Chapter 17 - Chapter 18: New Horizons of Humanity

After the launch of the "Hope for Tomorrow" foundation, Emon's life gained a new momentum. His days were no longer spent merely tracking business graphs or stock market fluctuations; instead, most of his time was now occupied by video calls, watching the smiling faces of sick children from various corners of the world. Emon's physical condition had deteriorated further, and he occasionally had to rely on oxygen cylinders, yet the pace of his work seemed to have increased a hundredfold. As Emon was planning to lay the foundation stone of his foundation's first major project—'The Phoenix Children's Hospital'—from the main office in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, a new challenge arose before him.

A powerful global pharmaceutical company, which had enjoyed a monopoly in the market for so long, began to see Emon's plan for free medical care as a threat to their business. Behind the scenes, they started pressuring other businessmen to stop donating to Emon's foundation. But Emon knew that he didn't just have money on his side; he had the prayers of thousands of people. He called a virtual conference with his former rivals, who had now become his allies. Emon spoke in a calm voice, "Friends, we might be able to buy many things with money, but the satisfaction of saving a child's life cannot be provided by any bank balance." Seeing Emon's resolve, even those large companies were forced to step back. Emon realized that when the purpose is noble, the entire world comes forward to help. Despite his fragile health, he insisted on supervising the hospital's construction himself, which inspired his entire team anew.
