Chapter 3 - Unwanted

"Now what am I supposed to do here on this planet?"

Jin questioned himself; it's not like he came here on his own will. It was more like he was forcefully dragged into this mess, which was not new for Jin, since he was used to his life dragging him into unexpected events.

But for now, he sits on that surface, looking at the beauty of this world. For now, he allows himself to forget about his current situation, about how he'll survive here, or how he'll go back to earth.

'This planet doesn't look like 'Mirror World' from what I heard. Mirror World is surrounded by a warped barrier, has two suns, and features a greenish atmosphere. But this place is completely different.'

'from how that snow vanished, changing the whole surface in just a mere second. It only tells one thing: this place changes fast, but I don't have to worry about it for now.'

Jin leaned back as he rested lying on his back, he closed his eyes, letting the cold waves of wind play with his hair. It's not every day he gets to rest in the fresh air under a warm sun like this. Not thinking much about how the weather changed here just a while ago.

"Hmmm~"

Jin stretched his arms before getting up, but as soon as he tried to touch the surface of the mountain to get up, he felt nothing, as if the mountain just vanished.

Ba-Dam! Ba-Dam!! Ba-Dam!!! Ba-Dam!!!!

His heart started beating faster than the last beat as he opened his eyes, looking in disbelief as he found himself in mid-air above the peak. Nothing came out of his mouth, not even a single word; his silver eyes filled with horror.

He was floating like a balloon filled with helium gas as if gravity had changed its core towards the heavens, when he reached a certain height high enough to make his head spin just by looking down, he fell.

Straight towards the earth like the gravity got normal again, but from the height Jin was falling, he would die in an instant if he hit the ground. Suddenly, he was pulled into a different force, saving him from falling, but now he cannot move or understand what is happening.

He was caught in a tornado that completely changed the atmosphere from quiet and peaceful to chaos and darkness. That tornado caught lots of things, trees, rocks, etc., along with Jin spinning him in the flow of the tornado, to the point he lost consciousness.

"Aaaaa! Aaaaaa!"

Jin was growling in pain, still half unconscious, his clothes torn into pieces, barely clinging to his body, with multiple cuts all over his body as crimson blood gushed from his wounds.

Jin still cannot grasp the situation he is in right now. He's torn in dreams that the unconscious brought for him, and the reality gives him his breath, making his breath get heavier, making it hard to breathe.

Tip!

A single tear fell from the sky, followed by a soft, humming rain. Washing over his wounds, taking the blood off his skin, cleaning him. Some of these tears fell on his mouth as they rolled down his throat, and the water jammed in his throat.

"Cough!! Hinnnnnhhh!!"

Jin opened his eyes, gasping for oxygen as he sat up coughing, followed by a sudden vomit that painted his lower half with sticky saliva mixed with the paste of a meat sandwich he had eaten a few hours ago. His eyes had turned crimson from the corner. Some of that paste came from his nose, and the hot sauce was burning his insides.

He stayed in that position for a while, letting the downpour clean him again, trying to catch his breath. His head filled with confusion, and the pain from his wounds made it harder to concentrate on what exactly happened and where exactly he was right now.

These two questions spun in his head, trying to find the answer, a small memory short circuit we had when we got hit so hard that we fell unconscious, in other words, Jin is suffering from post-traumatic amnesia. At this moment, Jin doesn't even remember why he is here to begin with.

After what felt like hours to Jin, but only a few minutes, his memories started to reform piece by piece again. Then he realised what actually happened to him, but still, that event seems like a dream, nothing makes sense.

Jin tried to move his arms and legs, but he felt nothing except pain from his wounds. It wasn't intentional, just as he had expected, which hit Jin even harder. If he had actually fallen into all that mess, his bones would have shattered into tiny pieces, making him unable to move at all. He looked around, but all he saw was forest. He was no longer at the mountains.

Then suddenly the downpour started getting heavier and heavier, to the point it was hitting Jin like a tiny rock, etching on his back, he got up looking at the huge tree, but as he took a step forward, he fell on the muddy ground, forgetting about his wounds and blood loss that was now taking effect.

"Well, well, well, look at you still breathing."

That sudden voice fell in Jin's ear, but it was like a hope to Jin, even though that tone sounded like a mockery, but knowing someone was there brought a relief to his soul.

"Whatever, looks like I didn't have time left, don't die 'Unwanted Prince', I bet everything on you."

These words hit Jin like the biggest curse as he heard that name. His jaw clenched tightly, he moved his face into the mud to find the speaker, but when he finally turned, there was nothing. No one was there.

He had heard that name after a long time. Jin had buried these memories deep in his mind, never intending to remember them again. With that, Jin fell unconscious again, struck by the downpour. His body lay there unmoved.
