To those who were not in town for the past couple of weeks, the Viscount of the Harrington—Lord Harrington and Miss Beaumont has gotten married. The marriage of the season and definitely many more to come.
To curious eyes, This Author has unfortunately been excluded from the wedding of the Viscount and his Viscountess as it was said to be a small, intimate, family affair but to those curious and have wagered out a price. Viscount Harrington did mention that his marriage is indeed a love-match....
A happy married life to the couple.
As this season comes to an end and This Author put down her quill for a bit, the question on This Author's mind is which of the Harrington's will bow down to their mama and get married next season?.

The week following the engagement breakfast, Lady Harrington arrived in town with Iris and a letter from Benedict and Catherine congratulating their brother on his soon-to-be marriage.
Benedict's letter was a short one detailing how he knew his brother cannot be stupid for a long time not while Miss Hiliary and Lucia were around to which Nicholas chuckled.
Catherine's own however was more emotional.
"Nico, I do not really know how to write how I feel but Mother said it is best for me to do it anyway. I would be lying if I said I am doing much better when it is the total opposite.
It is great that I had Benedict here with me but sometimes I wish Henry was still here. I do not want to bother you when you've given us such good news on your engagement. I trust that she is a good and nice lady and cannot wait to meet her probably after my mourning days are over.
I wanted to let you know that each day is better than the last and in no time, I will heal with Henry's memory with me.
I wish you the very best in your marriage and cannot wait to see you soon.
Also, I hope the stupidity Benedict and Lucia mentioned has decreased.
Your favorite sister
Catherine."
Nicholas could not stop crying from the letter but he knew that Catherine would eventually be alright. She will be.
"I am confused on what to wear," Iris said barging into his study. "Green or Lilac?" She asked as she hold up the dresses in front of him
"And what makes you think I am in the best position to ask that from?" He asked as he fold the letter back and place it in his drawer.
"Is that what you are going to tell Helena if she asks you the same question when you are married?" She asked him in return.
"Green." He replied.
"Lilac it is." She said before heading out.
Did her journey back home turn her deaf?. He said green. Arguing with someone like her is pointless anyway.
A brief knock was on the door before his mother made her way in.
"I wanted to talk to you alone." She said as she entered the room and sit in front of him.
"Go ahead."
"Thank you." She simply said and Nicholas frowned in confusion.
"For being there for Amelia and taking her away from that monster." She explained.
"It is my duty mother," he said staring at her. "And as much as Amelia wants me not to say it, it is my fault."
"No it is not," she said quietly. "If anything it is my fault for not interrogating her when I went over when Marina was born. The deed is done and the best thing for us to do now is to make sure that she and the children are okay. Lady Curringworth is planning on travelling to meet her relative by the end of the season. It might be best for Amelia to take the time off and enjoy herself before we figure out what to do about the situation." She explained and he nodded.
"Now," he began. "Will you tell me the real reason why you are here?" He asked.
"I realized that I haven't asked you," she began as she look at her husband's portrait before looking back at her son. "Do you love her?."
Nicholas could not stop the laughter. "Yes Mother, I am very much and madly in love with her." He said with a big smile.
"And that's all that matters." She said before heading out.

The wedding was a small and private affair with only the close families invited and in no time, Nicholas and Helena were pronounced man and wife.
"So you are officially mine." She said with a smile.
"I have been yours for a long time." He said before sealing the deal with a deep kiss.
