The knocking didn't stop.
Louder. Harder.
"Open the door!" the voice repeated.
Aarav moved first.
"Stay behind me," he said.
Meher shook her head slightly—
But still stepped back.
Reyaan stood alert.
Aarav slowly opened the door.
Three men stood outside.
Not police.
Not security.
"Come with us," one of them said coldly.
Aarav's eyes narrowed.
"Who are you?"
No answer.
"Now," the man repeated.
Tension filled the air.
Meher stepped forward.
"I'm not going anywhere."
The man looked at her calmly.
"You already have."
Before anyone could react—
Two more men appeared from behind.
Aarav moved instantly.
"Don't touch her!"
A brief struggle—
Fast. Sudden.
Reyaan grabbed one of them—
Pushed him back.
"RUN!" Aarav shouted.
Meher didn't hesitate this time.
She ran.
Down the corridor.
Heart racing.
Behind her—
Footsteps.
Aarav and Reyaan were holding them back—
But not for long.
She reached the stairs—
Almost slipping—
But didn't stop.
Outside—
Heavy rain.
She ran into it.
Behind—
The men rushed out too.
One of them shouted—
"Don't let her get away!"
A black car started.
Meher's breath grew heavier.
No plan.
Just instinct.
Suddenly—
A car stopped in front of her.
Door opened.
"GET IN!" a voice shouted.
She froze for a second.
It was Rishan.
No time to think.
She jumped in.
The car sped off.
Behind them—
The black car followed.
Inside—
Meher looked back.
Heart pounding.
"They're not stopping…" she said.
Rishan's grip tightened on the wheel.
"They won't."
Pause.
"But neither will we."
Rain blurred everything outside.
A chase had begun.
And now—
There was no safe place left.
