Chapter 3 - Great Uncle!

"Moonlight!" he glances at Moonlight "Cloud!" then to Cloud. "Both of you come, let's get it over with."

"Huh!" The duo said in unison.

Febia stays quiet, tiny pores of sweat trickled down her face.

"Come. I'm sure Moonlight you have a question you want to ask. Today is your last day…hmm… second to last of you think about it properly."

They watched.

"Hmph…can't believe it will end that easily. I still have Mera , Life's still good." Great Uncle continued. "So, come to the tree at the second entrance and we will…"

He turns his back, racking his brain about something. Everyone watched in neutral.

"I've got it!" He faces the crowd again. Then gives a slight cough to clear his throat, "You both are leaving by tomorrow, and there're things I want to tell you, both. Leaving this island means you will see things you've never seen, meeting new sites and meeting new people. Some of you have never left thing the house while some have."

"We are only two." Cloud interrupts.

"Shh…" He continues, "You have both enjoyed your time here and that time is over. For someone like Moonlight, I'm not sure if he will see the outside as hell but, his curiosity may work well for him. I'm going to let you have your meal and during noon come to the tree; not the tall but the small."

With that, he made his way to the first seat and a blonde haired maid took care of him, literally.

Great Uncle had black long hair reaching his knee. A teenager face, black eyes, and long sleeved black shirt and some baggy trousers with numerous patterns. He placed nothing on his feet, so he was bare-footed at the moment.

Moonlight watched him speak and said nothing as he had no chance to do so. Great Uncle is an unpredictable individual. Sometimes he's serious, playful, and lazy. And the scary fact is, each time he plays an emotion he does it perfectly; Too perfect.

Immediately after breakfast everyone retreated back to their various quarters. Great Uncle to who knows where, Cloud still in the same boat, and Moonlight back to his natural habitat. Febia looked at Moonlight with glary eyes.

As Moonlight entered the library, he shivered. Not at the cold; but the library itself. An ordinary individual would have taken a break after that incidence, but, Moonlight was no ordinary.

He began counting his fingers, "Am I not already done? That book was the last book in here. If that's true, then…"

He ran.

Through the expansive library that seemed infinite. Thousands, millions, trillions or maybe even more, number of books piled this place the first Moonlight stepped in. But, now, somehow, Moonlight has read every single one.

"No…" he cried.

He climbed each step, picked multiple books and yet, to no avail. He looked at the contents and realized indeed he was done with them. A sharp pain tore through his heart.

"Is this what they call betrayal?" He murmured in his dilemma. Holding his pains, he headed to his room to cool off. This event was worse than anything to him.

Sluggishly, slowly, he walked through the halls of the third floor. The third floor occupies the Adna's and their personal guest.

"This house is so magnificent." A voice echoed.

"Yea, let's rush down. Don't want to roam on these floors for too long." Another followed.

"It's such a great thing to—Ah…"

The conversation stopped. Three women dressed same as May passed through Moonlight. Staring at him in curiosity, after he passed, they felt relieved.

They laughed silently. "Is that the shut…" they murmured.

Soon enough, they were out of plain sight.

Moonlight paid no heed. This time, he was broken physically and mentally. He pressed his hands on the knob and gave a downed sigh.

The door made a squeak sound.

"Who are you?!" Moonlight asks loudly.

"Good Morning Moonlight, my son
