Chapter 1: The Boy Who Lost the Sun
Vikram was only fifteen when the sun of his life set forever.
His parents had died in a tragic car accident on a rainy night while returning from the city. He had waited for them at home, sitting near the door, hoping to see the headlights of their car. Instead, strangers arrived with unbearable news.
After that night, Vikram stopped laughing the way children do.
He moved in with his old grandmother in their small village. She was weak in body but strong in heart. Every morning she prayed for him, and every night she whispered stories so he would not feel alone.
Vikram became quiet, disciplined, and mature beyond his age. He studied hard, helped his grandmother, and never complained about his fate.
One day, his teacher brought life-changing news — Vikram had received a scholarship to study in a big city school.
His grandmother smiled through tears.
"Your parents wanted you to shine," she said. "Go and make them proud."
And so, with a small suitcase and a heavy heart, Vikram left his village behind.
