I pushed through the penthouse door to find Mera sprawled across the couch in one of my shirts. Nothing else. Just the shirt and her tail curling lazily against the cushions.
"You're back early."
"Training ended. Reeves seemed satisfied with our progress."
Mera sat up. The shirt rode higher on her thighs. "Our progress. Meaning you and the golden boy actually worked together without murdering each other."
