"Mr. Dumbledore, what brings you here—"
Healer Albert looked astonished. He hurriedly put down the medical records he was flipping through and walked quickly to the door to greet this sudden, distinguished guest.
"Relax, young man,"
Dumbledore comforted him softly, "I'm not some Ministry of Magic employee here for an inspection... I just happened to hear that Hogwarts' Potions Professor and the star Seeker of the Montrose Magpies both came down with food poisoning, and I couldn't help but come to see how they're doing."
"Has the cause of the poisoning been identified yet?"
Albert straightened his collar and respectfully reported the latest progress of the investigation to Dumbledore:
"Uh... so far, we haven't found any conclusive evidence as to what exactly caused this food poisoning incident—but based on preliminary analysis and judgment, it's highly likely that an underage young Wizard got too excited while playing a prank, which triggered a Magic Outburst."
"A Magic Outburst?"
Dumbledore frowned, repeating the words thoughtfully.
Albert nodded quickly in affirmation, then further explained in detail:
"After carefully examining the food samples sent by Mrs. Snape, we didn't detect any obvious Potion ingredients or toxic substances. We only detected extremely faint magical fluctuations in the sauce within the sandwiches."
"Therefore, it can be inferred that these two patients likely accidentally consumed food containing this trace amount of magic, which disrupted their originally balanced magical systems and ultimately caused a series of abnormal physical conditions..."
"But this is just a hypothesis, and there are still many doubts. For instance, the idea of adult Wizards, who are physically strong and full of magic, being invaded by the magic of a young child is somewhat unrealistic... but it is indeed the most likely explanation at present."
Dumbledore picked up the sample sandwich, sniffed it, then raised his eyebrows and set it aside.
"It seems Hogwarts will welcome a very promising student in the future."
Dumbledore chuckled and patted Harley's head.
With Dumbledore present, the healers at St. Mungos naturally didn't dare to be slack. They hurriedly conducted a more detailed and comprehensive physical examination on Severus and James again.
Unfortunately, after all that effort, aside from noticing a slight magical disorder in the two men, they found nothing of actual value or noteworthy abnormality.
Once all the examinations were finished, the healer named Albert shifted his gaze from Severus and James to Harley.
He proposed conducting a comprehensive magic detection test for Harley Snape.
Neither Severus nor Lily seemed to care much about this, but Dumbledore, who had been sitting quietly in his chair, suddenly stood up and declined the magic test on Harley's behalf.
"Regarding the magic detection for Harley, I will handle it personally later. Please do not trouble yourselves over it. St. Mungos' priority now is to find a way to cure Mr. Snape and Mr. Potter as soon as possible."
Facing the firm Dumbledore, the St. Mungos staff were clearly unwilling to risk offending him by insisting on performing a magic test on an underage Wizard.
Albert immediately stated that he was willing to arrange for Severus and James to be admitted for observation temporarily, and promised to find an effective treatment plan within the next three days.
Dumbledore was quite satisfied with St. Mungos' cooperation. He left Lupin and Sirius there to accompany the two patients and instructed Lily to take Harley and follow him to the Hogs Head Pub in Hogsmeade.
As soon as they stepped through the door of the Hogs Head Pub, a slightly annoyed female voice rang out: "Albus, you actually went behind my back and snuck some honey again last night—I've warned you repeatedly how many times now? With your current health, you simply can't handle too much sugary food!"
A silver-haired old woman with a kind face but a furious expression slammed the dirty rag in her hand onto the table. She walked straight up to Dumbledore, her eyes wide with anger as she began to scold him.
Facing this sudden outburst from the old woman, Dumbledore was momentarily at a loss. He quickly explained, "Ariana, it's not what you think—"
"Hmph, save your excuses!"
Before Dumbledore could finish, another voice cut in.
The speaker looked as if he were carved from the same mold as Dumbledore, only with a bit more schadenfreude in his smile.
This person said gleefully to Dumbledore, "Hehe, stop lying. I saw you last night with my own eyes, begging Gellert to smuggle a whole big jar of honey in for you! That jar is hidden in the secret compartment behind the bookshelf in your bedroom..."
Dumbledore sighed and turned to look at Grindelwald, who was following behind. Grindelwald's eyes darted away, not daring to meet Dumbledore's gaze.
He also felt that Dumbledore eating too many sweets was bad for his health, but he couldn't bring himself to be firm. So, when he smuggled the honey, he "accidentally" let Aberforth, who didn't get along with Albus, find out.
"Alright, I apologize, Ariana. Please, save me some face in front of the little one."
Dumbledore stepped aside, revealing Harley, whose brain had stalled, and Lily, who had an expression like she was watching a play.
Harley was truly stunned now—she had actually seen a living Ariana Dumbledore who hadn't turned into an Obscurus!
From the looks of it, whether Dumbledore had been reborn or had prophesied the subsequent plot, he knew everything before Ariana was six!
Harley looked at Dumbledore, then at Grindelwald beside him. It seemed this wise man had put in some effort to prevent Grindelwald from digging his own grave.
At least now Ariana was still alive, and Grindelwald wasn't locked away for life.
But since Dumbledore had the ability to prevent Ariana's death and Grindelwald's imprisonment, why didn't he stop Tom Riddle from rising back then?
Logically, Dumbledore had countless opportunities to stage an accident and take out little Tom before Lord Voldemort rose, or at least keep him suppressed so he couldn't grow.
Yet things had proceeded as the prophecy written, except this time the savior was Neville Longbottom.
Harley suddenly felt that the Wizarding World she had transmigrated into wasn't that simple. A web of unknown conspiracy had entangled her since she followed her parents back to Great Britain.
