Chapter 1 - Chapter 1:When Death Became a Beginning

It was a pretty decent day, aside from the fact that I found myself thrown into the world of Naruto.

Lately, I've been feeling really stressed out.

The truth is, without any special bloodline, cheat code, or natural talent in Naruto's universe, survival seems nearly impossible. Just imagining the future ninja wars, Pain's attacks, Obito, and Black Zetsu sends chills down my spine.

All I want is to live a peaceful life in this chaotic world.

It's been ten years since the Nine-Tails attack, and the village is still recovering from the aftermath of such a major disaster. The villagers have grown increasingly wary of wars and the tailed beasts.

The death of the Fourth Hokage, Minato, left a significant mark on the village. As a result, many have taken out their anger on Naruto.

Thinking about how Naruto is treated in the village, I can't help but smile; at least I'm not ignored and feel safe.

I'm Hiro, a ten-year-old orphan living alone in my late parents' small apartment.

My thoughts often drift back to the day my parents were killed by ninjas during a mission. It makes me sad, but at least they left me a home.

I was transmigrated into this world from my mother's womb, but with only a little chakra and talent, it feels nearly impossible for me to even become a genin.

I'm aware that my skills with the three basic jutsu are quite mediocre, so I know I'll probably just be cannon fodder on the battlefield.

Today, I walked through the streets and picked up a cheap bento for lunch since my monthly allowance is very low due to my parents being merchants.

I wandered aimlessly until I spotted several ninjas making their way down the street. Seeing their headbands didn't evoke any envy in me; they felt more like symbols of servitude.

Becoming a ninja isn't my goal. I just want enough strength to protect myself, and I've already decided that after my graduation exam, I want to pursue a career as a writer.

I have no desire to be a ninja.

As I entered the academy, I saw other kids chatting and laughing; I felt no envy, having grown used to being alone.

Then there was Hinata, peeking at me, followed by a loud entrance from Naruto, who always tries to grab attention.

He didn't notice me at all, and I couldn't help but bitterly reminisce about the past when he and I were best friends.

I shook my head, recognizing that it mirrored the story—Hinata still had a crush on him.

As I scanned the room, I saw Ino, Shikamaru, and Choji.

When Ino approached, I quickly averted my gaze, knowing she'd scold me, and as expected, Sakura glared at me before redirecting her focus to Sasuke.

Ino joined her, but I chose to ignore them.

Clearly, they were trying to show off, evidenced by their frustrated pouts when I overlooked them.

Eventually, class began, and Iruka-sensei started the history lesson, this time focusing on the "Great Deeds of the Third Hokage" and ringing praises for him.

I found myself speechless at the shamelessness of these lessons and decided to zone out.

I was relieved when class was finally over and took my chance to escape the boring environment.

Out in the hall, I saw Hinata heading towards her guard, who glared at me fiercely, but she didn't acknowledge me as she walked past.

I shook my head and headed home, stopping to buy some vegetables and other necessities before cooking a simple dinner.

I enjoyed my meal in peace while gazing up at the moon, grateful for a moment of tranquility before drifting off to sleep, unaware of the changes in fate brewing beneath the surface.

In my dreams, I found myself in my previous life, surrounded by a simple yet loving family.

I was an average college student with limited social skills who had encountered a wonderful colleague—beautiful and kind-hearted.

Hiro vividly recalled the day he first met her on the train.

They hit it off and over time, their friendship blossomed into a deep romantic relationship.

He felt as though his life was in perfect harmony; he envisioned marrying her and caring for his parents in their old age.

He dreamt of a happy future filled with children, growing old together—it all seemed idyllic.

But then fate twisted his life in a devastating way when he discovered her affair with his boss.

The shock left him shattered, feeling as if he had been cast into a nightmare.

Everything that had once felt perfect now seemed like a cruel joke, and his dreams felt as insignificant as dirt in the road.

Unwilling to accept this betrayal, he confronted her, only to be met with cold indifference.

"Why would you do this to me? We were perfect together, and you promised to stay by my side. Is this what you meant by our promise?" he questioned, his heart aching.

She sighed deeply and replied, "I'm really sorry, but you need to understand my situation. I'm doing this for our future; we need money and jobs to build a life together."

Her words ignited a surge of anger in him, and in a moment of rage, he slapped her hard and walked away.

As he left, rain began to pour down. The droplets felt like a reflection of his turmoil, soaking him as the storm intensified.

"Wait, Hiro! Please, I beg you, listen to me!" she cried, her voice breaking with desperation as she wept into the night.

Hiro found himself laughing bitterly, feeling as if all his emotions were a cruel joke.

How could anything good happen to him?

Just then, he noticed a fast-approaching car, and before he could react, it struck him, sending him flying.

As his life began to slip away, so did his memories of her—the mist obscured her face in his mind, and despair washed over him.

He couldn't accept that this was the end of his story.

Desperate, he thought of his elderly parents waiting for him at home.

Blood flowed from his wounds, and he felt his strength fading away.

With great effort, he raised his hand and managed to whisper, "Help me, please."

But the crowd had gathered not to assist him, but to capture the moment on their smartphones.

He still held onto a glimmer of hope that someone would come to his aid, but no one seemed to notice him.

His vision blurred as darkness began to overtake him, and eventually, he lost consciousness.

In those final moments, he felt as if he were sinking into an ocean, pondering if his life was truly destined to end like this.

He saw all his memories flash in his mind like a movie and he was watching it like a movie.

He wasn't ready to accept death so easily. He still had a hope to love,His determination was very high until he saw a miracle light above him.

Suddenly, a bright light came barreling towards him, enveloping his entire being, and in an instant, he was reborn into this world.
