Chapter 70 - Chapter 75: The Black Hole of Absolute Stillness

The Celestial Crisis

From the furthest reaches of the cosmic void, a terrifying entity arrived on Earth—'The Velocity Master.' This being was a creature of pure kinetic energy, believing that movement was the only definition of life. To him, stillness was a sin. Upon his arrival, he began to accelerate the atomic vibration of everything on the planet. Humans began to speak, walk, and work at such a frantic pace that their bodies could no longer handle the friction. Cities began to glow with a dull red heat as the air itself started to ignite from the sheer speed of movement. While the world screamed in a blurred frenzy of forced productivity, Emon was lying under his ancient banyan tree, lost in a nap so deep it seemed prehistoric. His snoring was slow, rhythmic, and heavy, echoing like the beating of a mountain's heart.

The Encounter

The Velocity Master descended upon Emon's village, intending to turn this "sluggish speck" into a streak of lightning. However, as he entered a hundred-meter radius around Emon, he stopped dead. He was shocked to find that within this circle, time and motion had ceased to exist. The grass didn't sway, the wind didn't blow, and even the light seemed to linger lazily in the air. The Velocity Master launched a barrage of kinetic bolts at Emon, but Emon's "Absolute Inertia Field" simply absorbed the energy. In his dream, Emon was floating on a vast, silent ocean, and this mental state of total relaxation was projecting a physical field that neutralized all external force.

The Mega Twist

As the Velocity Master reached out to strike Emon's chest, he found himself trapped in a web of stillness. His billion-year momentum vanished in a fraction of a second. It was then that the true nature of Emon's existence was revealed: Emon was not merely lazy; he was the universe's "Great Balancer." Whenever the cosmos becomes too chaotic or moves too fast toward its own destruction, nature produces a being like Emon—a living black hole of boredom that swallows excess energy to maintain universal equilibrium. The Velocity Master fell to his knees, experiencing the profound peace of "Zero" for the first time in eternity. Emon opened one eye, let out a massive yawn, and muttered, "Brother, keep it down. I haven't finished the mango in my dream yet." He rolled over and went back to sleep, and instantly, the world's frantic vibration stabilized.
