Chapter 133 - Chapter 133: Mayibeia’s Pregnancy

"Mmm~" Mayibeia let out a light chuckle before continuing, "It was about a year after you two left that we finally got together~" Her face was filled with the exact same blissful smile as Roxy's—a smile so radiant it could probably melt an entire tribe of goblins.

Mayibeia's gaze was gentle and affectionate, fixed squarely on Galdaruf sitting beside her.

Galdaruf seemed to feel the heat of her stare. His old face flushed slightly, but he still showed no real expression. He simply lowered his head silently and continued eating the food on the table, as if trying to hide his embarrassment that way.

"Eh?" Roxy's interest was immediately piqued when she saw this. Looking curiously at Mayibeia, she pressed, "That's rare. So who confessed first?"

The corner of Mayibeia's mouth curved upward in a smug little smile. She said playfully, "Hmph, of course it was this lady! Did you really expect that old man to take the initiative?" As she spoke, she gave a cheeky wink, then elegantly lifted Galdaruf's wooden cup and took a refined sip of the wine inside.

Judging from how smoothly she did it, this clearly wasn't the first time.

After all, she and Galdaruf were already married—such small, intimate interactions between husband and wife were perfectly normal.

Watching Mayibeia's actions, Roxy felt a strange little feeling rise in her heart.

Her gaze unconsciously drifted to the side. She suddenly noticed Dan Feng's cup sitting quietly nearby.

She slowly reached for the cup that originally belonged to Dan Feng, took a sip of the water inside, then calmly set it back down.

Mayibeia saw Roxy's little move and gave a soft smile. She had no intention of competing with Roxy, but seeing Roxy do something so childish was just too adorable.

Meanwhile, Dan Feng was chatting with Galdaruf.

"You two got married and are still living in the tavern?" Dan Feng asked calmly.

Galdaruf let out a soft sigh and replied in a helpless tone, "Mayibeia and I are saving up right now so we can buy a house to be our marital home."

"But housing prices in Millishion are expensive. It's not something we can afford yet, so we can only keep living in the tavern for now."

"It's fine, Galdaruf. You've lived here for so many years already—even living here your whole life wouldn't be a problem. As long as you and Mayibeia are happy, that's what matters," the landlady interjected from the head of the table.

"Thank you, landlady," Galdaruf said, giving a rare small smile. Normally he was just as expressionless as Dan Feng.

"I can help you," Dan Feng said slowly. He could take Galdaruf hunting high-level magic beasts to earn gold coins.

"Dan Feng, I'm really curious about how strong you are now. I feel like you've changed a lot compared to a few years ago," Galdaruf said, looking at Dan Feng with puzzlement.

Facing Dan Feng now, he always had the feeling of standing before a powerful being—there was even a faint sense of pressure in the way Dan Feng spoke.

"Mm, I've gotten a bit stronger than before," Dan Feng said after thinking for a moment.

To be precise, strong enough now to one-shot a Red Dragon.

After that, the meal gradually came to an end. Everyone had eaten their fill.

At that moment, Mayibeia suddenly cleared her throat, drawing everyone's attention.

Her gaze slowly swept over everyone present before she spoke in an excited tone, "Everyone, I have some very good news to share!"

Before she could finish, there was a loud 'pfft'—Galdaruf, who had been drinking, seemed to choke on something. He violently spat out the wine in his mouth.

He coughed a few times, staring at Mayibeia in complete shock, as though he couldn't believe what he had just heard.

"What did you say? You're pregnant?" Galdaruf's eyes widened in disbelief as he repeated her words.

His voice carried both joy and a trace of panic.

Still not fully recovered from the shock, Galdaruf hurriedly stood up, walked quickly to Mayibeia, and pulled her tightly into his arms.

"Why didn't you tell me something so important sooner?" Galdaruf asked softly, looking down at Mayibeia in his embrace, his eyes full of tenderness.

Mayibeia playfully stuck out her tongue and smiled as she explained, "I only started having morning sickness recently. I was planning to give you and the landlady a surprise after a while, but since Dan Feng and Roxy are here today, I just decided to say it now!"

With that, she rubbed her small head against Galdaruf's broad chest like an affectionate little cat, then showed an incomparably happy smile.

They had been adventuring together for over ten years, weathering countless storms together. Finally, they had achieved their happy ending.

Now, Mayibeia and Galdaruf had the fruit of their love—this filled Mayibeia with happiness she had never felt before.

She felt as though her life was already complete. The only thing missing was a house of their own—that would truly be a home.

Watching Mayibeia and Galdaruf's loving interaction, Roxy couldn't help but feel a surge of envy.

She turned to look at Dan Feng beside her and asked softly, "Dan Feng, when are we getting married?"

Dan Feng slowly shifted his gaze from Mayibeia and Galdaruf to Roxy's face.

He was silent for a moment before answering slowly, "Us? Let's wait until we kill Hitogami first. I believe it won't take much longer."

Hitogami's abilities were far too strange. He could see a person's future—this was undoubtedly a disaster for everyone around them.

Dan Feng was well aware of the threat Hitogami posed. His top priority now was to find Dragon God Orsted, form an alliance with him, locate Hitogami together, and eliminate him.

Originally, Dan Feng had no desire to bring trouble to himself or those around him. But since Hitogami had actually tried to kill him, that had crossed his bottom line.

He could not sit and wait for death. He had to take the initiative and eradicate anything that threatened him or the people close to him.

Roxy had also learned from Dan Feng about Hitogami's abilities and his many apostles. If they wanted to settle down peacefully, they truly needed to eliminate this massive hidden danger called Hitogami first.

So she understood. Hitogami really was their biggest problem right now.

...

At the other end of the world at this moment.

"Although you've lost your clansmen, you still have me. I can be your guide and your guarantee. I am Hitogami, after all—you'll forgive me, right?" In the world of nothingness, Hitogami looked at the monkey-like man before him and spoke in a playful tone.

He had arranged for this man's entire clan to be killed, but then He had saved him—so the man could only feel gratitude toward Him.

Hearing this, the man clenched his fist tightly, then slowly released it as though all strength had left him.

He could not oppose Hitogami—because he had survived only by following Hitogami's guidance.
