"I might be dying."

Kenta's consciousness was a bit blurry from being kissed. Because Jingliu refused to let go, he couldn't breathe at all. But she clearly didn't realize this; in fact, her actions became more and more intense.

"No, buddy, where are your hands going? There are still people here, hey!" Kenta realized something was seriously wrong and quickly used a Black Flame Teleportation to flash away. He scrambled to his feet, a bit disheveled, and looked at Jingliu warily.

Jingliu, on the other hand, perhaps because her emotions had been vented, didn't appear overly agitated or frantic when Kenta escaped her grasp this time. Instead, she calmly stood up. After a moment of silence, she turned her gaze to him.

"Kenta, perhaps you've forgotten many things due to certain reasons—but," her tone paused, and her magnificent red eyes no longer held only obsession, but a hint of an indescribable emotion. "This is not my fault... nor is it hers."

As soon as she said this, the strangely ambiguous atmosphere that had formed due to their intimate actions earlier instantly vanished. Dan Heng closed his eyes, saying nothing. Blade also gnashed his teeth in irritation and turned his head away.

But Jingliu seemed oblivious to these changes, and regardless of whether Kenta could understand her, she continued to speak to herself. "Kenta, you broke the promise first. You not only failed me... but also failed Baiheng..."

Kenta: "..."

He opened his mouth but said nothing. Don't misunderstand, it wasn't that he found anything difficult to say, but rather—What is this guy talking about?

Can you say something I can understand? I've already told you I have amnesia. No matter how much you criticize me here, if you don't tell me the whole story, I can't react! He thought this, and also wondered why all these people who knew his past refused to tell him about it. He had asked Jing Yuan before, but aside from some irrelevant matters, Jing Yuan had mostly brushed him off.

But just as he was about to question Jingliu again, a man's voice rang out from not far away. "Heh, are you all here? How rare. The High-Cloud Quintet and the Carefree Wanderer actually have a day of reunion."

Kenta looked towards the source of the voice and saw that the newcomer was Jing Yuan.

"General!" Yanqing shouted excitedly. In the young man's eyes, since General Jing Yuan had arrived, the fate of these criminals being imprisoned was already sealed.

Jing Yuan arrived on the platform, first surveyed the people present, and then bowed to Jingliu. "Master, I didn't expect to see you here."

Yanqing: "???"

He first looked at Jing Yuan in disbelief, then cast a very shocked gaze at Jingliu. Wait, what did the General just call her? Master? So, that means... she's my grandmaster? No, didn't I call her big sister earlier... Yanqing's brain was now in a state of rapid thought. His CPU overloaded for a moment, leaving him stunned.

Jingliu also seemed very surprised by Jing Yuan's sudden appearance. "Hmm? Jing Yuan? Never mind, you don't need to call me Master anymore, just call me Jingliu."

Jing Yuan smiled at her words, taking it as an acknowledgment. Suddenly, Kenta clutched his forehead, his body swaying.

"Not good, I've used a bit too much Black Flame today." He shook his head, a bit painfully. Fortunately, his mind was still clear, but the side effects made him feel dizzy and his reaction speed decreased significantly.

"Kenta! Are you not..." Jingliu's cold demeanor instantly vanished at the sight. But just as she was about to step forward to support him, she suddenly froze—because someone was faster than her.

Kafka, who was closer to Kenta, directly stepped forward and helped him. "Kenta, are you alright?" The woman's left hand wrapped around his shoulder from behind, while her right hand was thoughtfully placed on his chest. She leaned down slightly, her voice incredibly gentle.

Kenta: "..."

He looked at Jingliu's abruptly halted movement and her aura, which was becoming dangerous again, and suddenly felt like crying without tears. I'm actually fine, really—but I might not be fine soon. Although he had no proof, his intuition told him that Kafka was doing it on purpose.

At the crucial moment, Jing Yuan came to the rescue. He quickly walked forward, smoothing things over. "Kenta, and... Dan Heng—right? Your friends on the Astral Express are waiting for you. Why don't we go together?" He winked at Kenta.

Kenta instantly understood. "Ah, yes, yes, yes! No time to lose, let's go!" He subtly pushed Kafka away, then intended to leave the scene with Dan Heng and Jing Yuan.

But before he could take a few steps, Jingliu stopped him. "I told you, you're not going anywhere." At this moment, the black veil used to conceal her eyes had been re-donned. Her tone was calm, but Kenta could faintly hear a hint of threat.

However, as Kenta remained silent, a new change occurred. "My benefactor~" A familiar voice suddenly rang out from behind him. He turned his head and found that Tingyun had appeared.

"Tingyun? Shouldn't you be with Stelle and the others? How did you end up here?" Kenta asked, puzzled.

"Oh~ You mean that." She opened her fan, covering her mouth with a light laugh. "This humble one is here to deliver a message. Miss Stelle and the others have something they want me to tell you privately, my benefactor."

Kenta nodded at her words, his somewhat dulled senses not detecting anything unusual. After roughly feeling that it should be fine, he moved a few steps closer to her.

"Benefactor, could you lean down a bit." The fox lady half-covered her mouth with her left hand, gesturing for Kenta to bend down. He did as he was told.

But just as he was halfway down, someone's shout came from behind him. He turned around curiously. He saw Stelle, March 7th, Welt—and a short pink-haired person rushing towards them. Stelle, in the lead, seemed to be shouting something, but the distance was far.

"...Kenta! Quick... away... from her... this... not... Tingyun!"

"No! She's problematic! Kenta, quick..." Dan Heng's voice rang out almost simultaneously, but it was all too late.

"Pfft!"

"!!!"

With a sound of flesh being torn, a hand pierced through Kenta's chest from behind. He felt a sharp pain in his body. Looking down, he saw a bloody, slender hand piercing out from his chest.
