Chapter: "Section E vs One Girl"
Jay's POV
I knew it was coming.
I just didn't expect it to hit during math class.
First the cramps.
Then the irritation.
Then the overwhelming urge to fight everyone for breathing.
I stared at the board.
The numbers looked disrespectful.
Why are they so confident.
Cin leaned over.
"Jay, do you have an extra pen?"
I slowly turned my head.
"Do I look like a stationery shop?"
He blinked.
"…No?"
"Correct."
He sat back immediately.
Blaster whispered, "Why is she glitching?"
"I CAN HEAR YOU," I snapped.
The entire row straightened.
Oh no.
It's bad today.
Keifer's POV
The moment she walked into class, I knew.
Her ponytail was tighter than usual.
Her jaw was clenched.
And she slammed her bag like it owed her money.
Yeah.
It's that time.
Section E doesn't know yet.
But they're about to find out.
Felix dropped his notebook.
It hit the floor loudly.
Jay's head turned slowly like a horror movie villain.
Felix froze mid-breath.
"You dropped that aggressively," she said.
"It slipped."
"Control it."
"Yes."
David whispered to Yuri, "Why is she threatening gravity?"
Yuri whispered back, "I think we should apologize to gravity."
I sighed.
Time to manage chaos.
Lunch Break – Casualties Begin
Jay sat at the center of the table.
Fifteen boys around her.
All unaware.
Mayo took one of her fries.
One.
Single.
Fry.
Her hand grabbed his wrist mid-air.
"Return it."
He dropped it back like it was illegal substance.
"Sorry."
"Say it properly."
"I APOLOGIZE FOR MY CRIME."
"Good."
Cin looked at me.
"What's happening to her?"
I leaned back calmly.
"Biology."
Eren blinked.
"…Like science?"
"Yes."
Josh whispered, "Can science be postponed?"
Jay slammed her spoon down.
"Why are you whispering like villains?"
"We're not—"
"You look suspicious."
Blaster stood up slightly.
"I'm going to the washroom."
"Why?"
"…Because… I need to?"
She stared at him.
"Fine. But come back peacefully."
He nodded like she just granted parole.
Peak Chaos
Rory laughed at something on his phone.
Jay snapped.
"What is funny."
"It's a meme—"
"Show."
He handed it immediately.
She stared at it.
Didn't laugh.
Handed it back.
"This is not funny."
He nodded nervously.
"You're right. It's terrible."
Cin tried to lighten the mood.
"Jay, you look pretty today."
Wrong move.
Her eyes narrowed.
"What do you mean today?"
Cin's soul left his body.
"I MEAN EVERYDAY— I MEANT—"
"You implying there are days I don't?"
"No—"
"Think before speaking."
"Yes ma'am."
The table went silent.
Felix leaned toward me slowly.
"Bro… save us."
I took a deep breath.
Alright.
Time to control the dragon.
Keifer Handling Mode Activated
I moved my chair closer to hers.
"Jay."
"What."
"You ate?"
"Yes."
"Water?"
"Yes."
"Chocolate?"
Her expression shifted slightly.
"…No."
I pulled out a small chocolate bar from my bag.
Placed it gently in front of her like an offering to a goddess.
The entire table watched like it was a ritual.
She looked at it.
Then at me.
"You prepared?"
"I know survival tactics."
A tiny smirk appeared.
Section E gasped.
"IT WORKED," Yuri whispered dramatically.
She opened it and took a bite.
Her shoulders relaxed just a little.
I leaned closer.
"Cramps bad?"
She nodded slightly, trying to stay savage.
I lowered my voice.
"Want to go to the clinic?"
"No."
"Why?"
"I'm not weak."
I looked at her softly.
"It's not weakness. It's pain."
She glared.
But it wasn't sharp anymore.
Just tired.
I gently placed my hand over hers under the table.
She didn't pull away.
The boys noticed.
Blaster whispered, "Only he can touch the fire."
Josh nodded seriously.
"Chosen one."
Jay's POV
I hate that he understands.
Without me saying it.
Without me explaining it.
I took another bite of chocolate.
"You all are annoying," I said flatly.
"Yes," Section E replied in unison.
I blinked.
That was unexpected.
Cin raised his hand like a student.
"We apologize for existing loudly."
Felix added, "We will breathe silently."
Mayo said, "We respect biology."
I tried to stay serious.
But it was too ridiculous.
A laugh escaped me.
The whole table froze.
"She laughed!" David whispered.
"Victory," Yuri said.
Keif squeezed my hand gently.
"Better?"
"Don't act proud."
"I am proud."
I rolled my eyes.
But I leaned slightly into him for one second.
Only one.
He noticed.
Of course he did.
Final Scene
End of the day.
Section E looked emotionally exhausted.
Cin looked traumatized.
Felix declared, "We need a monthly safety meeting."
Blaster said, "Emergency chocolate fund."
Yuri nodded. "Protection plan."
I stood up, slinging my bag.
They all stiffened.
I turned slowly.
"…Sorry."
Silence.
Then chaos.
"IT'S OKAY QUEEN."
"WE SURVIVED."
"SEE YOU NEXT MONTH."
I walked away with Keif.
As soon as we were out of sight, I muttered,
"I wasn't that bad."
He looked at me.
"You threatened gravity."
I paused.
"…It deserved it."
He laughed.
Then gently held my hand.
"And for the record," he said softly, "even when you're scary… you're still my favorite."
My heart did something stupid.
"Shut up."
But I didn't let go.
Behind us, Section E collapsed dramatically on the stairs.
"Only girl in the section," Cin said weakly.
"Worth it?" Felix asked.
They all looked at each other.
"…Worth it."
