Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: Transmigration

A boy named Roy was reading a novel on his bed. His whole room was scattered. Many books were on the floor instead of on the shelf. The computer on the desk beside the corner of his bed was shut down, but the desk was filled with late-night snacks and soft drinks.

He was reading the last chapter of that novel named 'The Fate Of A Villain'. He picked some chips from a bag placed on the floor beside the bed while lying down.

'Hero Leonhart launched an attack on Rowan. Rowan could easily block Leonhart's attack with his sword, but he wasn't able to do so, Rowan's hands were tied by veils on the ground.

Rowan noticed that the former mage of the hero's party, Laura, used her magic on him.'

"Wtf, how is she here? Wasn't she dead in the previous arc?" Roy got confused. "What kind of plot twist is this? Am I hallucinating?" Roy questioned his own existence. He was not in his right mind because hadn't slept for two days. He just wanted to finish this novel. He read again.

'Hero Leonhart's attack landed on Rowan. His sword pierced through Rowan's hearts. Leonhart's divine power disintegrated Rowan.

A noble boy who became a villain met his fate in the end.

Laura ran towards Leonhart and hugged him tightly.

"Oh, my hero." She touched Leonhart's left cheek.

"Yes, my love." Leonhart held her in his arms. Leonhart moved forward his lips to kiss her.

Puchhhuuuuuu.

They both kissed so hard that Laura gave birth to a boy immediately after the kiss. They made a big happy family and lived in peace.

The end…'

Roy's anger met its peak, and because of that, he wasn't able to say anything. He was at a loss for words. Roy stood up and threw that novel towards the shelf.

Roy used too much force. He broke one plank of a shelf. "You piece of shit. I… I didn't sleep for two days, and this is what I got in return. I spend my three months' allowance to buy all volumes. And…and…"

Aghhhhhaaaaaa

Roy became hasty. "I want to kill him. I want to kill this author." Roy picked all volumes of 'The Fate of Villain'. And ran to the ground floor.

Roy's house had two floors, and he lived on the second floor. Roy came into the living room and threw all the books into the chimney. His father and mother were sitting on the sofa behind him watching TV that was fixed above the chimney.

"What happened, dear?" His mom asked in a concerned tone.

Roy's eyes turned red because he hadn't gotten enough sleep. "You know, Mom, these types of authors also get contracts and sell hard copies." He pointed his finger to burning books. "Why don't those editors care about readers? Don't they know how much trauma we faced after reading shit like this?"

"Watch your mouth, boy." His father Margus finally interfered. His heavy tone calmed down Roy a little. "Your mother is sitting here. So, think before you talk." Margus leaned forward a little.

Roy's rage didn't fade away, but in front of Alpha, a pub should move back. So, Roy went to his room.

"Don't say harsh things like that, honey. "What if he started hating you?" Roy's mother Rosy got worried about both father's and son's relationship because they never had a proper conversation with each other.

Margus didn't say anything. He watched time on his wristwatch. "It's time for work; take my bag."

"Okay." Rosy went to take his bag.

Margus was at the door waiting for Rosy. She handed him his bag.

Margus gave her a kiss on her cheek before leaving. He opened the door. "See if he is fine." Then he left.

Rosy went to his room, but he was sleeping. So, she decided to cook something good for him. When she entered the kitchen, she realised that there was nothing left to cook.

"Oh god, how could I forget to buy groceries? I should buy it as soon as possible before Roy wakes up." Rosy left the house for the store.

The grocery store was a ten-minute walk away from her house. Rosy grabbed vegetables, fruits and essential items. When she went to the cash counter. She saw a young boy the same age as Roy.

When she was about to leave. Suddenly, rain started. "What? Five minutes before, there were no clouds. I also don't have my umbrella. Should I buy it or wait a little?" She decided to buy an umbrella from the store. After buying an umbrella, she left the store.

Roy woke up at home. When he came to the ground floor. He didn't see his mother. He searched for her everywhere but was unable to find her. So, he called her on her phone, but there were no towers on Roy's phone.

Roy switched on TV and started watching his favourite anime. Suddenly the TV lost its connection. "Aghh." He switched off the TV. Then lay down on the sofa. "What do I do now?" He was getting bored.

Suddenly a strong wind came from the chimney. This wind was scattering burnt book ashes. Ashes were flying everywhere in the living room.

Roy sat up. He got a little scared. Wind-filled ashes made a tornado. This tornado was rolling around Roy.

"What's going on?" Roy got goosebumps. His body got wet from sweat.

Roy put his hands on his face. A tornado collapsed in an instant in Roy. He disappeared with the tornado.

Rosy opened the gate and entered the home. She put an umbrella in the stand. When she went to the living room. Everything was the same as she left behind.

Roy lowered his hand. He was in the open area that looked like an arena. He was standing in the middle of the arena fighting someone. He saw a young man a little high. He kicked Roy in his chest.

Roy fell away. He was having a hard time breathing. He felt too much pain that made him unconscious.

He woke up in a massive room on a large royal bed. He was in his underwear. A maid was rubbing his chest with a wet cloth. He sat up in an instant. It made the maid scared. She backed a little.

"Sorry, miss," Roy said.

The maid bowed down. "No, Master Lucian, it was my fault. I was unable to see that coming."

"(Wait a minute, who is she, and why is she in a maid outfit? And where am I?)" Roy didn't understand what was going on around him. So he asked that maid. "Miss, who are you?"

"I am Martha, your personal maid. I understand that you lost your consciousness after being defeated by your big brother Edric." She told him.

Roy tried to stand up but fell to the ground. Martha held his arms and laid him on the bed.

"Don't force yourself, master. You still have not recovered yet. The healer detected a crack in your mana core. They said you should get one month's rest." Martha explained to him.

"My body has no energy." Roy said.

"It's because you were unconscious for two days. You didn't eat food in this time frame; that's why you are feeling weak. Give me some time; I'll take your food to your bed." Martha left the room to prepare food for Roy.

"(Mana core, it means I am in a fantasy world. It's going to be fun.)" Roy stood up in excitement. "Oh yes, I have magic now. I will be OP in this world." Roy was laughing loudly like he had already conquered this world. "On top of that, this mansion looks like some rich man."

Roy put his hand on his chin. "Rich man in the fantasy world means a noble. So, now I have unlimited money, no labour, magic, big harem and beautiful loyal maids. A nerd needs nothing more than that."

Roy felt pain in his chest because of his laugh. So, he sat down on the bed. His adrenaline went back to normal. He was taking deep breaths. His smile faded away. He got quiet for a sec.

Roy's tone went normal. "Even after getting everything, why am I feeling empty? Mother…. " His eyes filled with tears. He stood up and looked at the ceiling. "She must be worried at home and father must be searching for me on the streets. I…i can't live happily without them. Hey, reincarnation god, I want to go back to my world. I don't want this luxury. I just want my mother back."

Roy might be eighteen years old in his world. He was a brilliant student but never socialised with his fellow students. He always lived alone and read novels. He became good at playing characters. But also a possessive one for his favourite persons.

Roy didn't receive any answer from any god. He lost his calmness, so he cried loudly. "I WANT TO SEE MY MOTHER."

Someone entered the room without making any noise.

"I am here, dear." a woman said from behind Roy.

Roy turned back. He saw a middle-aged woman, but her beauty didn't look similar to her age. No one could tell that she was a mother of four children. She wore a royal deep red gown and gold jewellery.

She came near Roy. She touched his cheek. She was worried about him. "What happened, Lucian? Why were you calling for me? Is something wrong, dear?"

"(I was calling for her. It means she mother of Lucian.)" Roy forced a smile towards her. "It's nothing, Mother. I just want you to know that I am feeling good, so you don't stress."

She touched his chest. She used her magic 'diagnose'. She lowered her hand. "Hmm, your situation is better now, but your core still needs some time." She turned and sat on the sofa. "But you are healthy enough to take your lessons." She signalled him to sit on the opposite sofa. She was the queen, Nayra Valemort of Valdoria kingdom.

When Roy sat down on the sofa in front of her. Nayra used the spell 'came out' and created a magic circle on the table. Five books appeared on the table from the magic circle. Those were the business books.

"Pick up the first book." Nayra became serious. She crossed her arms and legs. "Start your study; if you have any doubt, then ask."

Roy picked up a book named 'Importance of Monsters' Organs. This book was about monsters' organs. Valemort House had a cosmetic company. They used the monster's organs and turned them into cosmetic items.

The queen of Valdoria managed many businesses, like pharmaceuticals, weapons, and dungeons under her king's order.

Roy was reading the book carefully like a topper from outside. "(Why am I studying in the magic world? I should be having fun as a noble son. Shouldn't I be learning about swordsmanship so I'll be the next great king?" His curiosity overflowed, so he decided to ask her. "Mother, is reading these types of books really necessary? I mean, shouldn't I be studying magic?"

Nayra smiled. "Magic. I think Edric's kick really shook your brain. I hope you didn't forget that you may have a mana core, but it's too weak to cast any spell."

Ground slipped from Roy's feet. His fingers tightened around the book but he didn't show this emotion on his face. "(God, please strike lightning on me. I don't wanna live like this.)"

Rosy finally came back with Roy's food. She entered the room and put a plate on the table beside Roy's books.

"Milday, the master called you in his office." Rosy bowed in front of her.

Nayra stood up and was leaving Roy's room. "I'll return in the evening. Until then, study all books." When she was at the door she stopped, she didn't turn. "I'll wait for your answer." then left the room.
