In the initial encounter Nalia had with him, was thinking of medicine that was beyond her financial means.It was pouring down on the University College London stone steps. Water poured down the railings anding taxis, cowering under coats.Nalia stood motionless, holding coins in her palm.Six pounds and twenty pence.Thirty was the price of her sister's inhaler.Nalia closed her hand.
