a single, firm nod. "OKAY. NOW."
The whole University Squad lost it. Keifer stood there, holding a struggling Alexander, looking at his bossy daughter at the altar, and then at me.
"1,000%," Keifer murmured, his "Ice King" mask completely shattered by a smile.
"1,000% what, Hubby?" I asked, leaning against him.
"1,000% 'System Success'," he said, as Keigan and Rina finally kissed amidst the "Heir-Induced" chaos. "The 'Watson Legacy' isn't just about 'Control' anymore, Jay. It's about the 'Chaos' we built together."
