Chapter 151 - Chapter 151: The New Generation of Ino–Shika–Cho

Chapter 151: The New Generation of Ino–Shika–Cho

At this time, Ino, Choji, and Shikamaru walked over.

"Yo, little ones, what are you playing?" Ino asked with a smile.

"We're discussing the difference between 'partner' and 'friend'!" the children replied.

"Haha, that question has us stumped too." Choji patted his stomach. "We only know that both partners and friends are very important people."

"That's right," Shikamaru nodded. "A partner is someone you can rely on, and a friend is someone you can share joy with."

"Oh..." The children nodded, seemingly understanding but not quite.

"Alright, don't dwell on that question." Ino clapped her hands. "Let's all play together!"

So, she, Choji, and Shikamaru joined the children's group and played hide-and-seek together.

Their addition made the game even more fun, and the children's laughter echoed continuously through the ruins.

Watching this scene from the side, Grandpa Kosuke showed a kind smile: "Being young is so good."

"The cooperation and chemistry between the three of them is truly enviable." He remarked emotionally, "It's just like the Ino–Shika–Chō of back then."

"Ino–Shika–Chō?" someone nearby asked. "What's that?"

"That's a legend of our Konoha," Grandpa Kosuke explained. "During the Konoha Crush operation, the Ino–Shika–Chō formation once played a huge role. Ino's father, Choji's father, and Shikamaru's father, the three of them protected us Genin with perfect chemistry."

"Really?" the person nearby asked in surprise.

"Of course it's true." Grandpa Kosuke nodded. "I saw it with my own eyes. The three of them are like one person; no matter how powerful the enemy, they can turn danger into safety."

"That's amazing!" someone nearby exclaimed.

"Yeah," Grandpa Kosuke looked at the playing Ino, Choji, and Shikamaru. "Those three might be the new generation of Ino–Shika–Chō."

While everyone was immersed in the happy atmosphere, on the other side of Konoha Village, Kiba was sweating profusely alone on the training ground.

He worked hard to cultivate Taijutsu and Ninjutsu, wanting to improve his strength.

However, no matter how hard he tried, he felt the gap between himself and Naruto was getting wider.

Naruto had become the Village's hero, while he was still standing still.

This made him feel very unwilling.

"I must become stronger!" Kiba grit his teeth. "I can't be left too far behind by Naruto!"

So, he decided to find Teacher Byakuya for help.

"Teacher Byakuya, I want to ask you to help me train," Kiba said.

"Oh? You want to train." Byakuya looked at Kiba. "But I have important business right now and don't have time to accompany your training."

"Then... what should I do?" Kiba was a bit disappointed.

"However, I can let the Eight Man-Hunting Dogs help you," Byakuya said.

After saying that, he summoned the Eight Man-Hunting Dogs.

"They will accompany your training and help you improve your strength."

However, Kiba was very dissatisfied with this arrangement.

"Teacher Byakuya, I just wanted to ask you to guide me personally," Kiba said. "Although the Eight Man-Hunting Dogs are strong, they are just dogs after all."

"Kiba, you must know that everyone has their own training method and rhythm," Byakuya said earnestly. "Although the Eight Man-Hunting Dogs are just dogs, they also have unique fighting styles and experience. You can learn many things from them."

Hearing Byakuya's words, Kiba fell into deep thought.

He knew Teacher Byakuya was right, but he still felt he needed more direct guidance.

So, he made a certain resolution.

"Teacher Byakuya, I understand," Kiba said. "I will train well with the Eight Man-Hunting Dogs. However, I will also work hard to find other ways to improve my strength."

After saying that, he turned and left the training ground, his heart full of fighting spirit and determination.

Meanwhile, on the sailing Konoha ship, Yamato stood at the bow, looking ahead.

"The final supply point of the voyage is right before our eyes," he thought to himself. "Although we can breathe a sigh of relief once we get there, we still can't let our guard down."

He looked back at the people on the ship; they were all busy, preparing for the challenges ahead.

"Everyone, be careful," Yamato reminded. "Although it seems calm now, danger could appear at any time."

His words made everyone alert; they knew that in this world full of unknowns, they could never relax their vigilance.

Night fell, and everyone on the ship was immersed in dreams.

However, Guy suddenly saw a familiar figure while half-asleep.

"Teacher Byakuya?" he shouted in surprise. "How can you be here?"

He rubbed his eyes to confirm he wasn't mistaken.

It was indeed Byakuya, standing at the bow, gazing into the darkness ahead.

"Teacher Byakuya, shouldn't you be in the Village?" Guy asked doubtfully.

However, Byakuya didn't answer him, just standing there quietly as if thinking about something.

Guy looked at Byakuya's back, his heart full of doubt and unease.

He knew that Byakuya's appearance must have some special meaning.

"Could it be... that something happened?" he thought. "No, I have to tell everyone."

So, he quickly got up, preparing to notify the others.

However, when he turned around, he found that Byakuya's figure had already disappeared into the darkness.

"Teacher Byakuya?" Guy shouted. "Where did you go?"

He looked around but still couldn't see any sign of Byakuya.

This made Guy even more worried; he knew that things might not be simple.

At the place where Naruto and the others were making their final supplies, the Tsuchikage's messengers Akatsuchi and Kurotsuchi were fighting some Kirigakure.

"What's with these Kirigakure?" Akatsuchi roared. "Didn't we already reach a peace agreement?"

However, the Kirigakure didn't answer him, just continuing to launch attacks.

Although Akatsuchi and Kurotsuchi were both powerful Ninjas, they gradually struggled against the siege of many Kirigakure.

"This can't go on!" Kurotsuchi shouted. "We must break through!"

However, just as they were preparing to break through, a figure suddenly appeared in front of them.

"Naruto!" Akatsuchi shouted in surprise.

"Are you okay?" Naruto asked hurriedly, looking at the bruised and battered Akatsuchi and Kurotsuchi.

"We're fine." Akatsuchi shook his head. "These Kirigakure attacked suddenly, and we were caught off guard."

"Don't worry, I'll help you!" Naruto said. "Chojuro, lead the others to deal with those Kirigakure; I'll protect Akatsuchi and Kurotsuchi."

After saying that, he immediately took action.

With Naruto's help, Akatsuchi and Kurotsuchi gradually stabilized the situation. However, just as they were preparing to counterattack, a Kirigakure suddenly rushed at Akatsuchi and slashed him with a blade.
