The sweet potatoes and arrowroots were arranged neatly on a large platter, while fresh milk was poured into a ceramic jug and placed in the center of the table. Looking over everything one last time, she untied her apron with a satisfied smile.
"There," she announced happily. "Breakfast is officially ready."
The rich aroma of freshly cooked food filled every corner of the villa, making even the servants smile as they breathed it in.
Camilla pulled out a chair and sat down, her eyes following Daniella as she neatly folded the apron and placed it back on the counter.
