The small boy inside the darkness was smiling.
His clothes were old and covered with dried blood.
"Brother… I knew you would come," the boy said.
Arman stood quietly.
The girl with empty eyes whispered behind him,
"Do you remember his name?"
Arman shook his head slowly.
"I forgot."
The boy stood up slowly from the dark floor.
His voice was very soft.
"You were supposed to protect me."
Silence filled the basement.
Dust was floating slowly in the red light.
The woman's angry voice came again,
"You should not wake him!"
Arman said quietly,
"I am not trying to wake him."
The boy walked closer.
His empty eyes were exactly like Arman's childhood memories.
"I am already awake," the boy said.
The metal door behind Arman started closing slowly.
The black liquid on the floor moved like living snakes.
The clock outside struck two in the morning.
And the boy whispered,
"If I leave this house, something much worse will be born."
