Chapter 131 - Chapter 131: Return to Millishion

After a long flight, Dan Feng and Roxy finally descended slowly in a quiet corner of the western port.

This spot was far from the bustling crowds, surrounded entirely by flowers, plants, and trees—one of the relatively peaceful areas in the western port.

The main reason they chose to land here was that they planned to exchange some currency into Millis gold coins at the western port.

After all, once they entered Millishion, only the native currency of the Millis Continent could be used.

Moreover, the procedures for currency exchange at the Adventurers' Guild headquarters in Millishion were far more complicated than in other places due to its massive scale.

Of course, there was another important reason—they were returning to visit the landlady, Galdaruf, and the others.

They couldn't possibly show up empty-handed, right? After all, they now possessed nearly 1,500 Asura gold coins, which would already qualify them as a wealthy household even in Millishion.

"The western port—we're back here again," Roxy said, looking at the familiar surroundings and feeling a wave of emotions.

Compared to a few years ago, the western port didn't seem to have changed much. The streets were still packed with people of all races, making the place as lively as ever.

"Nothing here feels like things have changed while people have. At first glance, it's still the same vendors," Dan Feng said slowly. His gaze swept across the bustling streets—the familiar stalls and busy figures brought him an inexplicable sense of familiarity.

This was the western port—a place full of vitality and adventure.

Dan Feng had a particularly deep impression of it, especially because of the incident where several thieves sneaked into their inn to steal.

In the end, though, those thieves were successfully captured by them, which could be considered as having done a good deed for the people of this city.

This time, Dan Feng and Roxy came to the Adventurers' Guild in the western port with a clear purpose.

They walked straight past the request board covered in commissions. The dazzling array of tasks didn't attract much of their attention.

Their target was the front desk of the Adventurers' Guild.

When they reached the counter, the surrounding adventurers and staff couldn't help but cast stunned glances their way.

The reason was simple: Roxy unhesitatingly took out the 250 Ranoa gold coins that had been awarded to them by the Ranoa Kingdom from her scroll, and Dan Feng immediately followed by producing another 250.

Dan Feng's 250 had originally been kept in the box in his dorm, but since they were going to subjugate the Red Dragon that time, he had placed the gold coins into the system space.

These 500 Ranoa gold coins sparkled brilliantly under the sunlight streaming in through the window, instantly drawing the attention of everyone present.

However, Dan Feng and Roxy did not hesitate in the slightest. They handed all the coins over to the front desk staff and requested an exchange into Millis gold coins.

Since the exchange rate between Millis gold coins and Ranoa gold coins was the same, they smoothly received 500 Millis gold coins in return.

Of course, a small handling fee was required during the exchange process, but to Dan Feng and Roxy, it was negligible—they didn't care about such a trivial amount at all.

In the western port, Dan Feng and Roxy bought a lot of things: a large assortment of fruits from all over the world for the landlady, hair accessories and clothes for Mayibeia, and—for Galdaruf—a magic staff.

All of these purchases cost less than 50 Millis gold coins in total, with the magic staff being the most expensive item among them.

Everything was stored inside Roxy's storage scroll. One couldn't help but marvel at how incredibly useful the thing was.

Afterward, Dan Feng and Roxy took flight again, heading toward Millishion.

In a short amount of time, they arrived near Millishion.

They had to walk the rest of the way from here—any further and they would encounter many knights of Millishion, who would surely notice them.

Fortunately, they didn't run into any bandits or the like along the way. Soon, the two reached the city gates of Millishion.

Sure enough, upon seeing Roxy beside Dan Feng, the gatekeeping knights immediately stopped them.

This time, Dan Feng and Roxy took out their S-rank adventurer cards, instantly leaving the knight who had blocked them dumbfounded.

S-rank adventurers were extremely rare existences. With just a few more extraordinary feats, one could be promoted to SS-rank legendary adventurer.

With their S-rank adventurer status, Dan Feng and Roxy smoothly entered Millishion—the city where they had first met.

This was where their fateful encounter began; all the threads of Dan Feng and Roxy's destinies had intersected right here.

"Let's go straight to the tavern," Dan Feng said calmly to Roxy.

Roxy gave a slight nod in agreement. Together, they passed through the crowded streets and finally arrived at the small alley where the tavern was located.

The alley was somewhat narrow, with slightly aged walls on both sides, yet it carried a unique charm.

It was the scent produced from years of brewing—the signature aroma of the landlady's tavern.

Roxy's gaze was drawn to the signboard hanging on the wall. She stared at the familiar writing and murmured to herself, "The landlady's shop hasn't changed at all."

As Dan Feng and Roxy stepped inside, the tavern during the daytime remained as quiet as ever—almost no one was around.

The landlady was standing behind the counter, focused on wiping the shelves behind her, seemingly unaware that anyone had entered.

Dan Feng and Roxy exchanged a glance, understanding each other perfectly.

Roxy slowly took out the fruits she had brought for the landlady from her storage scroll. These fruits had been carefully selected by her and Dan Feng together—they hoped to give the landlady a pleasant surprise.

After all, she was certain the landlady had never tasted such exotic fruits from around the world.

She gently placed the fruits on one of the tavern tables, then tiptoed while holding Dan Feng's hand, quietly sneaking up behind the landlady.

The landlady was fully absorbed in her work when she suddenly sensed someone behind her. Her heart tightened, and she quickly turned around to look.

The moment her eyes landed on Dan Feng and Roxy's faces, her expression changed instantly. Surprise and joy surged across her previously calm features.

"Dan Feng! Roxy! How did you two come back?!" The landlady's voice was filled with disbelief and delight. Her eyes widened as if she couldn't believe the scene before her.

"Landlady, Dan Feng and I came back to visit everyone," Roxy said with a sweet smile. She then pointed to the fruits on the table behind her. "Those are gifts for you—all fruits you can't buy in Millishion."

Dan Feng also showed a rare faint smile. "How has business been at the tavern these years while we were away?"

Before the landlady could reply, an adventurer walked in. He immediately spotted the fruits on the table and shouted to the landlady, "Landlady, so many fruits! I'll have a bite, okay!"

Before he could reach for them, a wooden cup flew past Dan Feng and Roxy and smashed straight toward the adventurer.

"Ah!"
